If you have old drives that aren't being used, why not try it. I wouldn't spend any extra $$ on it though. Personally I have about 8 TB of old SSD's I am plotting and farming. If I get a few coins, great. If not, no loss.

Thanks Nope, just had some issues with my box and house and didn't want to spend a fortune at the time. I set up the 20 amp circuits 3-4 years ago, before I even started mining I was referring to 220/240v circuit (which are basically the same)

I did a similar setup and couldn't run 220 for variety of reasons. I got a nice 20 amp Tripp Lite PDU from Amazon that shows amps. 80% would be 16 amps. I never go over that. I ran the electric a while back before mining, so it's what I got. Eventually I'd like to get 220 setup somewhere but kind of out of space on the box.

Quote getting that extra 6-8mh is not worth it. I'm with you. Rather than OC every card to the max, I'd more looking for longevity of the card. Especially if it was purchased for over MSRP

I tried Binance pool a while back and also got some very strange results. At first I thought it was something on my side, but when I switched no issues. Agree with others, go to another pool like Ethermine

I use molex to power the risers and PCIE to power cards. Never had an issue. Of course, don't mix the power supplies to the same card/riser

My 2 cents. If you have the cards - go for it If you can get the cards at cost - go for it. Don't waste your $$ with scalpers at 2x/3x MSRP. ROI will then be 2x/3x longer As others said, if eth creeps down back toward 1000 buy the coin, don't mine. Or do both Can make up the difference picking up eth low rather than waiting for mining revenue.

PNY 3090 Core: -150 Mem: +1100 Power 88% (about 310 watts) Can get 116-117 with PHX It does run warm though. Need an extra fan to keep it happy.
