1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology use in biohazard access restriction? on: March 05, 2015, 12:14:50 PM
They say "a federal investigator of the facility was found to be exposed to the bacteria 24 hours after he visited the facility".

What happened to the guy I wonder - did he actually catch the disease?
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Win 3 BTC in new great contest from Cointelegraph and Liberty.me on: March 05, 2015, 08:54:49 AM
I voted for the first child multimillionaire - sounds like a fairy tale to me, a 12-year-old kid mining bitcoins.
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Great Giveaway from Cointelegaph and Sponsors! on: March 05, 2015, 08:15:02 AM
One can hardly become a millionaire, but I've successfully gambled at fairproof a few times.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Week in Bitcoin (November 1-8): Coinarch Weekly Bit on: November 12, 2014, 01:39:53 PM
Things like that are very important even if we don't see an immediate result.

People's awareness is very important - it will work in the long run.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014: The Worst Year for BTC? on: September 05, 2014, 07:58:26 AM
I would say this year was pretty boring, but i can't call it bad.  We didn't experience any dramatical price drops, so the year was okay.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What´s the future of money? on: September 05, 2014, 07:52:39 AM
Paper money will disappeear for sure... It's so sad. I would like to make it rain sometimes...

You can do that very cheaply with currencies that hyper inflated, like the Zimbabwean dollar, or the Belarusian ruble Smiley

Guess we will always have Zimbabwean money for that. I don't think they will get rid of paper money in the near future.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Are you addicted to BTC price checking. Please VOTE on: September 05, 2014, 07:48:50 AM

Today is august 29th, one of the last days of summer. Although the Gregorian calendar sets the New Year's start from January, we all know that it actually starts with September 1st. Summer moves on smooth and serene and every day is the same. Summer is the time of rest and is perfect for having a rundown on what has happened during the year. Autumn, on the other hand, is the time for action. Autumn is when you set out on a new project, full of energy and enthusiasm.

This year is crucial for our team for many reasons. We've summarized what has been done for the last two years and drew a plan for the next year. The development strategy at last has been formalized with every member of the team keenly aware of his part in it. These last few days of summer is the time we summon the strength for a long and intense autumn.

We'd like to express our gratitude to everyone who's been helping us build Bytecoin for the last two years. We equally appreciate the work of those who's been with us from the very beginning and who's joined the project when it was well under way. Because of your hard work Bytecoin is now a perfect financial instrument that will serve the world a good job. We are looking forward to the future with great enthusiasm.

I wish i could have joined the Bytecoin community earlier, but i was not really into alt coins at that time. Now, when i'm here i would like to thank our dev team for he work they do.  And also would like to thank our community just for being cool  Smiley

Voted for Bytecoin. Which is probably the most anonymous out of all anonymous coins listed.

Looks like the new update caused a little mess... Idk though, everything works fine for me.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Major update NOW! on: August 14, 2014, 07:31:39 PM
So what are the advantages of multi signatures besides the obvious, like transparency, scam protection and easier transactions?

Fantastic android app. Bravo

I concur. Massive thanks to whoever made this.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: August 05, 2014, 11:41:22 AM

It looked legit at first.. but then the developers faced some issues and now it looks like they took a break. It's sad though, we definately need a wallet like this. I hope they will continue the development process and son we will be able to use their wallet. (and i'm not calling it by name, because the name of this wallet remains one of the main issues)

Their thread is dead. People ask questions but never get any response. Im also wondering what happened because i got excited about Cryptonite wallet. Sad

I don't know. I used to mine BCN with Minergate - the first and the best pool for mining CN-based coins.

Well, tastes differ.  Smiley
I am glad that you are satisfied with Minergate but without excluding other options

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 04, 2014, 08:15:57 AM

 Lips sealed
why would anyone move from xmr to a pump and dump (cloaka)?

You know this is altcoin economy where everything is pump and dump, yes, even XMR, but pump and hype aspect is very limited due to high mining inflation.
Time in altcoin scene is measured in days , because the risk of scam and competition is very high and odds are stacked greatly against you, don't believe that XMR is any different even though prominent members are advocating ownership, but they are invested and that's why emotionally connected to their investment. Test of time is unfortunatelly still the best method for evaluation of any altcoin.

you've just read my mind. I agree, without doubt XMV developers have invested a lot of money in this coin.
That's, of cause, because of their willing to get profit
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 04, 2014, 05:18:41 AM
Why Monero price is down  Huh

In my opinion, classic pump & dump.  Developers hope to repeat it again (it hasn't passed on Mint). They've invested a lot of money and now they want to get profit.

According to the news XMR devs were busy and now are going to implement new features. IMO, this news are rumors to pump XMR price so they'll be able to dump it soon .
