I'm very excited to use this pool. However I cant seem to connect to my workers. I have tried CG BFG and minerd all of them seem to connect to the pool but they don't seem to connect to my workers. minerd says things like

[2014-05-02 08:15:26] thread 5: 4116 hashes, 5.88 khash/s
but never any messages that work was accepted by the pool and my workers never show as active on the site.
I have used the commands straight from the instructions page but still no dice.
Any help would be much appreciated
We were testing automatic vardiff... The test was fine, but had problems with cpu and some software with GPU (bfgminer). At the moment all is like before (manual) this week, i am going to test some changes in my local machine with this softwares and may be next week will be again the auto vardiff. |

Also I like mining on this pool but mostly don't because no matter what difficulty I set I mostly get "stratum requested work restart".
Thi is not an error nor looses hashrate. is a normal stratum message. The pool sends new work in the same block and ask the miner to restart with the new work. |

can you please Review email why Nicehash.com wont work with manicminer ? we should rent out all ghs and let them mining on manicminer ..... it only Scrypt: 1.49 GH/s @ 5.45 BTC/GH/Day we can share the profits  and help boost the pool Worked together with nicehash. I think it is a fantastic option with PPS pools. at MM, is fine if you pay 6/7 BTC x GHS if not, it sends the power on batches. so you are hashing power and not hashing when the block confirms... :-( Dont have to change anything, but if you are going to test, do it on port 10002. No difference but this port is only DOGE. DOGE confirms very fast. so you have more chance to confirm your own hashed block...... My test tonight with 0.06 BTC limiting power to 500MHS (wanted to last longer) paying 4.5 btc per GHS/day went fine and got 0.06 (te same. so i tested and not loosed :-) tonight i have to test the DOGE port. if you test before. tell us your result. if not, i'll tell my results.... |

Doge is still random reward, wikipedia has it wrong saying it's fixed at 250k, but can't remember if it's "up to" 250k or averaging 250k at the moment... might only be a couple of days left before it drops again though.
It is fixed 250K. But now we went back to p2pool colaborative mining. So smaller blocks...... |

was just about to ask why we only got 1484 doge in our last block , we a least it stable the earning
i think the calculator is out a bit . normally it so close or better then the profit and power
i have been renting rigs ( total of 4.9 mhs ) and mining my self with about 2.9 mhs
and i have only got Total estimated value: min0.012626/avg0.01376003 in the last 12 hours
6 mhs @ Total BTC estimated 0.00741833 ( was up around 0.008) should be about 0.02225499
atm i am only making 0.0043 per Mhs per day
Yes. DOGE was the culprit..... at the actual diff and hashrate. less han a block per day. For that went back to p2pool schema. if you sum the doge part as if it were discovered, the sum is fine. Let see what gives tomorrow (at this moment 3 mini p2pool DOGE confirmed. the last 2759 DOGE) p2pool has a "capacitor" effect in the rewards. I think now we are going to get close to 5K Doge x hour. thats 110K x day. (only estimating) in a couple of hours, i think we will reach 5K x hour.. |

DOGE CHANGED BACK TO P2POOL
Since now and until we get more hashrate, DOGE is changed back to p2pool schema. This way, we will get doge payments every day (not the entire 250000 block)

Why are there so little doge blocks? Isn't it supposed to be mining on p2pool like litecoin is?
No. it changet to solo mining when we reached 300Mhs... :-( (look at the last blocks. they are 250000 DOGE) but variance dont like us.... we calculated 1 block a day. May be we need to change back if we dont get more power to p2pool as this breaks the profit calculations..... :-( |

I have some gridseed units dedicated to this, but I had to lower the frequency on them quite a bit for they turn off, even when increasing the difficulty.
Also, still a newb here, but how does increasing the "pool"? difficulty affect the miners?
I'm wondering if I need to really increase this to be able to go back to overclocking my gridseeds to 500kh/s again.
500khs? and how many HW errors? Diff has nothing to solve here..... may be power supply. but not sure... the mines are working the best at freq=900 ... More than this, the WU falls...... so it is the st at my side... if the WU parameter falls, there is no gain in overclocking more. please send me your cgminer command line here or private and i will test with the mines. |

Few thing for the admin
Could we have a :
•The option to pick our coin we want to mine.
Personally I would rather mine 100% doge + all 2nd coin
I don't like it When I see that 1% of my power is mine on a coin I don't want.
+1 only doge or ltc + all 2nd coins Not really a good idea. LTC and doge are not the most profitable. byt. the game is other. Block solving is like to play lottery. as a share solves a block, If we have 10 main chains and mergemining all the secondaries , we are playing with 10 numbers in the same block.... |

I see that each coin has a fee to cash the individual coins out, but does that apply to exchanging to BTC?
No. The fee is for tx only. there is no fee for btc trading. but the txfee of Btc when sending out (i know it is a bit high now a days. we are going to lower it.) |

After calculation, all coins are summed..... The only problem with that is DOGE. as we are hitting a block any 2 - 3 days..... :-( So if you get less than expected. have to see if in this period a DOGE block has been solved...... |

I mined there for a day with 3 Mh/s, but one thing bugged me, i only got like 15K Leafcoins instead of the 300Kish i should have got according to the "power and profits" page while all the other coin rewards were accurate, but it made the total BTC profit much lower than expected on the table.
Yes. it is for a problem with foundation block in leafcoin merged mining. We are working with the leafcoin developers with than (see te lafcoin thread) |
