Here is the email I sent to GUARDA regarding the matter... hopefully they do something about it!
You'll have to await their response, while waiting you may consider the suggestion by odolvlobo.
*Edit: Just saw your message. Congrats on recovering your funds.

well that email was a waste of time hahaha, but at least they are now aware of that issue
Not a waste of time at all. This would help them fix the issue as a lot of users who fall into that situation may not have a community to ask for help and abandon their funds completely.

For sure man! thanks for your help. Cannot believe we pulled off the impossible (almost) haha!

Help display your screenshot image.

OP, do you have a PK of that bitcoin address ?
I think you should try the steps suggested by @odolvlobo, so that you can get your doge after doing it if the suggestion works. This is the first case I have come across, I hope you are lucky enough to have your doge back. It is clear that the bug must be fixed by the wallet developer.

OMG!!!! IT WORKED!!!!! I got the Private key from my BITCOIN wallet and added a new DOGE Wallet using the BTC private key! holy shit ! lmao! well that email was a waste of time hahaha, but at least they are now aware of that issue

It is possible that there is a bug in the wallet.
This is a possibility. I found this thread about a similar issue: [RESOLVED] Atomic wallet. Bitcoin sent to a Dogecoin address....
In this case Bitcoins were sent to a doge address and instead of the wallet giving an invalid address warning, it converted the address to a BTC compatible one and validated the transaction.

Sent you telgram message as I don't have permission to private dm you as a newbie lol
Replied. As I said, you'll be better off posting (*what details you can share) publicly, so the community can offer assistance.

This seems to be what has happened. It seems to be that the BTC address I entered when sending from my DOGE wallet was obviously not accepted and it somehow has changed it to a random BTC address instead of giving an error.

Here is TXID:
f60bc86bc7b475479a7e4250f2ea1795fe3b68f217ded0dd7e0365c97442a8bc

My DOGE address of which I sent from:
DHpy9KQguDKNfv8tHMBJwnnGcPx2DCncMk

The BTC address I sent too:
12n1ZixhsJYtYx1kKaVBZmJdyxLQbTMRiF

The random address it was changed too:

I sent DOGE coin from my GUARDA desktop wallet to my GUARDA BTC wallet address...

Is there anyway to get this back or redirect it somehow to my DOGE wallet ?

Any help would be appreciated!

Just like on what others been mentioning on here is that its not possible for a certain transactions to go through on sending up DOGE on BTC wallet address and if you do make use of
non-custodial ones then this one will show some error but since you do talk about Guarda then they are the only ones who can solve out this type of problem.

You can sent out support ticket: https://guarda.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

or on social media mediums
https://www.facebook.com/GuardaWallet/
https://t.me/guarda_community

or this one
https://guarda.com/contacts/

Thanks for this. I will do this

But I dont understand why it completed that transaction if it was not a DOGE address I sent it too.
Do you have a txid? Is your wallet custodian or closed source? Afaik, BTC addresses would be invalid and such a transaction should never be completed as they are two different blockchains.
If it's a custodian wallet, contact their support and request for their assistance.

Sent you telgram message as I don't have permission to private dm you as a newbie lol

Based on what I have experienced, it's like you can't get your coins anymore...
Dogecoin and Bitcoin have different networks, so when you send the wrong coins to the address ordered, the coins will automatically collide and disappear. *sorry for your loss

DAMNIT!!! Well I've contacted GUARDA support. I'll wait for their response and see what they say. Not getting my hopes up though. Thanks for your help and information.

I sent DOGE coin from my GUARDA desktop wallet to my GUARDA BTC wallet address...

You can't send DOGE to a BTC address. Dodgecoin addresses start with a 'D' and no BTC address is a valid dogecoin address.

I understand that. As I said it was an accident. But I dont understand why it completed that transaction if it was not a DOGE address I sent it too.

EDIT:
Issue has been resolved!!!

Thanks to the help of everyone on this thread, I couldn't have managed it without you!

and HUGE thanks to user "obolvlodo" for finding the solution (see below quote)

The BTC address I sent too:
12n1ZixhsJYtYx1kKaVBZmJdyxLQbTMRiF

The random address it was changed too:
D6v76yuMAiTB5xCM4AUk7XUEs64hws4HF5

I did some investigating...

The wallet should not have let you you send to that address. There is a bug in the wallet software -- it is not correctly validating the address that you entered.

Here are the address details:

Code:
12n1ZixhsJYtYx1kKaVBZmJdyxLQbTMRiF

Prefix:      0
PubKeyHash:  137b50a5faf530745e15d6f4cf756898cdcdc5fc
Check:       8c45d8f8

D6v76yuMAiTB5xCM4AUk7XUEs64hws4HF5

Prefix:      1e
PubKeyHash:  137b50a5faf530745e15d6f4cf756898cdcdc5fc
Check:       c25f3f48

The fact that the pubkeyhash is the same for both indicates that the wallet software accepted the bitcoin address and used it in the transaction as if it were a valid dogecoin address.

It may be possible to recover your dogecoins. In general, the way to recover coins sent to an address of a different coin is to take the private key of the incorrect address and import it into the wallet of the correct coin type. In your case, obtain the private key of 12n1ZixhsJYtYx1kKaVBZmJdyxLQbTMRiF and import it into a dogecoin wallet. I don't know enough about dogecoin and that wallet to tell you if that will work, but the wallet developers can help you. I would raise a big stink if they don't since it is clearly a bug in their software.
