1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: February 16, 2021, 04:40:33 PM
If we are talking about investing now in bitcoin, I think it can't make someone richest in the world, because it is too expensive now to buy BTC for ~47k dollars, but if someone invested a lot of money in bitcoin like in 2009-2011 period, then it will be the richest in the world.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: February 12, 2021, 04:20:41 PM
My opinion is that BTC is not ready to be a world wide currency, and there are some reasons like this is a fiat currency and has a high risk of falling price of it and doesn't have a value like gold or other minerals that can maintain it's value. Also, it has limited amount of coins and this will be reason of high value of bitcoin. So, bitcoin now, is not ready to be a world wide currency.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 06:05:20 PM
Bitcoin have some vital disadvantages like your are not anonymous using this currency, dependence from investors and high risk of deflation caused by limited amount of coins(21 millions). Also, a big disadvantage consists absence of protection from the buyer side, you don't have guarantees that the price of Bitcoin won't fall 5 minutes after you buy it.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think need bitcoin blockchain improvement? on: February 03, 2021, 04:06:48 PM
I think bitcoin can be improved by making transactions faster and adding some privacy to them or put some conditions to see these transactions like having some BTC on your wallet or mining history to be sure that your data is partially protected.

8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is skipping meal a bad habit? on: February 01, 2021, 07:35:36 PM
When you skip meals, you deny your body what it needs. Some people skip meals to save calories, while others claim they’re just too busy to eat. Yes, it is a bad habit, because skipping meals can cause your metabolism to slow down, which can cause weight gain or make it harder to lose weight.

Had you tried to reinstall it? or update drivers to a more stable version, up-to-date drivers should fix your problem, if not, your GPU is broken or have factory issues.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies and inflation on: January 31, 2021, 07:51:44 PM
Cryptocurrency is an alternative method of inflation protection which should not be overlooked. While the comparison between gold and crypto has some nuances – the broader theme of Bitcoin as a protective hedge against inflation has broken through – especially after the BTC halving we saw in early May.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins are not actual fiat on: January 31, 2021, 01:18:42 PM
Like other cryptocurrencies, stablecoins are digital currencies with no physical existence, and can be traded in exchanges across the world. Many stablecoins are collateralized at a 1:1 ratio with certain fiat currencies, such as the U.S. Dollar or the Euro, which can be traded on exchanges. Backed stablecoins are subject to the same volatility and risk associated with the backing asset. If the backed stablecoin is backed in a decentralized manner, then they are relatively safe from predation, but if there is a central vault, they may be robbed, of suffer loss of confidence.

14  Economy / Economics / Re: Will President Joe Biden be good for business? on: January 30, 2021, 09:52:24 PM
Biden will try to repair trade relations with allies that Trump sundered with such ill-advised gambits as tariffs on their products in the name of U.S. national security. He will rejoin the Paris climate accord, but, to the consternation of his green supporters, he says he won’t try to shut down fracking for shale oil and natural gas or adopt the liberals’ Green New Deal. He may step up antitrust enforcement, which would be bad for the targets of government lawsuits but potentially good for their smaller rivals. Biden’s earliest priority must and will be getting a grip on the Covid‑19 pandemic. For business, Trump’s greatest failing was to prioritize economic growth over human lives by playing down the coronavirus. That had the unintended consequence of harming both lives and livelihoods: Businesses ranging from restaurants to airlines are in worse shape than they would have been if the administration had combated the virus earlier and more aggressively.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Burned Bitcoins on: January 30, 2021, 09:46:04 PM
Depending upon the implementation, miners are allowed to burn the native currency or the currency of an alternate chain, such as Bitcoin. In exchange, they receive a reward in the native currency token of the blockchain. You can send out transactions to the network that will burn your own cryptocurrency coins.

17  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 30, 2021, 03:44:33 PM
There is sustained and growing interest in the likes of Bitcoin from both retail and institutional investors. They are now increasingly handling the assets as they would any other asset in the portfolio –for example, sometimes profit-taking, sometimes reinvesting, using the volatility to their advantage, and using these alternatives to help with all-important diversification.
These mainstream, normalised investor strategies demonstrate that cryptocurrencies must come into the regulatory tent and be held to the same standards as the rest of the financial system. Volatility in the crypto market, as in all financial markets, is not necessarily a bad thing for investors and can be capitalised for their long-term financial gain. Harnessed effectively, it can be a very powerful strategy.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to lose weight? on: January 30, 2021, 01:35:39 PM
The 16/8 intermittent fasting plan is one of the most popular styles of fasting for weight loss. The plan restricts food consumption and calorie-containing beverages to a set window of 8 hours per day. It requires abstaining from food for the remaining 16 hours of the day.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: January 29, 2021, 09:31:21 PM
If you live in developed country, you must have a bank account to have electric billed, water billed, credit cards, to rent a house or Apartment you must have “BANK information” showing credit risks. Cellphone, have to have credit card for account or use a pre-paid limited access phone. If you apply for a job, how will you cash the checks? Most PayCheck cashing places charge a % of check as commission.
So if you live where you can barter, or use cash at all times, and only have a check once in a while, sure no bank account. If you live in a city, you must get a bank account.
