1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best performing cryptos of 2019,what have you played? on: December 25, 2019, 08:39:56 AM
I think even in 2019 Bitcoin is the best investment of all the above. There are high risks involved in other alts around for sure, one can argue some of them give good profits and are a stable enough to compete Bitcoins but that is always countered by its global usage in the world.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin circulation supply on: December 24, 2019, 06:35:59 AM
I think you could use the circulation data here about the Bitcoins but it is real time and I think you would create a data file by your own and update it weekly.

3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Downloading Songs/Video Youtube Downloader Program Without Malware? on: December 24, 2019, 06:13:06 AM
But for some reason, ytd doesn't seem to work when i copy link to download from youtube to it. Can someone tell me why this doesn't work? Do i need to download or upgrade it? I assume its still free to do this right as i assume most ppl who put songs on their iphone do that?

YTD was one of the popular YouTube video downloader, but they have stopped there services as per I see. I use to use it often as it even had features to download songs as MP3 and much more.

But one can find a number of alternative to it with similar features intrigated. A simple Google search would give you many results even websites to download it directly to your device.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to report a scam on telegram ? recommended way on: December 24, 2019, 06:00:38 AM
This surely look like a recently add features on telegram, and can come up as a good warning message under proven scam projects around. It is surely a late implementation as it was more need at the time of BTC hype but is an exciting decision by telegram.

6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to stay private when using Android (protonmail blog) on: December 20, 2019, 04:51:30 PM
For those who would like to avoid Android completely, there are some alternatives in the form of Linux smartphones.

Linux Smartphones are worth to be mentioned in the space of morden world privacy phones, the are a smart alternative too. But one cannot use android as suggested in the OP mostly, as most of the people use it as a daily driver and google provides one of the best data storing techniques and best user experiences in there daily driving apps.

Btw, even if you use custom roms, using Google apps is still important.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which decentralized exchanges (DEX) are the best ones to use now? Help me plz on: December 10, 2019, 11:21:29 AM
Forkdelta is better, it's ui/ux sucks however.

The problem with them is liquidity and probably fees. IMO it's not worth it to use dexes if your tokens are listed on somewhere else like Binance. Especially if there's no KYC required.

Forkdelta really sucks, it has a bunch of garbage coins stuck on. Its basically an unmanaged exchange and one should avoid trading on such. And of course its is not decentralized, rather none of them are fully so choose wisely.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password on: December 10, 2019, 11:12:42 AM
I don't think password manager's could be trusted enough to generate a password for use, mostly when it has to be used for some thing very important or financial stuff.

Most of the people around tend to use same password on most of there user accounts online and they carry a risk of loosing all they have at a single cracking incidence so I would just advice not doing so, but its seems to be in human nature.

I think a manual randomly generated password could act in a more secure way than a generator.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: November 29, 2019, 08:50:49 PM
I don't think 9$ is enough but still its a good start.

I would not recommend you not to go with trading if you don't have any prior knowledge about it, as it is pretty risky too.

I would just wisely suggest you to earn more to invest.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Please answer this question, ( What to mine with low budget GPUs) on: November 29, 2019, 08:55:08 AM
Graphics cards are built to play classic games, don't use it for mining it's old school already and a dump decision. The difficulty is not even same as you got in 2016 so just roll up the plan.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which dex for converting ETH to BTC? on: November 29, 2019, 08:51:10 AM
That’s interesting to know.
Thanks.
So, to recap, the best definition is: centralised, non-custodial.

Yes, but still they can hold up your funds as per there wish and ask you for KYC, this takes them no where near to be decentralized.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10% collateral BTC loan...real or scam? on: November 25, 2019, 02:47:41 PM
When I read the word telegram and loan together, it just made me sure about all of this being scam. Never trust on anyone on telegram, its a very easy pray hunting for scammers there. I would say just don't invest in that mud.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Profile Trust +0 / =0 / -0 on: November 21, 2019, 06:25:37 AM
How is the trust used? I get the impression people use this site as platform for buying/selling in addition to just posting questions and answers?

There is something called trust list here if you are not using any customized one than you are on default one were all the DT members trust count as trustworthy feedback which could be visible on the trust wall. Other feedbacks lay under the untrustworthy feedback list, means the people whom you don't trust. It would not show until you click on the "Show ratings" text there.

One can use trust system to show how trustworthy you feel a specific user is. You can put on your own trust rating as negative, positive or neutral with a comment.

Yes, people use this site for buying and selling but, all the trust rating's here does not imply actual trades but could also point to personal disagreements so be sure to check them manually by clicking on the word "trust".
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to add bitcoin as payment gateway on: November 21, 2019, 06:00:21 AM
I wouldn't suggest Spectrocoin. It's shitty service in general and there is some scam accusations sgainst them.
You can try to look at Coingate or Coinpayments.
There is also open source payment proccessor BTCPayServer.org, it's worth to check.
All of these services are easy to integrate, you just have to install their plugin to your website.

Ok, I see thanks for the advice. I would need to take a look at more info on all of them.

But I would probably prefer going with BLOCKCHAIN.INFO as I often use it and find them trustworthy overall.

@soniaboxer, you have direct amazon links to the products you are just recommending on your website. Amazon doesn't accept Bitcoin's directly until, so I don't think it would be that easy to integrate a BTC payment getway to amazon.
15  Economy / Services / Re: Help confirmation bitcoin trans on: November 20, 2019, 03:25:26 PM
There are many free services online offering transaction acceleration services. I would recommend you staying away from some of the shady paid once.

Btw, meta is not the right place to ask.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to add bitcoin as payment gateway on: November 20, 2019, 03:02:58 PM
One can even do this on  Blockchain.info if he is a regular user.

OR

You can use any reputed getways from the following.

1. CoinPayments

2. CoinBase

3. CoinGate

4. GoUrl.io

5. SpectroCoin

I wouldn't recommend BitPay, as I recently saw some bad comments about it here.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can we buy and sell gifts trough bitcoin on: November 20, 2019, 02:54:19 PM
Accepting BTC would increase your profits in one way or the other, I think its a good move for the business.

You could go with some of the reputed getway services for crypto, I see as said above Bitpay could not be a good choice. I would advice you going with CoinPayments, as I think its a decent one.

18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Group of victims of revolut limited on: February 22, 2019, 11:29:10 AM
Organize victims !

If you have a capital that you will not need in the foreseeable future, or you may not have trouble if you lose forever, Revolut is your service provider.

Steps :

1. You collect a few thousand pounds in your Revolut account.
2. Revolut freezes your account.
3. You ask: Why have my account been blocked? The answer is: We cannot give information about this!
4. You ask: When can I get my deposit! The answer is: We cannot give information about this!
5. Waiting for a few weeks, you're looking for legal options.
6. You are reading the Revolut Terms of Use and are shocked !!!!  (Revolut can steal your money anytime! No need to justify it!)

After that, if you want: TRY OUT!

Most of there reply to the customer look sh#t to me and of no genuine reasons presented by them for the locking of the account.

I think there nothing much you can do about it on the forum, I read there Revolut Terms of Use and it's truly a mess for sure.

I would suggest you to rather report this to legal authority.
19  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitplaza: Worlds First Bitcoin Friendly Shopping App (iTunes&Google Play) on: February 22, 2019, 11:22:40 AM
It seems to me a good inovative to increase business and the use of Bitcoin among the common users in their day to day life. I have already seen much of the crypto online shops running around the web but didn't saw a store running its Android and IOS apps to purchase products with the help of crypto or Bitcoin.

I would suggest you to add a more range of product option to your store and also a bit user-friendly sorting system for it. It just makes the user experience smooth and attracts more customer.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: How news influence the market. on: February 22, 2019, 11:14:54 AM
I think the question in the title is wrong it rather should be "what things in the market are not influenced by the news"

If you check most of the economic balance is manipulated and influenced by news and it also impacts big markets like Bitcoin and crypto. If bad news is spread in the crypto industry the market start dumping itself in whatever way it can, this is just some people panic selling their crypto fund due to the bad news.  From this you could just say any market is influenced by the news as it directly affects the people engaged in the market.
