1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike K16 build - USB and power connections on: November 09, 2013, 06:37:16 AM
I posted my .conf file in the main thread here:

2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: November 09, 2013, 06:33:59 AM
can anyone answer my questions here:

What are the springs and the white washers for?

What is a valid cgminer .conf file for these k16's and what does the parameters mean?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=317722.msg3406917#msg3406917

Here's my .conf:
Code:
{
"pools" : [
{
"url" : "stratum.btcguild.com:3333",
"user" : "username",
"pass" : "x"
}
],

"failover-only" : true,
"klondike-options" : "350,55"
}

350 refers to the MHz and 55 to the max temp before it pauses to cool down. I plan on changing my max temp to 65 this weekend, but to get it into the 60s you need to compile cgminer yourself after editing it.

I'm not a windows user anymore but it looks like you need to install the winusb driver, I'd mine from linux personally since its more secure and has better uptime stability

Found it and it's running well now.
~4.5 Gh/s average (over 5 minutes) @ 300MHz. Will be tweaking it later tonight.

Received mine this morning, hooked it up and I am getting this:

The actual mining that is being done is with my 7970, can't get the Klondike working. What am I doing wrong?

Here's my config:
Code:
{
"pools" : [
{
"url" : "stratum.btcguild.com:3333",
"user" : "cmorris14_1",
"pass" : "123"
}
],

"failover-only" : true,
"klondike-options" : "300,50"
}

Should be getting the one K16 I ordered on Thursday. I don't need to hook it up to a RPi or anything special, right? I can just hook it up to my PSU and plug it in to my computer via USB?
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Ann] US based Avalon ASIC chips and assembly: 3,197 remaining on: June 24, 2013, 10:19:41 PM
Steamboat -
I ordered 16 chips with full assembly from batch 5. This is short notice and I am unlikely to be able to get BTC in that time period because I'm still waiting on CampBX's Dwolla hold. I just set up a Coinbase account, but not sure that will be ready on time either.

Also, I haven't gotten any email.

Thanks.

So apparently, the way I see it, is that someone has some urgent and unforeseen personal circumstances, that by all accounts appear to be pretty damn serious, and people are lining up to make baseless accusations and generally shit all over him. What a fantastic community we're building here.

xboxgames: If you're reading this and need any help, drop me a PM. The btc is immaterial at the moment. I won't judge and I'm here if you need me.
nickassa, owner of notroll.in, said the same thing and look how that turned out. I say give him some time, but I wouldn't expect getting anything back.

Looking to order 16 chips, do I need to sign a message with the BTC payment or do I sign a message later? Or for the original purchase do I only need to send the BTC?

Making about ~3 coins an hour when I should be making 6.75 based on hashing power. Also, auto payment is not working, haven't tried manual.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Trouble Pool Mining with DeepBit on: June 28, 2011, 02:52:55 AM
So i followed this guide:
http://www.newslobster.com/bitcoin/how-to-set-up-pooled-bitcoin-mining-in-windows

I tried to set up a pooled mining account with DB. I made the .bat file as instructed and when i run it it shows the MHashs/s I'm doing in a cmd window, and occasionally says something about a new block, but when i go to my DB account it says I've done nothing. Doesn't even list my average mhash/s for the last 10 minutes. not sure what's wrong.

Any advice? Can anyone trusted TeamView me?

Thanks in advance.
