First of all i want to say this thread is pretty much fun to read, especialy the Picture postings  Grin.

So, lets get serious now. I want to mention my thoughts about the Price development of Darkcoin .

The technical Analyse ( very unaccurat!! Says nothing about longterm development):

The Price is clearly going down right now. After we tapped the 25 again huge numbers of holder with little DRK amounts dumped.
That was a cleary Profittake of those who bought low and Panicselling of those who bought weeks ago when price was at alltime high and missed to sell before crash.( i observed the market myself  for now 3 days. And everybody can see in the Tradehistory more whales bought since last 4 days than sold.)

Soo the more price is falling the more there is resistance build up by new whales , Masternode setupper, and the previous Profittaker who settle up for another ride ...because hey they have nothing to lose.

So in a NUTSHELL alltime highs and alltime low are very strong resistance and they flip the trend very hard , so it always take several rebounds to break through them through. One of the reasons why i hold DRK is because... we reached the alltime high again after a week killer Dump that has to means something.

First of all Bitfinex. This exchange didnt even add Dogecoin although DOGE had a alltime Marketcap of 80million (DRK - ATH --> 68mill).
Dont want to say DOGE is a bad coin , also Shibes are very kind a community , much charity, very wow, such hype, how moon...but it over
and bitfinex knew its just another Named litecoin. Its scrypte its yellow thats what it is. We clearly see they think something else about DRK.
This is definitly a push for DRK in longterm PLUS its publicity PLUS it opens more money can flow in the Dark..

so 1+ for Bitfinex.

Cryptsy... dont ...just dont spread FUD pls. But yes YOU!! have to care about your deposit , this is recommendet for every echange no matter how good or bad reputation it has. If you care about your coin hold them on a Flash encrypted and implanted under your skin ( or just put it in your Safe ...cause you might get an infection and die..)

1+ for US being careful with our money and give a shhhh... on fiat money regulated by some hungry financial Elites...trust me i study economics and ingeneerscience , i know what Banks do they are mighty...they are Bad. For example Forexmarket (equivalent of cryptocoin market)
has a daily volum of 5trillion USD->http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_exchange_market! Crypto-Market has only 100million , taking bitcoin as like 90% of it. Dude..we as cryptocoin nerds arnt even scratching the wealth of the world yet. That why no Wallstreet , London or Frankfurt Trade us yet...will change soon you will see Wink.

Darkcoin - Litecoin :
First we have to leave NXT behind us.. but we will soon i think. We even over took it while it was Rising too.
I have made one year ago a corelation between cryptocoin price , time , diff. that looks like this->

Bitcoin the Mother (yes its a she) of Cryptocoins was implemented in 2009 since than it rises in price in a average of a factor 10 anualy,
while network diff went up by a factor of 100 anualy just few months before.

Litecoin always followed Bitcoin (recently it didnt because Darkcoin tookover tradevolume) it has a implementing gap of 2 years (2011)
still climbed up near to Bitcoin , it found a nice place on arround 0,025 BTC --> its 1/40 -> like "1" is one litecoin / "4" is a doublehalving for have a MAX Coin amount of 84million LTC (4 time more than Bitcoin) and  * "10^1" for beeing implemented 2 years later.

Darkcoin follows nobody because of the different blockreward system , masternode reward system and so on.
MAX amount in 2050+ -> 22million (nearly like bitcoin) but!! there are 3 times less DRK than BTC ( ~4million to ~12million).
Darkcoin opens new using opportunitys-> Darksend. Why it maybe could be used as the first real Substitude to Bitcoin with my estimated relative
price of -> 0,3 BTC if it takesover Litecoins Position and 3 BTC if it goes equal to Bitcoin because of being the DarkBitcoin which really
provides some anonyme Transaction which gives people some of their long forgotten Rights back. I dont know how it is in other coutries but in Germany we have the right to have the ability to separete our public and descrete life which is major indicator for freedom in a society, more and more we get rid of freedom by some ....organisations. And people are willing take it back and they will take Darkcoin!!

I dont know the dev. team , neither if they are good nor if they are competent (pls somebody sum. me up something about them and their plans.).And yes, its true the core devs. of Bitcoin are getting huge support.
But pls stop talking about " Script was copy/pastet bla bla bla...everything is stolen bla bla bla" EVERY Coin is a copypaste and there some
core implementations which are just good enough to be used again. Thats why bitcoin is a TEST which every coin is.
So calm down People Darkcoin is in the core as good Bitcoin. Plus it has learing from Bitcoins failures in the past . Plus hey...it has
Darksend.

So yeah.. take a seat on the Couche , quote me if you agree with my thoughs , if not ignor...  but on the long run i say:

The Dark Knight is Rising. And not just him its the whole Cryptoscene have to rise , i wish we had a Socialnetwork in which we could organise our self localy, regionaly and nationaly to show the world who we are and what we want. Because i feel very lonely when i talk to my friends about cryptocurrencies and their are just looking at me like Coala bears. LTC prices are going down and down (0.021 -> 0.020 -> 0.019 -> 0.018 etc - as I had predicted it would happen). Instead of being BTC-on-steroids, it's losing money for BTC holders who bought it.

It's fair to say DRK is a catalyst. It's Platinum to Bitcoin's gold - but it doesn't need to be marketed as such. The "Dark" element can stand on its own pretty well combined with a good anonymity system.

BTC: The "gold"... The benchmark. The one constant that everyone goes to or uses as a measure. The property of gold is to be inert and resistant to corrosion for ages - as is Bitcoin. Altcoins come and go, altcoins evolve, Bitcoin stays the same and rules the market no matter what. Rich people hoard it, just like gold bars.

LTC: The "silver"... Silver is reflective and conductive (fast transfers). However it tarnishes over time and loses it's "bling". It is also more abundant than gold (29m LTC vs 13m BTC). Silver coins are "brilliant" when exiting the mint but now we are in the tarnishing phase.

DRK: The "platinum"... Platinum is a catalyst and is used in specific applications for its catalytic properties. Doesn't corrode no matter what. It's also mined at much lesser quantities than gold (scarcer) at a ratio of 150 tons (platinum) to 2500 tons (gold) to 25000 tons (silver). Mining production and scarcity of DRK adequately positions it as the platinum. (4.4mn coins vs 13mn BTCs)

The whole point of Darkcoin is that the coins become fungible. You can't link them to anything, so they become eCash. If you can't link the transaction to anything, you can't be accused of anything.

Besides, the SilkRoad bitcoins were recently sold by the US government.
