What would be the cause of high ORPHAN BLOCKS i am getting loads of them. like 70 to 80% last 24 hours i minted 16 blocks but 12 of them ORPHAN i mint 1 block, then after 2 or 3 confirmations block suddenly becomes an ORPHAN. seems bit suspicious. or mint 1 block and 5 active connections suddenly drops to 1 or 2 connections. seems bit suspicious also. All nodes coming from NOVA EXCHANGE.

a big thank you to vampirus for helping me with my mistakes. your patience with me was greatly appreciated. looking forward to what 2018 brings.

thank you for your help again. now i understand that i cannot sends coins while splitblocks is checked how long will transactions stake for roughly. sorry for my lack of understanding.

thank you vampirus
should i leave split blocks checked still or uncheck it

Do not use advanced coin control, if not understand how it works. If you check some coins in coin control and that block make stake before you press "send", transaction never confirmed. I send to 33niAyVAGgX5U9kq28nKfbyy3hTK64SBpL 10 BUK for testing.
Hi vampirus the 10 BUK are now in wallet 33niAyVAGgX5U9kq28nKfbyy3hTK64SBpL so no problem there but how do i fix my main wallet so that i can send coins from it. also with 125,000+ BUK i want to take advantage of POS but i don't understand how to. i see the Hyperstake tutorial but i still don't understand what i did wrong. thank you for the reply Edit: i send 10 BUK back from 33niAyVAGgX5U9kq28nKfbyy3hTK64SBpL thanks again

i sent 100.0 BUK to another wallet Status: 0/unconfirmed Date: 27/11/2017 16:13 To: 33niAyVAGgX5U9kq28nKfbyy3hTK64SBpL Debit: -100.00 BUK Transaction fee: -0.001 BUK Net amount: -100.001 BUK Transaction ID: 59681ea97d75218f0843ace99bfe8ef1513a841241d7960eff060b859c865426 but still the coins have not sent. almost 24 hours so i do repairwallet and 100.0 BUK are back in my wallet. then i try to send 100.00 BUK again and wallet say's Error: The transaction was rejected. This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent, such as if you used a copy of wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here. so i do repairwallet again 10:08:33 repairwallet 10:08:33 {"wallet check passed" : true } but i still can not send coins as i get the same Error message why is this crap happening

^ yep.
i have the exchange admins in my contacts. same for pool owners. they are the first people i contact whenever an update it made.
for those of you in irc, steam, i2prc, and now slack, we have a bot that posts in the room whenever a change is made to the source code, along with a link that will take you to the commit and show you exactly what was changed, along with a description i (usually) enter..
when im done testing, the exchanges and pools will be notified (possibly within the next couple of hours)
then i will compile wallets and replace them on our website, and post them for everyone. i will also make a post here the moment after i gave the green light to the exchanges to update =]
Your hard work and dedication is amazing Dogedarkdev. thank you heaps. Really looking forward to the Multi-Algo update. more people mining - Not people mining more And for what it is worth, Bittrex did the right thing by halting trading until the new release. They know the VERGE update is worth waiting for.

ok last time im reseting the votes guys, these are the top most popular so far. we'll call it final in 2 days.
get to voting! (seriously, for the last time lol)
Options #1 and #5 are both "scrypt, x17, lyra2rev2, blake2s" that's correct maybe #1 or #5 is "scrypt, x17, lyra2rev2, blake2s, neoscrypt". I voted scrypt, x17, lyra2rev2, blake2s, groestl I voted scrypt, x17, lyra2rev2, blake2s, groestl you made some very valid points fosco333

just edited my previous post lol GPU friendly algorithms seem to be very popular.

What about the iBeLink DM384M X11 ASIC Miner that is selling for $2,000
Maybe we should count X11 out.
but the point is that if one algo starts pulling all our work, like scrypt, the other algos can fight back, so even if we have a farm on x11 and one on scrypt, at least its not one farm getting it all I see your point, it doesn't matter what algo. Edit: I guess my point was that, could we potentially have Scrypt and X11 Algorithms both freeze up due to Asic hash rates. It does seem that GPU friendly Algorithms are very popular though.

Multi Algo means that each algo has it's own difficulty level according to it's hash rate So Scrypt for example could have a difficulty of 4000 if there is a lot of hash rate on it. But x11 or other algo's could only have a difficulty of 25 if there is not much hash on them. Meaning ASIC machines are not holding VERGE ransom with their huge hash rates. (sometimes half of LTC & DOGE Hash rates) There will be less coins for ASIC Machines to mine, because other Algo's will take a big bite into the ASIC Pie. If China throw huge hash on to VERGE, they will not freeze the Blockchain because the other Algo's will solve Blocks and keep things moving. Now there are x11 ASIC miners So i would vote against x11 to add as a possible Algo. maybe 1 day all Algo's will be ASIC,

Excited by this coin ,it looks like the perfect investment A couple of the things that excite me are: POS only coin. 200,000,000 coins premined that get's staked by a TRUSTED Dev team member. 100 BTC Volume on Bittrex, 2 posts above was over 1 month ago, and only 3 pages of discussion since launch. A magic Genie seems to buying lots of coins.that could be a really good Omen. WOW opportunity of a F#*&! life time i reckon.

Currently working on a Linux distro for Raspberry Pi's so you can download the entire ISO and essentially plug it onto an SD card, slap it into a Pi and get rocking and rolling with Verge via Pi. Cheers- Rekt [/quote] Lovin your work. We have the best Community ever.

guys, for anyone promoting us on various platforms, please dont attack other coins, as it isnt very becoming, and that isn't/shouldn't be what we are about. ill be in irc/irc2p for the next 12 hours if anyone needs me, working away on more XVG stuff thanks Couldn't agree more Dogedarkdev. P.S I don't think we need speculation about PRICES and POLONIEX adding us either. Things will happen if and when they happen. just my 2cent's worth Well it seems I need to shelf the pot stirring skills for now. It seems it worked out quite well in the end though *CryptoRekt takes it from a 11/10 to about a 4/10* Cheers M8's- Rekt Your pot stirring skills are very good CryptoRekt you do a great job of promoting Verge. and you are a very valuable member of the community. I am glad your on our team.
