Hi all,

I'm very new to all of this!

The problem relates to mining on a Nvidia Geforce GT335M card!

I own an Alienware M11x gaming laptop which, for its size class, packs a fair amount of power under the hood. I have been successfully mining using the i7 CPU but the hashes I've been getting are pathetic (4~5Mhashes range).

I'm keen to harness my GPU for mining...however have been hitting problems.

I'm using guiminer - which I believe is actually rpcminer-cuda.exe for this purpose.

On guiminer things never progress past the 'connecting' stage - and the worker I create for the task doesn't appear to have connected.

I first updated my GPU, Physx etc to the most recent drivers...

I then tried again - no luck.

Finally I decided to dispense with the gui and see what happened if I tried to launch the program in dos.

I launched rpcminer-cuda.exe with no parameters and was immediately greated with the error I suspect is halting everything. It reads (in spanish but I'll roughly translate it below:

"No se encuentra el punto de entrada del procedimiento cuMemcpyDtoH_v2 en la biblioteca de vinculos dinamicos nvcuda.dll"

which means something like:

"No entry for the proceedure cuMemcpyDtoH_V2 could be found in the dll library nvcuda.dll"

Could anyone advise me as to how to proceed?

if it helps my GPU is a Nvidia Geforce GT335M

Many thanks all!

I'm interested intrigued and fascinated by the whole concept of bitcoin.

I've been trying to get my Alienware M11x down to mining all day. CPU mining works fine but the hashes are atrocious!

Signed up in here with the hope of asking someone for a spot of advice on getting CUDA working on my NVIDIA as it's proving problematic!

But that's a story for another thread! :-)
