God will not give this right to me, I will use this right to destroy the people I hate. Hahaha I won't destroy the world, I want to live a good life

Sometimes I learn baking techniques, sometimes I go to fitness. Free time is of course to do something you like
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are subtle red flags at a job interview that say "working here would suck"? on: February 01, 2021, 06:35:23 AM
Jobs where the expectations of the position aren't clear. The person hiring you should be able to give a clear idea of your responsibilities are day to day in a practical way. It shows that the company understands what it wants out of the position.

I've worked a couple positions that had a really hard time figuring out who was supposed to do what that lead to a lot of confusion and both of them had this in the interviews. If the company you're working for can't define what success in that position looks like you won't be able to either.
usually its hr that doesn't know and is putting out the job description. sometimes that just shows that hr and management don't really talk a lot, or hr isn't always on site. could be red flag, could not be...

Learn a language at a basic level - learn the 50 most used verbs in present, past and future tense and go from there, you'll be able to communicate basic shit v quickly.

Listen to podcasts - for markets I recommend The Exchange, unreal for hot takes and daily updates

Hostility towards raises. Rewarding your existing employees is almost always cheaper than hiring new. Ive had a manager that scoffed at a single 3% raise for someone who had no raise for 5 years. Good luck hiring a new person with that experience and for less money. There’s a reason why job hopping gets you more money, and it’s not because hiring new is cheaper.

I was a student. It was the first day of school. There were six of us who were late. The reason: the school bus stop was moved to a new location. We all piled into my mother's car. We went to the principal's office. The office manager said notice letters were sent to us, so she checked her log. The notices were never sent out.
Once at my bus stop in middle school, the bus #47 (not our bus) rolled up and slowed down, the driver opened the door without stopping, and said “I’ll be back!” The bus was completely full and she could not fit us. That was at 7:20. The 10 or so kids waited until 9:00 and no bus ever came. We all went home to try to and find rides to school. I finally got to school at 10:30.

Apparently I was the only one who showed up. The office lady did not believe my story and I was marked late.
7  Other / Off-topic / If covid 19 became a pandemic in 1990 , how would events have played differently on: January 30, 2021, 08:02:30 AM
The sad truth is that in some places this still happened in 2020. I work with some school districts that spent all spring handing out packets to parents every other week because they don't have reliable internet or a device. These happen to be in poor urban areas but this is true in rural areas as well.

My Couch. I moved out of my moms house last year (2019 so no covid) and I always wanted a good couch. I tested so much. I went to so many funiture stores. Looked at so many different models. And then choose mine. Its actually from Ikea. Three seats and long enough to let someone sleep on it. In a grey but I saw they were also having a black cover so I am thinking about getting that one. Extremely comftable. I wanted a couch where you could chill out and love how fluffy it is without losing the ability to sit on it. In some couches you are not able to lean on the back and still have a straight back. You can sit on the back board and the armrests. They are flat so you can also put a cup of tea on them. Its also not too low so you dont feel like sitting on the ground (which I do strangely often compared to my love for this couch) but you can let yourself fall onto that damn thing! It also looks easy and simple.

So I dont want the suggestion of someone who tried a LOT of couches and happens to be me then buy the Vimle couch from Ikea.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you join Bitcoin due to Musk's tweet, remember to DCA!!! on: January 30, 2021, 06:57:04 AM
So you say we buy it and stack it and we use it in the future when we are ready? I’ve always wondered how I enter this community. I feel like you guys are the wolfs of the Wall Street internet world lol. I got $100 Bitcoin on Gemini, you say a good start is to buy whenever I can & save it?

I'm relatively new to BTC but from what i've gathered of it; It works like stock trading but shouldn't be treated like stock trading. BTC is an almost guaranteed thing for the forseeable future (decades) and it's a great currency to invest in like you would with a savings account, just btc has better (albeit volatile) "interest".

Shit can still happen so never pour your life funds into it. I just put a couple dollars (literally) a week into it. If trends keep up and you hold - you're almost assured to have a decent financial net built up in a few years.

I think I can do what I want now, so I am very satisfied. Of course, all the foundations are within the legal limit
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to lose weight? on: January 29, 2021, 08:12:47 AM
For me, losing weight is much easy than gaining weight.
The fastest way so far based in my experience is doing WATER FAST. In just 2-3 days of fasting, you'll observe that you'll lost pounds. But I'm warning you (although it leads to a healthy body), WATER FASTING is dangerous if you don't know the process.
After how many days doing the process, your body will tell when will be the right time to eat and your appreciation of healthy foods will start to grow.
But in the end, the key in losing weight: strong determination and self-discipline.
Me too, but I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not old enough to gain weight, maybe I won’t think so when I’m 50.

Yes, but those imaginative directors and dedicated actors are more important
