1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which upcoming DeFi projects would you recommend? on: February 15, 2021, 09:42:49 AM
I would recommend GET Protocol

This project (although alround now for a few years) is gaining traction the past weeks. Why?

Most important reason is that they have managed to effectively eliminate scalpers from the ticket market by issuing smart tickets on the ethereum network. None of the to date 600.000 issued tickets were scalped.
Second reason is the DeFi part: most event organisers / artists struggle when it comes to event financing. Get Protocol will introduce a defi module in that makes it possible to invest in events and gain money from it starting from Q2 2021! In my opinion this is a very cool and valid usecase of the possibilities of defi.

Great post  Grin

In my opinion this is the most promising altcoin out there (and way undervalued yet) because;

- it solves a real-world problem (ticket scalping) in a transparant AND effective way by using blockchain technique. NONE of the 600.000 tickets sold to date, have been subjected to scalping
- its not just a whitepaper/hype but an actual/real solution that is already integrated by multiple ticketing companies
- the coin is deflationary; the scarcity will drive its price up

Although the volume isn't booming yet, and the $GET coin cannot be traded yet on a decent CEX , I have no doubt it will explode when large scale events will be planned again (because of covid-19) in the very near future.
