1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: March 09, 2019, 01:52:03 PM
Has the official list of 2018 notarization results been released yet, do we know which NN are in the bottom 50% and need to run in election again?

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - next generation platform, Secured by Bitcoin on: January 31, 2019, 02:34:20 AM
When will new notary elections happen, in Q1?

Should be very interesting this year, many high-quality candidates.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VIOR | Viorcoin | TEMPORARY THREAD Open Discussion | Voice & Video Call | on: December 16, 2018, 02:06:39 AM

VIOR will have a wallet upgrade possibly before the year end and
could see full development of its separate communications platform by the end of 2019

A new wallet would be great, current one often freezes for me.

Hi Kenny,

This is MikeMike using the new Official KORE - Dev account.

You may have too many staking transactions in the VIOR wallet you are using.
You could try installing a new wallet and sending your VIOR to that wallet to stake.

MikeMike

Thanks MikeMike, wallet is staking ok now!

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2018, 09:30:37 PM
Guys I suggest you to go spam ZCash thread if you managed to improve it with your token. Rare if any here is interested in ZCash or variables of it here.

Zcash isn't a real privacy coin, it's not fungible digital cash, and not a substitute for monero

PIRATE is fungible digital cash, that's why these guys are wetting their pants, and it arguably has better privacy set than XMR
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VIOR | Viorcoin | TEMPORARY THREAD Open Discussion | Voice & Video Call | on: August 19, 2018, 04:45:01 AM

Apologies for the delays.
Working hard on KORE and once that is complete we will move onto the others.

MikeMike

Will that be 2018 mike, or are we realistically looking at 2019 now before VIOR gets serious attention?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: July 08, 2018, 01:15:10 AM
I want to transfer my Komodo coins from my first address to my second address without having a direct link between both addresses.
I did research and found out that it works with a private z address. Before I do the transfer I want to make sure I got everything right.

1) I need to run Agama Komodo native client and completely synchronize
2) I go to receive and create a private Z address
3) I send my KMD from my first address to the private Z address
4) I send my KMD from the private Z address to my second address

Is this approach correct? Is there any risk to lose my KMD on the way?
Thanks in advance for your help!

update: I contrary to Agama light client I do not have to provide a password/seed for native client. How can I save the private key of the z address?

Good question, i would like to know this also.

Could this function ever be added to the GUI to prevent mistakes?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: May 25, 2018, 01:19:52 AM
I am considering to invest into a pure privacy coin for the first time. Currently I prefer Komodo over Monero but I am not sure if Komodo is really a privacy coin. I know it allows to create Z-addresses so that private transactions are possible. Are those transactions really untraceable?

zksnarks technology is pretty sweet (inherited from ZEC) but KMD adds an additional layer of privacy with JUMBLR (basically takes a T-address to Z, Z-to-Z, and then Z back to T). That's not to say you couldn't already do this yourself but it is already layered into the wallet.

KMD is the most advanced privacy coin in the crypto space, not only does it use the best tech with zksnarks, but with JUMBLR there is an additional layer, plus you can use BarterDEX for trading that avoids any centralised exchange kyc, so you can trade anonymously too. There isn't much point to anon tech if you hand over your passport selfie when you want to trade your anon coins!

I have always been a fan of XMR but unless they get listed on some decentralised exchanges soon the usability of monero will rapidly decline as more centralised exchanges ban anon coins.

I agree this project is a very very undervalued.

I think once they release the unique masternode feature with the queue system and also get on the cbx direct fiat exchange that is being set up this project will take off .

I would say that it does meet the criteria in the op for sure. If there are no legitimate objections to it being added I think we should put it up there soon or certainly once they release the masternode queue system.

I wonder what others think?

CBX could easily x20 in the next few months, insanely cheap for a coin that'll be 5 years old next month, the original thread shows the launch was fair with a small premine of ~1% and the original dev is still at the helm. Definitely one to watch after the fiat exchange listing.

Those are some amazing stats there, KMD is really coming along in leaps & bounds now, and starting to get some well deserved attention finally!

Ripple and the custom cryptocurrency it created, XRP, are having a moment.

Winning the attention of new investors (so much so that XRP shot up over 1,000 percent earlier this year) as well as new clients (with announcements rolling out at a slow and steady clip), the enterprise blockchain startup has been the talk of crypto in 2018.

Yet, newcomers should note that much of the enthusiasm stems from certain claims by the startup - namely, that its tech could revolutionize international payments, innovating on outdated methods for routing messages and money between financial behemoths.

NASdaq is a stolen account, do not trust this user

+1

NASdaq is a hacked account, the current user stole it around 9th Feb 2018, and mysteriously started posting in Russian since then, the original NASdaq is NOT russian.

I know the original owner of 'NASdaq' account since 2015, and have traded with him many times. He asked me to verify his claim to this account, which I have done via email.

Do not trust this user!!

Why should I have to go on a channel communication to ask questions about roadmap, projects you are working on, estimated date release of your products, workforce allocated to projects and so on ? It should be clearly visible on your website and updated : in all honesty it is clearly not.

SuperNET is not a publicly listed company, if you're an investor that needs to be spoon fed information to make your decisions go and invest in traditional corporations on any stock exchange in the world, and get traditional risk::return opportunities.

SN/KMD is a totally different proposition, you need to work hard yourself, and put all the pieces of the puzzle together yourself. If that doesn't sound good to you (i.e. you want to be treated like a Wall St investor reading a prospectus etc), then seriously bro, leave crypto asap
