1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Advice for a bullrun newb on: February 16, 2021, 03:12:58 PM
Howdy coiners, Im new to crypto forums, so intertested to see what kind of replies Ill get...

I want to lay out my current holdings and then voice some questions I have.

I have (These are all CAD prices btw, so 20 or 25 % more for USD I guess?)

Put $2000 into ADA at 0.68
Have 111 APY I bought between $3-4
Have REEF from trading, was recently worth $909 at $0.60
Have $100 so far into AGI at $0.32.

I suffered a lot for moving things around too much and paying ETH gas fees, but Im getting the hang of how to do this more wisely...

My main concern is about future investment.... My ADA is a looong term hold no doubt about it. But as I wonder about how high peaked we may or not be in this bull market, I wonder if I should be selling any of these other ones off as soon as Im up a bit to play it safe, and keep the money on standby for if bitcoin and the whole market take a real good dip soon. I remember the last time bitcoin spiked like a mother, and it didnt last too long...

People talk about Alt coins pumping, and Im wondering if it's still expected this year that money will flow into them, or if the ATH we see with bitcoin kind of marks it, and we're likely to see decline from here until the next bull run? Because if I knew to expect that I might chill out with investing in projects right now, and buy them in those 'winter' times....

So how do you guys see this year going, Ive heard the bullrun will go into summer at least or into fall... but what does that really mean for the rising of altcoins between now abd then... Should I be chilling out on those investments until the 'winter'?
