Tomorrow SPorting Lisbon hosts Rio Ave; what are your predictions ?
I believe Sporting will win the game. Despite the fact that Rio Ave is a difficult team, it tends to make games difficult for the big players. Sporting itself has a history of losing points to Rio Ave. But, they will play at home and will have the support of their fans, I believe they will win. You are correct, Sporting Lisbon won the game at home, with 2 goals and a cleansheet. The goals were scored by Paulinho and Edwards and the win takes Sporting Lisbon to the top of the Portuguese League with 16 points.

Bailly was also very good. He is the kind of right stopper I want to see in Beşiktaş. For the first time since Pepe.
Baillly is a very good defender, competent one too; so many times i wonder how successful he would be as a footballer if he wasn't injured all the time. If only he wasn't made of glass, he would have been a very top top defender. Happy to see him flourishing in Beşiktaş!

Porto should be a straight forward win with over 1.5 goals as Porto look to build on their start to the season. I expect Benfica to bounce back from their first loss of the season to win away at Portimonense. Boavista should get a draw against Braga and Sporting Lisbon will also win with more than 2 goals.
Very good weekend i would say, Porto got a win at home scoring 2 goals, Benfica won away at Portimonense with 3 goals to 1, recovering from their defeat last weekend; while Braga thrashed Boavista with good 4 goals to 1 (i missed this entirely hahahah). Tomorrow SPorting Lisbon hosts Rio Ave; what are your predictions ?

Match day in the Polish League
Radomiak Radom - Puszcza Both teams are struggling and closer to the relegation spots; what do you reckon would happen? i think a draw is the closest result.
Slask Wroclaw - Piast Gliwice This game is a tricky one for the weekend, with Wroclaw winning 5 in a row and Gliwice having 4 consecutive draws, do you think league leaders Slask Wroclaw can get a win at home against such opponent ?
Cracovia - Pogon Szczecin With Cracovia above Szczecin on the standings with only a point; this tie is anyone that wins goes higher up on the standings. I think over 1.5 is the safest bet here.
Lech Poznan - Stal Mielec Both teams are just a point apart like Cracovia - Pogon Szczecin tie; do you think any of the teams can nick a win ?

As I said before that statistics and feelings can have a big influence in determining the results and I feel very happy that my predictions were correct. Maybe there are so many friends here who doubt that Nice will win and I still stand by my stance of favoring Nice. This was proven by the narrow victory in the minute of injury time which succeeded in securing 3 points against Monaco.
You are right Folarin Balogun missing 2 penalties in the game between Monaco and Nice kept the Nice team in the game, and also ensured that the Nice is motivated to try and put more energy into winning the game and thats just what happened. A late winner for Nice deservedly to go top of the league. Do you think Nantes vs Lorient can give us more of the same excitement in early kick off today?

Theres little attention for friday night games in the la liga.
Deportivo Alaves 0-2 Athletic Club
Athletic Club won away from home in their 6th game of the season, with a goal and assist from Inaki Williams who ensured that Athletic Club cruised to victory without much difficulty. The win means Athletic Club is now 3rd on the la liga standings atleast for the night.
Whats your scoreline prediction for the big game of the weekend as Real Madrid hosts Atletico Madrid?

Nagelsmann is a good coach and his time at Bayern was not bad, he was not having any problems with managing the team, he was doing fine and winning matches as they have always done but i am still surprised why he sacked all of a sudden by the club, I thought coaches are sacked when they are performing poorly and mismanaging the players but his case was different.
You are right, Nagelsmann sack was more to do with politics than actual footballing reasons and Bayern Munich paid for it too with poor performances across the pitch in the champions league, dvb cup and nearly the bundesliga. I hope Nagelsmann hasn't been too rusty because he is out of job and can briing out the best in the German squad ahead of EURO 2024. Excellent recruitment there by the Germany national team board.

Barcelona has started on a very good note I must say as they not only performed well they also secured a lot of goals for themselves which could be useful in the future just should Incase the need arises, it was an easy game for them tho and they did capitalized on it to keep themselves ahead in the game which can be considered a good move.
Barcelona started on a good note; likewise Joao Felix who is enjoying time in the catalona side after a failed loan spell at Chelsea. With 3 points in the bag, Xavi will look to lead his side to the round of 16 of the champions league since he took over at Barcelona.

PSV is not a favorite against Arsenal, especially if Arsenal plays at home. Arsenal have performed well at the start of this season even though they have also struggled to win their last 4 matches in the Premier League. This will be a good match for both of them considering their meeting record in the last 4 Champions League matches. Arsenal and PSV both have 1 win and 2 draws and 1 loss each, so this will be a tough match for both.
In the champions league; there are no favorites in the group stage; anyone can beat anyone, anyone can defeat anyone. Also in the champions league; there is nothing like league form, you can be on a 20 game winning streak in your league; and get defeated in the champions league. Arsenal needs a top performance to compete in the champions league.

Joao Felix firmly believes that his playing style aligns with Xavi's tactics and will help revive his career. He's confident that Xavi will utilize him effectively. Barcelona could really benefit from wingers with his passing abilities. Let's hope he can demonstrate his skills and rediscover his previous potential. Here's hoping it all works out well.
I do not think Joao Felix loan deal with yield desired results; not only is the player washed up form wise; he has also lost his grits and early promise since moving to Atletico Madrid. The bigger question will be that, can he rediscover his sef? Can Xavi bring out the shining star Joao Felix?

It's not the best comparison though. Playing against Osasuna and Real Madrid are completely different things. I didn't like how Barca played today. They should've been more productive. Lewa doesn't look like he's concentrated in the games this season. The red card and penalty saved them. It could've been unnecessary two points loss. Xavi should use international break to fix problems.
I think the Barcelona problem is creativity related; and with recent injuries to talisman; it is becoming difficult for Xavi guys to create more chances for Lewandoski. With Cancelo at the helm of affairs'; their performances will only improve. I won't blame Lewandoski solely because he isn't getting any creativity or chances until Cancelo first cross today. It will definitely get better for Barcelona.

I will ofcourse be investing in bitcoin once agains if it goes low and down towards a very cheap price; bitcoin is bullish on the long term; so ofcourse when it is very bearish; buying the bears comes to mind alot. Do your research and always find a good entry to buy bitcoin.

Fulham 0 - 0 West Ham
A drab draw with neither team able to get the winner in London; it was a match marred by poor refereeing and var decisions. I would never deem that encounter of soucek with mitrovic as violent conduct; it was a harsh decision and unneccesary waste of time. What do you think about Soucek red card ?
