The "bump" button which you can see on the right side of your topic's original post overrides the last's post date so when people use that, they'll end up being on the front page, even if they haven't posted anything for some time.
For additional information, check this thread Bumping changes on some boards
What you need to know
1. Don't worry about it too much. If you behave as normal, you'll do OK. 2. If you like a topic and you see a "bump" link near the "watch", "print", etc. links in a topic, click it. 3. If you've been spam-bumping, knock it off, since it's not going to work anymore.
Thanks, Now understand bumping properly...

People Pay Your Taxes - v2.0 Details on taxation of Bitcoin in India This thread is a newer version of old thread which can be found here. As Crypto Economy has grown exponentially in last few years, a thread was needed with much more detailed information about taxation than the last one so here it is. So when tax has to be paid?
Whenever you convert your crypto holding to Indian Rupee and you have made some profit/income, you have to pay tax. As simple as this. For more clarification, check image below: Note: You have to file return irrespective of whether you made profits or not. Paying tax and file return are not the same thing.
Case 1 (rarest case): I receive salary in Bitcoins You may be receiving salary in Bitcoin either from local business..... Case 2 (common case): I earn Bitcoins from Sig Campaigns, Bounties, misc. sources
Well, this case covers me and most of the members here. You may be receiving signature payments...... Case 3 (most common case): I earn profits by buying/selling Bitcoins (or Altcoins)
So the largest portion of Indians associated with Bitcoins...... Nice Hard-Work, WebtricksWell & very clearly explained, how to legalise Crypto Income..... We have referred your topic in our thread.

What do the mean by probe in past transactions? Does it means we will have to provide them all details of our trades and bounty rewards too?
The government asked companies to provide their cryptocurrency investments details but i have not heard the government asking individuals to provide their asset details. The central government is inefficient in even providing oxygen as everyone here is aware of and the level of bad governance is highlighted during these hard times and i do not think they will do anything meaningful and make things better for the cryptocurrency investors by forcing us to stop using them according to our choice and they will shove their centralized shit. Yeah man, to be honest, I am very disappointed with the Indian Government right now. At first I though it had handled the covid situation not badly but the recent days have shown their incompetence and the same goes with their plan to ban cryptocurrencies. I think even if the government decides to ban crypto there will still be many Indians trading it in some or the other way. Also, banning crypto won't do any good to either ones and the government would instead be benefited if they had just regulated crypto at first place. Yes Friend, it’s true traders will find any way to trade. Actually crypto trading is one kind of dabba trading. Traders are not showing actual earning and paying tax to Govt. Due to that reason they Indian Govt is trying to ban crypto trading.

Yeah true. I am surprised how media houses are putting the same article of India bringing law to ban cryptos again and again. Either the words of the Finance minister have no credibility or these media houses are making some huge money. When the MOS FInance & FM clearly stated in the Parliament that India does not have any intention of banning crypto as of yet and we are considering stakeholder greivences the very next day top media houses still saying that India banning cryptocurrencies. Either they themselves are buying the dips or just creating a FUD to flee away the retail investors which might be as per the guidelines of the government itself.
Yes it’s true that media is not presenting what is actual planning for Cryptocurrencies in India. “MOS FInance & FM clearly stated in the Parliament that India does not have any intention of banning crypto as of yet“ It means they have draft and try to cover global view point as of BC is boundryless. Hope soon they announce something about Blackchain.
