XDNA progress report
MAY 12, 2019|IN DEVELOPMENT, REPORTS|BY GUNBIT
Good evening XDNA Community.
It’s been a while since our last project report.
Few weeks ago we organized a team chat to speak about current situation with XDNA project. At this moment we pass through a very tough time, there is Cryptopia still not release our pair live , project funds are almost out and we were unfortunate with promote and development the main charity platform for mases. So as a result, we don’t have a complete and simple use-case for XDNA coin, even if it was most innovative coin project in last year and many new projects use our open-source features which we bring to the market. But, we are not ready to give up and we cannot afford to disappoint our main holders and initial investors.
Because of that, we decide to freeze Charity domain for a while (not close, but prologue development for last quarter of 2019) and switch our forces for two new domains:
1. “World Genealogical (Family / Generic) Tree” Short description: The idea is to create a worldwide database of people with practical use and benefit for all project participants. As it is seen in general. Information should be divided into several levels. The first level is the individual. The second level is a family, a particular person is included in a certain family. The third level is the genus. Families are united in childbirth. The first registrant can create a family, specifying the ancestors (an unlimited number) in the form of specific people and + 2 generations ahead (children and grandchildren). From this particular person can build a tree chain in the “classic family tree.” The one who creates the records receives and the ability to edit / fill out information.
2. Together with our new developers – @Raphy Zoe&Bianca & @robert_skadev we decide to help people of Venezuela digitalize their Bolivars to crypto and create a comfort & simple exchange for it. – http://fiatnex.ml/
You can currently register, and the exchange system through fiat currency, CURRENCY = FIAT or FIAT to CURRENCY are enabled it is possible to send balance between users with any of the enabled currencies by just using the user’s name we enable a voucher system, it works as a kind of gift card code, it can be sent to any user in any currency and the balance will be added to your account Currently a shopping system is enabled, the idea is to integrate the balance with external payments through the api, to be able to process payments for services or products such as the mn It is still a function that we are testing, The most certain thing is that it will be disabled by Robert until we finish stabilizing it completely at this moment we only need to enable the recharge method to process the deposits and withdrawals of xdna and the other currency in a semi-automatic way since it would be processed manually auditing the funds in a secure way fiat currency deposits to make shipments or exchange balance we are making some adjustments to try to work with payeer and / or coinpayments / blockchain in this way we would automate the recharge process using fiat currency soon after finishing we would only create an extra and Spanish database to work with fiat BS Venezuelan users the original site is fiatnex.ml temp(edited)
Store your money securely and exchanged for local currency We present a tool that allows the sending of money instantly through a payment system for XDNA, MCPC, BTC, LTC and ETH!
On top of simple exchanger service we will also add a cryptocurrency exchange. This is a very tough road, since dozens crypto exchanges appears from all over the places and you really need dozens of money to successfully promote it at least to cmc top 150 level – but we are not gonna say that we want this exchange become a new “binance” or something like that. We will find a special niche for that product and many upcoming reports and announcements will be about that area.
Next point which we want to optimize – is our team setup. Pretty obvious that many of team members are almost inactive right now. But we will not be hurry in this area. 1st we need to speed up the updates on roadmap/website and whitepaper and adding this two domains into our short-list, and then actually find a way for funding the development process. Some amount was already donated from XDNA Founders team personal pockets, but it is not enough. We will keep our community updated regarding this development process both Geological Tree project and Fiatex.
Be adaptive with XDNA!

I apologize. But I can no longer sustain this suffering I have been waiting for a long time, and it seems that this project is no longer sustainable. Unfortunately, I have to get involved in some project that is really about to get involved with the community. I will not try in any way to compromise the work of the developers, on the contrary I will leave quietly so that those involved in the project have the chance to perform their work without being submitted there is great stress on my part. I wish everyone success and thanks for the experience with Lisk!  Smiley

I like the idea  , no IPO is nice  , also is really nice see that you are using your main account here , I'll be watching this thread for more info .

Thanks for the support  Grin

The question to ask is:

ASICS or no ASICS, at least in the foreseeable future.

I tend to lean toward no ASICS as I still GPU mine. With the way cryptonight algo re: Monero is taking off, maybe that may be the algo to consider. Must improve on it somehow though as some big players are involved in that coin.

Will be keeping an eye on this one.

Thats where we are now, This is exactly the feedback I need.

Problem is, Only on release we can say if it will work on asic or not, If it becomes popular, People will find away to adapt, I hear you fully, As an ASIC on a new coin will kill it, there will be one person hording up, Nothing we can do really, Just hope it goes around evenly.

I will look closer at the monero alg and see if it's something I can use.

It may be possible to eliminate the problem with ASICS at once.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In a Bitcoin Disaster where would you move your Money? on: January 22, 2017, 08:52:56 PM
As in many countries there are their currencies, the digital nation also has its currency ... If you look more closely, you can see that many of these - currencies - as they say are technologies that are only bought with the currency of the digital nation. Here are grown up crazy, backyard scientists, as we see in the success stories. In the event of a disaster such as a ban on the use of Bitcoin for fiat currency exchange, Bitcoin would not have large losses because I would own many of these digital goods and sell to other countries for their fiat currency.  Wink

If you are hiring a professional based on the salary he is already accustomed to in your region, what exactly is he earning?
This seems like exploitation of skilled, cheap and decentralized labor.  Cry

The project is incredible, but it does not seem very interesting from the point of view of egalitarian and decentralized distribution. There are a number of people with less investment power, so I think that the distribution should be proportional to the investment power to facilitate the entry of smaller investors in a fairer way. It's just an opinion! Success to the project!!!  Wink

If you use Google Chrome or Microsoft's Edge, be prepared to switch your browser if you want to turn in the IRS this year. Browsers of the two giants have stopped working with Java technology, which is mandatory for all taxpayers who submit the 2015 income tax return via the internet.

The Tax and Customs Authority (TA) has issued a notice on the Finance Portal to account for the need to use other browsers compatible with the Oracle programming language. In Portugal, Google's browser is used by 46.5% of Internet users, according to Marktest's Netscope.

For two years, Java technology has been known to be potentially vulnerable, with repeated warnings from IT security companies and even the US Department of Homeland Security. This does not prevent Finance from continuing to use this technology.

All technologies have vulnerabilities. But there are some that are considered more insecure than others. Java is an example of how technology can be unreliable: since 2012, US authorities have issued alerts that report vulnerabilities in Oracle's technology platform. In January 2013, the US Department of Homeland Security even advised state agencies to deactivate Java technology. The position taken by the American authorities did not produce great results here on the Atlantic side. Already in late 2015, the Federal Trade Commission imposed on Oracle the obligation to issue alerts to Internet users about the fact that the use of Java is potentially vulnerable.

The IRS advises that "electronic delivery of IRS statements is not possible if you are using the latest versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge."

In 2013, AT referred to silence when asked by Expresso about the use of Java on the IRS online - and from that date until today, the Finance Portal continued to work exclusively for those who use Java ... although Google has announced Which was going to start abandoning the use of Java in Chrome at the time of the debut of version 42 in April 2015.

NOTICE ONLINE
In the online statement available, AT warns that "electronic delivery of IRS statements is not possible if you are using the latest versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge," adding that "to minimize the impact on taxpayers, the process IRS statement delivery has been changed to detect that the taxpayer is using a browser that does not support Java technology and in that case propose alternative solutions that go through the installation of other free browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari (for Mac OS X) or using the offline application to fill out the IRS statement. " Note that in the offline option, the user must download a Java-compatible application to fill out the IRS statement.

"Java technology is known to allow remote code execution on users' computers. Which means that when I access a website, my browser may automatically allow someone to run on my machine codes that may be of unknown origin. It is a bad principle because we are relying on the site we visit and we are believing that we are not being targeted by man-in-the-middle attacks, in which one can intrude on the link we establish with a site, "explains Rui Miguel Silva, coordinator of the Laboratory of Computer Security and Cibercrime UbiNET, which operates in the facilities of the Polytechnic of Beja.

Java technology was first released by Sun Microsystems in 1995 - at a time when the Internet was still far from the technological maturity of today. This programming language did not take long to gain market share, much due to the interactivity allowed. With one or two clicks - or none at all - the user would find a way to work in an environment that made it easy to share documents, data, or multimedia with a website or server that could be thousands of miles away.

JAVA EVERYDAY CAUSE
With security alerts, increased internet speed, and the emergence of standards such as HTML5.0, which already allows data sharing without the installation of code on Internet users' computers, Java has begun to lose support and compatible solutions In the technology industry. And the most visible of "dropouts" is precisely Chrome (and with less market share, the Microsoft Edge), for compatibility with the extensions known as the Netscape Plugin API (NPAPI), because they were initially used in Long extinct Netscape browser.

Francisco Rente, a specialist in electronic security audits and leader of Dognaedis, reminds that the state should assume a different position of a company when it makes its technological bets:By a service to a use of a certain technology, the "state is defining an attack surface. A hacker can focus his resources on a technology, rather than disperse them by different technologies. "

There are also those who relativize the risks of using Java. José Pina Miranda, a pioneer of the Internet in Portugal and a specialist in electronic security, recalls that TA can minimize potential risks by reminding taxpayers of the need to make sure they deliver the statements on the legitimate website of the Finance Portal. "Given the US authorities' releases, it would make sense for AT to make other technologies available (alternatives to Java), but I understand that it is not something that can be done from one day to the next."

Finance source told the Daily Express that, "probably the continued use of Java technology has budgetary reasons, lack of money."

DIGITAL REVOLUTION IN TAXES
The digital revolution has long come to finance, and especially since 2013 the changes are evident and visible. The electronic delivery of the IRS is part of the habits of the Portuguese who, every year, send more than 5 million declarations to the Tax and Customs Authority (TA) via the internet.

The e-invoice project saw the light of day in 2013, rooted in the consumer's habit of asking for an invoice, whether for the tax benefit associated with restaurant expenses or car repair shops, or for the chance of winning Audi (these raffles started in 2014 and the last one will be tomorrow, since from April 7 the Luck Invoice prize will be constituted by Savings Certificates More).

All this was technology-based, some of which developed by Oracle, whose contracts were subject to public procurement rules.

This year, for the first time, the delivery of the IRS has more features, since the amounts of deductible expenses are pre-inscribed by the Finance in the declaration of each taxpayer. This has forced taxpayers to carry out various steps, such as validating invoices on your page or reporting expenses that were not on the site. The changes also led to changes in the timing of invoice validation, as well as IRS delivery, which in the case of third-party workers begins on April 1 and for self-employed workers (and for those who have other incomes beyond Of work, such as income).

These changes arose due to the various technical problems that occurred during the validation period of the invoices.
In fact, technical problems have been a constant in the Finance Portal. There were problems at the end of the deadlines for the electronic delivery of the IRS and IRC each year, so that by 2015 the IRS delivery system became autonomous to be more responsive.

However, this year it has already been verified that the e-invoice registers difficulties in data processing when there are peaks in access, as was observed in February of this year with the validation of invoices.
The Daily Express contacted Finance to find out, among other things, if they are considering migrating to alternative technology to Java, but until the end of this edition the Ministry of Finance did not comment.

Is there a place where I can study this new language?
I can test it there?

Hello Ohad!
After taking a look at the information about your project I got some doubts:
This is a super decentralized computer?
Artificial intelligence?
A new network of decentralized internet?
Or is it all together and mixed?
I'm sorry, the question is that I am a layman, and the information is in a very complex level.
Thanks in advance for your attention and success in this endeavor!  Cheesy

Draft V0.2 of the white paper for comments.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oXPcN_l3vHIJq0PmhsVWCvdx45ovcJ-ifxkOPEOClZw/edit

After a commenting period, we will finish off the conclusion.  A technical paper might follow in due course (not sure its needed yet) on how to deploy the Bitcoin full node incentives program.

I guess that will have to wait until ServiceNode testing is started, along with a separate testnet for the Bitcoin nodes program.

If you read how the incentives could be funded, you might get as excited as I am about the viability of the program.

Comments will be much appreciated. Stonehedge is on holiday at the moment, so very little work will be done on the white paper now. It's basically done.

Draft v.03 will also see some formatting changes and a contents page. We can then, hopefully, send it out to any Bitcoin devs interested enough and willing to comment.

After that, we'll incorporate any changes before pushing out the paper and engaging the media to see what the Bitcoin community thinks.

I have not read the finished text, the more I can assure you it is a very enriching reading! As soon as possible I will read!  Smiley

Bitcoin full node white paper almost done.

Once data has been incorporated from Stonehedge's trial running a Bitcoin node on AWS, we should have a draft out.

Anyone fancy reading the draft and commenting, please let me know.

I can see?
