1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: February 20, 2021, 10:27:21 PM
Are there any plans to implement a delay to overclocking with PhoenixMiner until after the DAG is generated? My RTX 3070 can run with VRAM at +1350 with no issues, but I have to manually set it to default clocks when launching the miner, wait for the DAG to be generated, then manually overclock it after it's done. If I let PhoenixMiner apply the OC settings when it starts, it overclocks the memory before the DAG is generated and then almost every share is rejected, defeating the purpose of PhoenixMiner being able to overclock. Besides that, running for extended periods means eventually the DAG will need to be regenerated, and if it keeps the high overclock, it'll just continue to barf out errors instead of generating the new DAG and going back to mining.

So, are there any plans to implement a delay to overclocking until after the DAG is generated?
