1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: February 05, 2021, 01:30:55 AM
Hello,
used to mine one year ago and due to actual rising ETH I want start again.

Could you pls recommend best AMD RX580 driver,

or is crimson Blockchain still the best?

I installed it and hashrate was low, then I installed old drivers and use compute mode and my 580 hash for 31 MH/s.

have a question, my friend wants to invest in a small rig, just for fun. how important is cpu or it isnt that important. He would get a mbo with this particular cpu -  Intel Xeon x5660 (6 cores)

for mining alone, cpu ain't matter.
but for posting lots of lots bs questions just for fun, a powerful cpu plus tons of rams would help so it doesn't blow up.
