Real uses are better - such as gambling, shops, gift cards. Reasons for people to hold on to the coin since they might be able to spend it elsewhere in the future.

Good point indeed, a baseless hype won't work. But don't you think we need to get the word about slothcoin out there in order to create a large community? How do you suggest spreading the word efficiently?
