What would be the cause of high ORPHAN BLOCKS

i am getting loads of them. like 70 to 80%
last 24 hours i minted 16 blocks but 12 of them ORPHAN 

i mint 1 block,  then after 2 or 3 confirmations block suddenly becomes an ORPHAN.
seems bit suspicious.

or mint 1 block and 5 active connections suddenly drops to 1 or 2 connections.
seems bit suspicious also.

All nodes coming from NOVA EXCHANGE.

GPU friendly algorithms seem to be very popular.
 

I see your point, it doesn't matter what algo.

I guess my point was that, could we potentially have Scrypt and X11 Algorithms both freeze up due to Asic hash rates.
It does seem that GPU friendly Algorithms are very popular though.

What about the iBeLink DM384M X11 ASIC Miner that is selling for $2,000

Maybe we should count X11 out.

Multi Algo means that each algo has it's own difficulty level according to it's hash rate

So Scrypt for example could have a difficulty of 4000 if there is a lot of hash rate on it.

But x11 or other algo's could only have a difficulty of 25 if there is not much hash on them.

Meaning ASIC machines are not holding VERGE ransom with their huge hash rates. (sometimes half of LTC & DOGE Hash rates)

There will be less coins for ASIC Machines to mine, because other Algo's will take a big bite into the ASIC Pie.

If China throw huge hash on to VERGE, they will not freeze the Blockchain because the other Algo's will solve Blocks and keep things moving.


Now there are x11 ASIC miners So i would vote against x11 to add as a possible  Algo.
maybe 1 day all Algo's will be ASIC, 

 

Maybe it's Doge.  They cant handle VERGE passing them at 57 sat any day now
