Can any Canadians here sell me one?

Hi Jenna,

Yup u know a Canuck will pop up sometime- lol

I should have one to spare after i get my first 2 in about 10 days. You would likely don't want to wait that long and i would have to ship from Ottawa. You might do better if you check with bitcoinware.net (or bitcoinware.ca ) in Toronto... high chance you are in TO too- lol.

For all Canucks, There's also a new re seller in Vancouver called Antminer Canada ( antminer.ca ). Do a google search. There's always someone selling antminer's on kijiji and Craigslist too. I saw an S3 for sale there today. I don't recall if he has it on hand and I think it was Edmonton. Some sell on Canada's Bitcoin forum too.

Just ordered an S3 batch 5 from 112bit.  I bought S1s from Juan before. All went well.

Where did batch 4 go? I'm kinda hoping this being batch 5 that we might get the approved controllers but who knows. I was still expecting topminingcontracts to post here before batch 4 and 5 came out and went.

I don't know what happened but i missed Batch 4 too. I was even checking on Bitmain's site daily and missed it. I did get lucky and find a Canadian re- seller which had some Batch 4 still available last week. I also ordered batch 5 from Juan because he treated me well with my S1 orders last Spring and always has one of the best deals you will find for any batch.

Juan,

How are you guys handling the Coupons/Refund based on Bitmain's annoucement?

1)   10.0% worth of coupon for the B1~B3 customers. This is the default option.
2)   7.7% worth of refund. We will release a function on our official website for application of this option. If you have bought from our resellers, please contact them and provide your Bitcoin address.

Just trying to follow up on this, tried calling no answer. Sad

I was just reading on Bitmain's S3 Discussion and Support forum at this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=671189.msg8042466#msg8042466

Apparently, Bitmain is just starting to process the refund.

There's also a lot of tech talk on Bitmain's forum. That may be of interest to some of you.

Also UPS is a wee bit slower delivering to us Canucks then our friendly cousins to the south. Based on my career (am old and retired)  in border work, I know their system very well and was not totally surprised.

All offshore shipments coming to CAN/USA go into their US hub in Louisville, Kentucky first. Then. after they are sorted, and all Cdn parcels are re-directed to the UPS Cdn hub at Hamilton Airport. After CBSA review and clearance, they are delivered to the Cdn importer.

Most courier shipments (not just UPS) from offshore will take about the same time. So in most cases, the best scenario for we Canucks is 4 days when importing offshore goods....ie: 1 or 2 days longer than our cousins to the south. Still not bad tho. Don't let it be a deterrent.

Would it be possible to know the value you put on import papers for Canada customs so to make sure I got some set aside for it before ordering 1 tks in advance

$132.34 was put on my importer docs for Canada Customs (CBSA). Total fees i paid were $28.50 CDN. Much lower than i had expected.

Breakdown:

GST on product: $17.20
UPS Brokerage fee: $ 10 + $ 1.30 for GST= 11.30

Hello everyone,

You may recall me posting earlier that i had some issues with getting my Antminer s1 while Juan was tied up at the NY conference. Once Juan got back to his office in Florida, he resolved the issues. I got my antminer and its running beautifully.

I can"t say enough about how much Juan did to help me out. He is an honorable and trustworthy businessman.

Juan,

I truly appreciate  Smiley your sincere explanation and am happy you found out what went wrong. I can only imagine the volume of orders, emails etc you are dealing with.

I will go for the compensation of 1 week's mining in bitcoins and wait for the miner to arrive.

Do you know if the miner has been shipped yet.....or  when it will be shipped?

Once you know the shipping info, please email me the UPS tracking number so i can track it.

Alicia

He is traveling home from the conference and will get to you guys.
Sorry for the delays.

Is there anyone else that hasnt recieved payment confirmation or any response back from emails to 112bit?
I would like to know if they recieved my payment would make me feel better if i new my money was in the right hands

I'm in the same boat with you.  No confirmation, no message replies here, my pm's or on their website's messaging system.
This is my first time buying from 112bit.com & it's not a very good first time experience.
I ordered 7 S1's & no confirmation of any kind.  BTC has been confirmed as gone from my acct. though.

Anyone else?

Is he on a bicycle?  Sheesh. I drive down to Alabama, ...a lot, in 16-19 hours from New York City.  3-5 more hours gets you to Miami, me thinks.
The show ended on Tuesday the 8th of April.
On a more serious note, I hope nothing has happened to him on the way down.

I think we answered yet every received message, I was very busy last days and unfortunately some delays occur every customer with a delay should have now a message with updates case by case.

If anyone has no update in his order please mail me directly to jg@112bit.com

New stock of S1 will be added in 24-48 hours, may be later this weeks more news about S2 stock.

Juan

Just sent another email to you at jg@112bit.com... but this time it came back as "permanently undeliverable". Maybe that's why people are complaining about not getting replies from you. You were not getting our emails.

Anyway I, re sent it to admin@112bit.com.  My order (# 404) was confirmed on Apr 2 by you and was shipped that night. I still have not got it. I need a status update or at least a tracking number.

EDIT: Not saying I don't trust you. You have a good rep on this thread. I just know you have been busy with the conference and i think some our emails did not get thru to you.

Is strange really I got 100+ emails per day at jg@112bit.com

Will keep an eye on the mail server.

Thanks for the info

I hate to do this...but here goes.  I have sent 4 emails since my son's (ATCkit) order was confirmed on April 2nd and shipped that evening. I have not received 1 reply.

- email to  jg@112bit.com on Apr 3 asking for the UPS tracking number.
- emailed  info@112bit.com on Apr 5th asking for the same info.
- emailed  jg@112bit.com  today and got an undeliverable message. So I re-sent teh email to admin@112bit.com. no reply yet.

I'm stopping short of copying and pasting those emails here.

It is now 9 days (7 business days) since the order was shipped. No one will even reply with any details on our shipment's status- not even a tracking number so that i can do the shipment tracing myself. Honestly, i have that "sinking gut" feeling.

Why would I build another GPU rig for $2200 when i can get a Script Asic miner that hashes 3 times as much with less power and costs me less than $400?

The low cost high efficiency Asic machines make it even easier for everyone to mine litecoin for much less than using GPUs. So they should help to maintain decentralization. Basically anyone get > 8 MHS for $0.04 per kHs and use a ton less electricity than GPUs.

I might even give away my GPUs just to replace them with 30 Fibonacci recursions per GPU on my mining rig. Way cheaper way to get great hashing power on one rig and at a much lower price per kHs. I just can't see how that will decrease decentralization. Everyone can do the same without buying a KNC Titan.
