I promise you this is not a scam, I sell stuff on ebay and use paypal all the time. You can check out my ebay profile as well, there is no way I would gather that much positive ratings and stars if I scammed people. My ebay name is bosstyson. Also, on paypal if you send money as a "gift" you cannot challenge the transaction after the money is picked up. Thus I can send it like that if the person prefers. I am more worried about getting scammed by someone else. I know someone out there has 50 or 60 BTC and also has a paypal account. I can send the money right now and then just send the BTC to my mtgox.com address and we are all good. I will then send an extra $50 for the hassle and for trusting me. I have never scammed anyone in my life. I hate that it's so prevalent on the internet, not cool.

Ok here is the deal, I need to use my credit card to buy bitcoins and this seems to be the only way because Paypal has my card saved and authorized to send any payment. I will send as a "Gift" so that I cannot challenge the payment after it is picked up. This is no way a scam.
