same happens in my account, something wrong? are we mining or not?

same here, probally just a minor glitch. dont see it happen oftn but terk handles it quickly

I'm surprised that this hasn't been mentioned anywhere that I can see in these forums, so I'm finding myself in the odd position announcing for GAW  Grin

https://hashtrader.com/t/let-me-be-the-first-to-introduce-the-vaultbreaker/1220
http://www.gawminers.com/categories/products/litecoin-scrypt/by-brand/gaw-miners/generation-j-new.html

tl;dr 250-500 MH/s Scrypt miners, pre-order, ~ 3rd-4th quarter 2014 delivery, 2W per MH/s, $20 or less per MH/s, hosting options available too.

Fury and seeds will be worthless.

To be fair they are kind of worthless already Wink

Here are some numbers I looked at over the weekend. The Flower/Ensilica/whatchamacallit stuff that GAW's new miners seem to be based on are about 4 months out (October). If you look back four months to February you'll see the Gridseed cupcakes were selling close to $300 each, a staggering ~$800 per MH/s. Now you can get Zeus for ~$70-80 and SF for ~$100-110 per MH/s. That's a nearly tenfold decline in price in four months.

It's not impossible then that come October we'll have IN STOCK / NOT PRE-ORDER hardware at $10 per MH/s. No, the Fury probably won't be selling for $12, but the next one up that's ~12 MH/s could be around $100, and the SilverFish 28 MH/s could be around $300, and a handful of other vendors could pop up between now and then. Anyone getting ready to put down $20 per MH/s on preorder hardware needs to weigh it really carefully, including power consumption, inevitable profitability decline etc.

i think the best bet right now is to hold off on purchases, and then as we get closer and closer to Q3/Q4 see what equipment is out there and then make a selection from what is available.

I agree.  3 months out before you can get 1 of these new miners is way too risky with how the profitability is going down seemly faster everyday.

I am going wait a while and see what happens.

1 thing i will say about GAW is that they said they offer a full refund up untill the point of shipping. so at least  you have the option of cancelling

i posted this over on hash traders, but figured i might as well post over here just in case. my BW went up on saturday. and i have not had any complaints. thing hashes away like the monster it is. Josh and his team have come through for me and many other people as well. my pops was super excited when i showed him the UI and how much BTC was generated for him in 24 hours. my hats off to the entire GAW team.

I really liked this pool. But I always had the problem with me G-Blades, that after a few hours they started to drop to 2 MHahs per Blade no matter what i was doing. I had this Problem on no other Pool, so I had to change. I'm sorry, because everything else worked fine.

i have 2 g-blades as well and i have no such issues that you are having. been mining almost 2 months here now and my avg hashrate is 10+ mh/s

Just wanted to post here to say that GAW delivered my hosted miners today (black widows), a lil bit late (was expecting week 3 on Monday).. but hey, it's water under the bridge now... Thanks GAW (esp Luke).

dont forget about this

but i will definitly take a huge store credit in lieu on missed mining credits. looks like im about to pick up 2 BW's.

My experience with GAW Miners has been anything but pleasant thus far.
I purchased close to $6,000 in hosted Gridseed Blades from them a couple of months ago.

Since I have been using GAW Miners for their hosted Blades that I've purchased, I have to email/call support almost every other day because one my miners goes down and resetting on their miner GUI (hash.gawminers.com) does nothing.
On multiple occasions my hosted blades have been down for a more than 24 hours so I doubt the "free hosting for 1 year" is going to be worth it at this rate vs. hosting it at home.

Each time I contact GAW Miners, I typically don't see a fix for my miners until about 10-24 hours after my miner has gone down.

If I ever plan on using/buying hosted miners again, it will not be with GAW Miners, they have lost me as an ongoing customer.

Just an update to my existing experience:
As of right now, two of my hosted miners (half of my hashing power) have been down for over 4 DAYS and have not been resolved by the hosted support team (I've contacted them on three separate occasions).

i have yet to get my hosted week 3 fury up, heck i dont even have access to the ui.

Do this instead: https://hashtrader.com/t/mini-double-hash/569

i was thinking about it. but i bought this machgine for my pops for fathers day. and really want this machine up so i can show him that it works and generats real life fiat for him. also as soon as i get this machine up and running i wanna purchase one for myself.

i completely agree. while i would love to see my miners seperatly or adjust the diff. none of that matters most to me then the profitability. keep up the great job terk.

i hope its not in store credit, i have people waiting for me to send them their BTC payment. they would not be happy with in store credit. and i dont want to pay outta pocket

Have you tried writing in their forum? A handful of GAW employees are quite active there.
https://hashtrader.com/

I went there yesterday and which added more fuel to the fire when I found it was offline and still had no contact from them. In any case I'm going to step back and hope things workout. The one chat that I had last week went so well and then nothing. If I don't hear anything today I'll just cancel the order and hope it all works out the way it should.

I've heard some positive comments about Gawminers.com and maybe my situation is an exception. I hope it is.

so on monday i was pretty pissed. as i look back at it now, it really wasnt towards gaw at all. i have a BW week 3 hosted. i actually tried to cancel my order and by the time i got a hold of josh i had calmed down and realized what i was about to do.

i have had some issues with orders with GAW but they have ALWAYS came through and made things right. it sucks that i still dont my week 3 BW up and runnig yet, but honestly @ 150% compensation for lost mining time, it honestly makes more sense for me to continue to not have this machine up and running.

either way, i just wanted to publicly apologize to the Reps at GAW and to Josh himself. i was dealing with a death in the family during all this, when i should have just put it on the back burner.

Either way i have full faith in GAW and am about to order a week 4 BW.

Yes, please share  Grin

i would need to "productionize it" if i were to share (aka license or sell) my mining recommendations and/or software ...

currently it is very specific to my setup and mining hardware, i dont know if i can commit to making it ready for the public right now i have very limited free time and i wouldnt want to release something that im not fully able to support ... but i will see, perhaps if my system holds up it would be worth it to charge a small fee of the mining proceeds for it ... ill re-evaluate the effort that would be needed to make it user friendly and more sutable for the public at large.

so i read your post the other day about your results and it got my brain thinking. one of the problems with running a huge multi pool like CM or waffle is the ridiculous hashrate. if terk was to unleash the hashing power of CM on some of the newer coins it would cause a fork in a quick second. that amount of hashing power on a network that cannot sustain it will cause damage. Also because of the massive hashrate i feel that terk cannot and in turn us reap the benefits of a higher hash rate.  so i started thinking was maybe the solution was to spread out the hashrate. if people were able to set up their own multi pools and limit them say to something manageable maybe more and more people can see returns like you do.

just my thought.

this is true...

with the huge hashrate terk has here he cannot mine the smaller more profitable coins (like in the < 1 difficulty range that i can) without a massive disruption to the blockchain and way over 51% hashing power.  so he is forced to either 1) take that massive hashrate and somehow split it into smaller chunks (perhaps mining several smaller coins at the same time, splitting the hashrate amung them) or 2) limiting himself to the larget difficulties and often less profitable coins.
Well, you are completely correct. The hashrate is split up, if there are tiny coins that are profitable. Terk said this a while ago, every multipool (I think) does this.

so does he take a persentage of everyones hash rate and put that toward a coin? other wise if he just takes chuncks of hash rate from people there is a chance that some people wont mine some coin which means the profitabilty stats would be messed up. yeah probably takes a percentage of each users hash depending on coin diff. only way that makes sense to me.

Hi.. One thing I have always noticed when I mine on clever(And why I usually don't stay here long) is that it seems like the Hashrate Clever shows is a lot of times 10% to 20% lower than my actual hash rate.. Like for example right now Clever is showing me at 23 to 25 MH's but I have almost 30(29.90) MH's pointed here..  Rejects are only 2.7%

Clever reports 20.8 MH/s 24-hour Average

My Miners UI reports  29.95 Mh/s  24-hour Average

Are the hash states here not real accurate?   I know when I am on Waffle, it shows a steady 28+- MH's

I get nervous when I see part of my hashrate missing and don't really know why or where its going..  And right now its a pretty big chunk missing..

Pools cannot track hashrate exactly, they track hashrate by basing it on number of accepted shares.
Add the rejected hashed to your hashrate and you should be pretty close.
Hey Terk,

is there any issues with payouts today, i see they were sent out but, and my tx has 8 confirmations on it as of now, but i still dont see anything in my wallet.

Well, then it's obviously a problem with your wallet.

can you offer any advice to help me out. i am running multibit 0.5.18.

Use Electrum. Export your private keys and import them into electrum.

actually i just rmeoted into my machine and payment magically appeared. if i keep having issues ill switch over to electurm
