1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoS] BitcoinStake - 100% Free Airdrop Distribution on: October 31, 2017, 02:56:05 PM
Hello, guys, do you have some special bonuses for $50k+ investors?

no, there's no ICO.

you can get the coins off exchanges.

What are you planning to do to the rest of the coins? Are you planning to burn them? That would give value to the coin!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoS] LitecoinStake - 100% Free Airdrop Distribution on: October 09, 2017, 06:20:09 PM
This looks interesting. I will pm my address once I have downloaded the wallet!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Will pay 500 USD in LTC to fork Litecoin codebase on: October 09, 2017, 05:57:06 PM
I need a fork of the relatively newer releases of the Litecoin codebase, with my specifications. Changes include:
  • Cryptocurrency name (obviously)
  • Retarget times
  • Block times
  • Block reward
  • Max supply
  • Premine block on block 2
  • Etc.
As the title states, I will pay anybody 500 USD in LTC who is willing to do this for me. Please PM me if interested, and I'll give you more details.

My advice for you is that if you cannot do it by yourself, please do not proceed!

I wanted to confirm tha I just received my coins! Thank you!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there coins which you can mine with CPU? on: October 01, 2017, 05:46:48 PM
Are there coins which you could mine with CPU so that it would be profitable?
The best one right now is Monero (XMR), it is on the CryptoNight  algoritm, which is designed for the CPU mining, also there is a lot of other coins that you can mine, which are not so profitable right now, but the best way is to mine Monero, and if you want some other coin to have just buy it on exchange from the income.

This looks very interesting, I will give it a try!

Thank you!

List of prefarable CPU Coins: Aaon, Darckcoin... yet steal but among it's disadventages that you can't determine the hash speed.

Thank you! I will check these!

Are there coins which you could mine with CPU so that it would be profitable?
Oh my people!!!! are you wanna throwing your cpu into the thrash?  Please don't use your cpu to mine anything and your cpu should be burned as fast as possible. The only possible thing for you to get a penny from your cpu mine but that was involving high risk about the possibility to burn your own cpu. that was really bad idea.

No, I don't want to burn my CPU! I am looking for coins which are designed for CPU and not GPU or ASICS.

There are a lot of coins that can be mine with CPU specially bitcoin but it is not profitable for now because it can harm or burn your computers CPU.
Just try alternative way just like GPU and it can mine more types of altcoins.

Yes, I know that you could mine even BTC with CPU but it is not profitable and I also know that there is GPU option (not for BTC though). BUT my question was that is there coins which would have such POW algorithm that you could CPU.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Be Panic Of ICO Ban? on: September 05, 2017, 03:52:15 PM
No, we should not panic, ever! And besides, most of the ICOs are pure scams, so it is good that they get some bad publicity!
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with BCC on: August 04, 2017, 03:55:06 PM
I only had very few because I hold mostly alts. The few which I had in the exchanges I dumped with 0.4 (Bittrex).
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The king is already dead. on: June 16, 2017, 04:33:44 PM
ETH is just a shitcoin (and not really even a coin) with scammy hard forks and ICOs. If you don't like BTC switch to LTC!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin for 2017 ? on: April 24, 2017, 04:06:11 PM
The best one will be LTC.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin dies, what alt would you go for? on: April 08, 2017, 08:14:22 AM
I would choose LTC.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: March 29, 2017, 03:53:45 PM
I am very surprised it has survived thus far! Seriously I do not think that it has bright future.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you currently supporting, and Why? on: March 28, 2017, 04:22:00 PM
I like and support good old LTC. Fair, no scams, so enough said?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POW can it work? on: March 27, 2017, 04:12:19 PM

There are more coins that are POW then the ones you listed. Monero is one of them

So your question is if POW vs POS ? good or bad?

I like POW better then POS . It all depends how the setup is. Bitcoin POW does not work because they way it is setup big miners get bigger control of the network

A POW that is based on direct reward for example allowing you to use the network  is better then POW that is based on rewarding thirdparty like bitcoin has

I like POS over POW, but I think that POW + POS hybrid is the best!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Correct me if I am wrong on: March 26, 2017, 03:02:21 PM
I am trying to launch a coin.

My question for the members of this community is this

Does it make more sense to do a ICO or to take a 15%-20% premie and sell them as you need funds for the project.  It seems one can't go right.  You have a ICO and people roll their eyes, you do a premie and people call pump and dump.

What is the best way if you want to further develop your coin

Thank you all.

The best way to launch a coin in my opinion is through airdrop select trusted members of this community to participate to the development of your coin, ico has a bad reputation and for good reasons so stay away from launching an ico if you cannot offer good features of your coin or do not have usage of your coins.

I think that this could be a good option!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be still the best pick on: March 01, 2017, 05:13:05 PM
I was thinking about buying other coins to profit and make more BTC too as BTC grows, but I don't see a clear pick to risk my bitcoins at...

Maybe I should have bought ETH and DASH but what did I knew? Even this ZCASH crap pumped to like 30%, but how can you even foresee that?

I guess ETH is a good pick because ETH keeps getting shilled by microsoft and all those big companies but ultimately that means nothing...

I don't know what to do. I want more BTC, but I see no clear investments... fuuuck Sad(

With other coins you can make much better profit in short term than with BTC. However, BTC is the "gold".
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: March 01, 2017, 05:10:52 PM
I don't believe in eth as an alt. As for a distributed app platform the technology is interesting, but as for an alt, no.

What's an "alt"?

Alternative to Bitcoin?

Ethereum is a replacement for Bitcoin. It learned from Bitcoin's mistakes and re-architected something better.

In terms of value store, Ethereum matches Bitcoin for security/ease-of-use/etc.

In terms of value transfer, Ethereum is: faster, cheaper, more reliable, more energy efficient.

In terms of value programability, Ethereum is years ahead.

Bitcoin is a 2D blockchain technology that's getting old, is slow and expensive. Ethereum is a lightweight 3D (value store, value transfer and value programability) blockchain for the future.

I repeat myself. I do not consider Eth as a coin at all. It is an interesting technology with the smart contract concept. As a coin it totally lost its credibility after the fork.
