Well, that would solve a lot of thinking too:D

On Reddit some people are mentioning useful tools too (http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/20moxm/i_am_trying_to_ditch_excel_for_keeping_track_of/):
coinfinance.com
myaltcoins.com
multibalance.info
cryptofolio.info

I knew most of them, but didn't know all of them. If you have more to add to the list, please feel free to do so. If you use any of them, share what you like about it, and what you'd like to see improved/changed/added:)

it is the most common solution I found so far: people either do it by head (not very accurate), on notepad, or in a spreadsheet. All of those seem like a lot of hassle, especially if you have multiple coins on various exchanges or wallets..

Could you tell me a bit more about that? How long did it take you to build it? Did you try any other tools or services? What would you build on your service if you would have a bit more time?

Hi,

I would love to hear your feedback on how you handle keeping track of the value of your coins. I have been investing in various coins on several exchanges and invested in numerous coins ever since I started trading last December. I noticed that holding on to coins can be profitable, but also cost you dearly.

Please share the tools you use. Let me know what you like about them. Also, let me know if you have suggestions for me, as I am working on a tool to help keeping track of your coins. You can read more about that at get.machnetic.com. I'll need beta testers some time soon in the next few months to help me prepare for launch, sign up if you'd like to join that beta.
