1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Help] I cannot get full power of my rig. on: May 03, 2014, 03:43:13 PM
Heres mine for 4x MSI 280x.
Code:
"expiry" : "28",
"queue" : "1",
"scan-time" : "7",
"failover-only" : true,
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin",
"no-submit-stale" : true,
"auto-fan" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"gpu-engine" : "850,1080,1060,1050",
"gpu-fan" : "30-60,30-80,30-80,30-80",
"gpu-memclock" : "1400,1500,1500,1500",
"intensity" : "13,13,13,13",
"gpu-powertune" : "-20,-20,-20,-20",
"temp-target" : "75,75,75,75",
"temp-overheat" : "80,80,80,80",
"temp-cutoff" : "85,85,85,85",

"worksize" : "256,256,256,256",
"lookup-gap" : "2,2,2,2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8193,8193,8193,8191"
First is underclocked coz i put my finger in the fan, and now it can only run at 60% speed. For all of them i checked different gpu-engines and tc.
First try 1020/1030/1040/1050/1060/1070 engine and choose the best, then try 8191/8192/8193 tc.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash.com - rig owners needed - get paid more than mining on multipool! on: April 27, 2014, 05:38:47 PM
Are people consistently getting over 0.01btc/mh/day when running 24x7 on this or are there significant periods of making less than that and/or no work being available and thus having to switch to backup pools specified in your configs?
currently ppl are getting ~0.0052584/MH/day, it depends on bids.

Ok, I'll bite. I have 62Mh that I can point to nicehash. Where can I find the current BTC/Mh/Day payout. Also, can you explain in a bit more detail how to set the price of my rental in the password field? An example would help.
1. http://prntscr.com/3dyzma , simply divide it by 1000 to get price per MH.
2. for example this in .bat
Code:
-p p=6.0
or this in .conf
Code:
"pass" : "p=6.0",
will set the price to 0.006BTC/Mh/day minimum.

Check if CPU is placed in mobo as it should be. I nearly sent my mobo back to shop because it was a bit(really a bit) loose. All the fans were on and it seemed like its running, but there was nothing on monitor.

I have in the room 2x R9 290 and 2x R9 280x so I know what I am talking about Wink
R9 270 will cost about $180 and hashes max 480kH/sec, one Gridseed costs $110 and hashes 360kHs, do the math yourself...

Then your cards seriously have a problem. It should not produce that much excess heat.

Also, may I ask, where can you find a gridseed for $110?

hardware: 4x r9 280x with an Athlon II x2 240e(2 cores)
With -ss 2 my 4ch increased from 103k to 120k, while cpu usage drop from 83% to 50%, nice!
