2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was not wrong to bought bitcoin. on: January 20, 2021, 01:21:24 AM
Congratulations OP. Make sure to sell it when price is right for you. Wish you more great purchases like this.
For me even buying for 50k isn't a bad thing as prices will rise.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: January 20, 2021, 01:13:13 AM
Threads in 2022 be like:

Are people buying BTC @ $250000+ idiots?

Could have bought it in December 2020 for 27k+.

People will buy BTC no matter the price. Whether it's 4k, 27k or 1kk.
BTC is a limited asset and demand for it will only rise.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: January 20, 2021, 01:06:00 AM
Gold is a safe and easy option. That's why general population would rather choose gold. Bitcoin has far more potential but way more risky.

You don't have to be genius to use crypto. Having some experience with finances is useful but not required. Basically anyone can get into crypto.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Nikola Tesla - One & Only on: January 20, 2021, 12:45:03 AM
Tesla had very innovative ideas. If he was listened I think it would have accelerated our technology by 20-50 years.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you want from 2021 ? on: January 20, 2021, 12:38:00 AM
To be better than 2020. 2020 was very rough. I bet it was rough for many.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle stress? on: January 20, 2021, 12:28:05 AM
I do breathing exercises. Turn off tech like phones or computers and just breathe Wink
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Places to travel! Any recommendation~? on: January 19, 2021, 11:48:52 PM
I love to travel. Yes, I haven't travelled to other countries. However, if I can give you one advice - if you still haven't, try travelling within your own country. I bet you will be surprised how many interesting places you can visit within your country.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learning is Important on: January 19, 2021, 11:41:51 PM
Learning is important. Make sure you learn smart. That you learn properly. If you can - learn on someone else's mistakes. Learn from multiple sources and from different points of view. Learn critical thinking. Learn learn learn. Wink
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Artificial intelligence (AI) is as "smart" as people who make them on: January 19, 2021, 11:34:54 PM
I used to be very scared of AI in the past due to certain troubling information in articles, audios, movies I found about them. I won't be surprised if those troubling info are currently being used in massive scale for evil(and "good")

Such program needs lots of information about  things/people... That's part of the reasons you have to be conscious of how you behave on the internet. There are things that are meant to be private and hidden... so they don't easily understand you.
I think AI can be very predictable if GOD is helping you understand them and the humans who made them.
I believe such AI will disappoint greatly and will continue to disappoint and fail those who rely on them for evil agenda if they are not able to be feeding them with the right information, and if the AI is not able to understand and predict certain people/things well

True. There are different types of AI. They are narrow, general purpose and artificial superintelligence. It's the latter that you should be afraid of. Not the first two. Thankfully there isn't yet this type of superintelligence. Unless humans create it in the near future - we are safe. For now.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is skipping meal a bad habit? on: January 19, 2021, 11:27:56 PM
You definitely should ask about this your doctor. Probably dietologist. So he makes personalized diet for you considering your health and weaknesses. At least that's something I'd do. Also depends how big are your meals. For me tho, skipping breakfast is usually completely fine.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Whatsapp and privacy on: January 19, 2021, 11:20:53 PM
On the one hand it's scary story about corporations and hunger for user data. On the other hand, unless you use only encrypted services and are shook every time there is a data leak, most likely Facebook knows most stuff about you anyway.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: January 19, 2021, 11:13:50 PM
I don't think you'll need a degree here to be able to get well paid job. At least you don't computer related degree. I have a degree and I wasn't asked when I was having an interview. HRs were more interested about my portfolio. It might depend if your job is in the other field like law or medicine for example.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weed or cigarettes on: January 19, 2021, 11:06:56 PM
Weed for sure. Haven't anyone who was happy about smoking sigs. Everyone wanted to drop them but couldn't. Plus cigs are way more addictive and do more harm in a long term
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Things you can do in self-isolation:) on: January 19, 2021, 10:59:42 PM
Start doing hobby you've been shelving all this time. Learn to draw, practice to play musical instrument, do bodyweight exercises, yoga, knitting, learn new language, teach yourself to program.. whatever floats your boat. Wink
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria is now the No.2 bitcoin market on: December 22, 2020, 04:29:29 PM

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: December 22, 2020, 04:10:04 PM
I would like to take up the points of an article published on Bitcoinist. (Even if some will say that this media is Pro-Bitcoin the points are the most important.)

Quote
1. Laws Can’t Be Written Against Bits and Bites
2. You Can’t Ban Open-Source Distributed Software
3. Bitcoin Can Be Broadcasted via Satellite
4. You can Send Bitcoin Via SMS
5. You Can’t Shut Down the Power Grid

Any regulation can't prevent us from using Bitcoin. Despite their attempt to keep an eye on the system, it is simply impossible for them to ban people using it. So why giving a fuck to "I'm afraid my country will ban Bitcoin!"
They have nothing to fully stop the ecosystem that is currently emerging.

Interesting read. Thanks for the share.

I don't think BTC could be banned and now I see why that could be true.
