1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ PandaCoin [PND] ★★★ New devs, old community. Updated links ! on: June 21, 2017, 10:08:08 PM
It's good to see that this old coin is still alive, if barely. Tongue

However, the Linux download link on digitalpandacoin.org is broken (and appears to be quite old compared to the download in your first post).

I still have a copy of the 3.0.1 bank/wallet I last used... it had a 0 balance last time I used it, so I just blew away the ~/.pandacoin directory, but the program can't find any peers (let alone sync with the blockchain). and I put your list of "addnode" peers from another post into use.  It's syncing, but it's being slow about it.

crackfoo, I'm still waiting for an old LTC payout, see wallet address LU2b4ZVEaciNskdD2MpfimtjgFzhiy7jsi ... I know it's not much, and I presume you're still not mining LTC, but please top it up or something, manual payout, I don't care what.  It's been sitting there unpaid for several weeks now (since around Feb. 12) and I don't run my miners just for the heat.

The equivalent in BTC can be sent to 19H3ELfNia1WmSMcKgv1NFpmqconcnPWAW if you prefer (at this point, BTC is better for me as well, but whatever).

Still waiting for my last payout on LTC.  ~3.677 left unpaid for three weeks now.

Wallet address there is LU2b4ZVEaciNskdD2MpfimtjgFzhiy7jsi

I'm referring to the non-BTC payouts part on http://www.zpool.ca/

LTC isn't being mined.

In that case, and since a previous message from you to someone else here said LTC probably won't be mined anytime soon, I would appreciate a manual payout/top-up.  I have switched to a BTC address (19H3ELfNia1WmSMcKgv1NFpmqconcnPWAW) for future payouts.

I am not sure which part you are referring to; by all indications there and on the regular "Wallet" page, there should be little delay.  12 days is an awful long time to wait.

There is not enough history on the "Wallet" page (or no obvious link) to see whether the unpaid balance is delayed due to immature coins, waiting-on-exchange, etc., so I recommend adding something next to "Total Unpaid" indicating those totals.

Things were working pretty nicely at first, then suddenly payouts just stopped.  I've received no wallet payouts for 12 days now, meanwhile the pool reports a steadily-increasing balance (showing ~3.61 LTC unpaid as of this post).

My wallet address is LU2b4ZVEaciNskdD2MpfimtjgFzhiy7jsi
7  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: June 18, 2015, 01:03:52 AM
A hacky scrypt rig I assembled a while back, overclocked slightly to 13.6-13.7 MH/sec (all devices are stock because I'm a chickenshit when it comes to actually hardware modding such things  Smiley )...  It's all stuffed into a PC case because the computer therein also serves as my network gateway/firewall, so it's up 24/7 anyway.  The strips of tape across the front are just to keep my cats out while the machine is closed-up, as the front "knockout panels" have long since been removed.

Yeah, I'm not about to pay anything until I get what I'm owed first.  By my figures, around 241 LTC, so about 1.86 BTC at the current exchange rate.  That makes his fee half what he owes me!

I'm not inclined to call people names, but that REALLY stretches my patience.

My account finally cleared today, and like everyone else, he wants me to pay to resume... payments.  In my case, he wants about 0.94 BTC (for 554 shares that I have only had since November), and all balances are currently showing 0.  Meanwhile, I haven't seen a mining payment since Dec. 19.

*sigh*

I'd put that one on cafepress or so, but aside from my not owning the IP that went into making it, I'm not exactly sure how the PND devs would feel about that, and it wasn't my idea to begin with (*looks at cadexn*).  Smiley

Here's my take on the PND sticker, incorporating Maurizio's QR code idea, with an embedded panda image (from Wikipedia)   Smiley

Consider this my vote for PND, since I'm still too green to actually vote, as far as this site is concerned Tongue

@BachMann   Ok that's just a bit worrisome...

@Linux_Mint_Pal They're doing okay, albeit slowly since I don't exactly have a ton of hashing power at my disposal.

@vabat I'm not one to do a lot of forum posting either (let alone here on bct), at least not anymore, so I'm in the same boat  Tongue

About all I can do is mine on the multipool and mention the coin when it's on-topic.  Like the previous poster, I lack the resources and skills to do more than that.

as far as I'm concerned, Tesla is a modern marvel.
Yep, exactly.  Here's hoping that PND turns out to be a way toward getting one.

Yep, 100% free at their supercharge stations.  And if you do it at home, I seem to recall reading somewhere that it's like $4 worth of electricity to get a full charge from flat, at average US rates.
