Does someone know whats the connector on the side opposite to the usb? Is it a supplemental power device or a usb for stacking these?

It looks like it is for connecting directly to the USB headers on a motherboard.

Difficulty rarely dips below price for this reason.

WHat?

Quebecers have the signal honor of being one of only two nationalities who have defeated the US in war.
It was actually the British army who won that war.

Just placed a bet.  I like the design.  Very simple.
One small thing, Montreal Alouettes vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats is a Canadian football game.
You have a soccer ball next to it.

Do you realize how false your sentence is?
Actually I don't. Maybe I'm just stupid. So you can still send I0coins?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 28, 2011, 09:17:41 PM
if someone buys them, they have value even if they are nothing more than digital paper weights right now.
but read a page back or two, paper weights might actually turn back into currency soon.
Yes, you are right. Demand sets the price.
But the only way to trade I0coins now is to send your wallet.dat.
This was supposed to be a joke currency and people got too serious about it.
The founder has disappeared. Is I0coins dead?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 28, 2011, 09:00:50 PM
Is there any value to these coins?
Can you even make a transaction?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Possible power issue when card is under stress... but where? on: August 28, 2011, 08:47:33 PM
What brand is the PSU?
Measure the V(drop) across the 12V line during load.
Use a voltmeter not monitoring software.
GPUs don't use the 5V line.
13  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying i0coin with BTC on: August 28, 2011, 07:13:29 PM
I have 844 I0coins for sale. How much bitcoins are you willing to pay for them?

15  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I killed my 5970 on: August 27, 2011, 05:42:26 AM
The Accelero cooler may have killed it.
Accelero 5970 coolers have been known to damage the DVI ports and this is from properly installing the cooler using the instructions.
I was looking for something for my 5970 because the fan rattles and is really loud.
Which is another common problem with reference 5970s.
This Accelero cooler is the only air cooler I could find but, after hearing all the problems with it I decided not to buy it.
It's a shame because the only other option is water cooling and this would cost about as much as another card.
Then again a water loop is something I have wanted to do for a while.
16  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 1500w silverstone psu safe for 4 x 5970? on: August 25, 2011, 12:23:29 PM
They are about 300W each so it should be enough.
Check the maximum 12V output for the PSU.
17  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitHopper: Python Pool Hopper Proxy on: August 25, 2011, 03:55:58 AM
I may be missing something obvious, but

I put ~400 shares into the last btcworld.de block and I was credited for 0.

Just a heads up.

Edit:  Worker shows up as active, i'm attributed with shares *during* the round, just afterwards it says 0.

The same thing happened to me. I mined over 10,000 shares over the last two completed blocks there and received nothing.
My balance still says zero. Their stats are messed up too. Every language gives a different total share number.
Probably best to stay away from this pool.

I talked to them on Monday and they said they had 5 in stock.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [OPEN LETTER] to Thomas Nasakioto on: August 20, 2011, 01:56:42 AM
Could somebody tell me why BitCoin have any value at all?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 20, 2011, 01:37:28 AM
Its the same version as before but compiled again, both versions (beta&stable) includes the source code used to compile on the src folder Smiley

Edit: Oh, and used static libraries instead of shared. Also, if you want to view the changes that i've made on the stable version, you can diff the source with the 0.3.24 version of the main bitcoin client.
Does this new version work on 64bit linux? I couldn't compiler original build.
I had to run the I0coin server off if my Windows 7 laptop.
Maybe I'm making some newb mistakes.
