I think the chip is formatted with this and can't be changed. You may see a lot of used S9s on the market soon.

I'm guessing Bitmain will come out with more than one new miner around March/April. There selling off everything stocked in there  warehouses to finance new R/D. That's what I would do in there place. They already know about the asicboost.

Now let's see what Bitmain will come up with.

I would say they got a lot. Good - Bad - in-different but a lot of us watched the whole thing from start till March and they sold a LOT!!!

Looks like a few of the high rollers are getting into the game. By the time I get my hands on one of those 18Th. miners I would be lucky to ROI the miner.

You are right. That's going to happen later this year But its for a new board using there 7nm. chip. There supposed to have opened a mining facility this past December 31, 2017 using that chip. If that happened I don't know. The thing is  there's someone else besides Bitmain in the ring now. Who knows Halong may be using there chips!!! That is if they exist.

Your right. But the 10nm. is supposed to happen this year. I've been trying to find the article I read to reference it here but no luck so far. I'll keep looking. Can't remember S*** in my old age.

There talking about a 28Th. miner some time in March/April this year. If the development of the other chips comes into being in 2019/20 the next couple years things are going to be wild to say the least.

The Dragonmint miner may be real but what I've seen on YouTube and read on Bitcoin it may also be dead after some of the other companies like GMO come out with a 10nm. chip later this year. Here's one of the articles I'm going by.
