@ rgenito . If you are so insanely popular why is your bitcointalk ANNOUNCEMENT thread just three pages long after 2.5 years?  Not saying you are dodgy but you don't seem to have any traction here.  Is there another thread I am missing?

Well... to be fair, the buyer experience is straight-forward.  You make a deposit into an account, and depending on the seller's turn-around time (they have to confirm the deposit was made and from there WoC handles the rest) you can have your coins in moments.  If  for whatever reason you do make a deposit into some scammer's account and you can at least prove that you indeed made payment into the correct account, WoC can decide how to resolve and you have some sort of recourse.  In my opinion this provides an excellent service for buyers.

However, as a SELLER, this market place is filled with fraud and low profit.  I get multiple text messages of fraudulent deposits i.e. a text message received saying that a deposit was made when in fact no deposit was made.  These texts often come during non-banking hours as late/early as 10pm/2am.  Meanwhile, your coins go into a pending status and no longer available on the WoC market for trade.  This is a problem and unfortunately is where most of your coins may end up:  in cold storage and credited as pending.

This is combined with the number of fraudsters who now have account and other personal info.  Not the end of the world, but perhaps explains the lack of traction/following.

Good riddance.

Sorry, why are you bashing the other member for trying to point out good investment advice?

Thanks everyone for their support! Please keep in mind the free miner is limited one per household.

We're closing accounts of those who attempt to abuse this offer. You're always free to purchase miners on Hashie.

There is little point in trying to sign up for multiples, as that will get all of your free miners revoked.

what pool is it mining at?

We pay out according to the Bitcoin difficulty, and the expected earnings for your hashpower with no pool fees. This provides us with flexibility on how we assign our hashpower Smiley

On average, you will receive 3-5% higher payouts compared to a 0% fee pool, as we pay for orphans, and we pay PPS instead of PPLNS.

-Sahra

Lol how can you determine a household?  This sounds like a 110% legit SCAM

You need to fix on the main page of the website it says $4.51 per 10gh but when you log in and go to the store page it says $4.91 so which one is it?

One other thing which is a bit of alarming is you are hiding your whois information - https://www.namecheap.com/domains/whois/results.aspx?domain=hashie.co ... why?

Hi tilray,

As you can see in our purchase page, we offer volume discounts for large purchases. The highest public tier is 8%, which is $4.51 per 10 GH.

Our homepage says that prices start from $4.51. The base price is $4.90 per 10 GH Smiley

We have private WHOIS for operational security purposes. For example, you may have heard that BTCGARDEN, another mining company, faced serious extortion efforts. Many sites including Bitcointalk use whoisguard - it is enabled by default on Namecheap after all.

-Sahra

Your site says "starting at" $4.51.  This is why this is misleading.

Hmmm.... my spider-sense is tingling pretty hard on this one...   Huh

The offer for the free miner seems to good to be true... but then you can't withdraw any coins without first putting in at least $10.  And your website address is super super super super young.  Like 17 days young...  Where are you guys located?  Why not allow people to withdraw their free coins since it's their free miner?

If you guys do stick around and don't vanish as so many of these companies have, then maybe allow people to get their free coins with the free miner.
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Last Warning-- Avoid KnC on: May 23, 2014, 06:41:16 PM
Hey Guys--

I can honestly say KnC is a HUGE waste of time.  For the time you'll spend sourcing PSUs and surfing through their broken forums to find solutions for your hardware aches and software pains, you can easily purchase a true plus & play system from BitMain.  Trust me on this, these guys are simply trying to make a quick buck while mining is a hot topic.  If we ignore them then hopefully they will soon go the way of Butterfly Labs.  BitMain on the other hand has an extremely high level of customer support as they even have somewhat of a distribution center in the US that handles all international shipments arriving from China.  After the units pass their quality control, only then are the units shipped to their final destination in the US.  Not to mention they go above and beyond with customer service... even going as far as to help with units that aren't even their making.

To be clear:

KnC units do not ship with PSUs
KnC units come in several pieces that you will have to assemble yourself
A fair amount of units arrive damaged
They are tight fuckers and will not kindly offer any refunds unless forced to

I don't work for BitMain or KnC but have had experiences with both units.  Avoid Avoid Avoid KnC.
