1  Economy / Economics / Re: Personal Financial Goals vs Government expectations! on: June 02, 2024, 04:29:51 PM
Do the government actually expect something from you other than being a good citizen paying tax and don't create problems that will be consider national treat? I doubt any government of any country have any expectations from their citizens. They are more concern about generating revenue internal and external.
Only your parents expect you to be successful, government only care about controlling you and your finance.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over the next months meme coin investors will get most rich on: June 02, 2024, 04:16:57 PM
Couldn't agree more, memecoins holders feeling very fortunate for their bags i guess. There hasn't been a dull moment for the top memecoin so far, pepe keeps melting faces with great price movement.
Am kinda regretting why i didn't ape into memecoins few months back when the market was experiencing a bearish period. Now it seems a bit late or maybe not.  Smiley
It is not easy to find the right meme to ape into. Hopefully the alts season is gradually coming closer.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Work From Home or The "Laptop Class" is Immoral or Not? on: June 01, 2024, 07:34:11 PM
In my organisation the management introduces the work from hone option to reduce the cost of transportation on mostly the lower level employees.
I don't see it as immoral act provided no employee is taken advantage of the event. Rather it has really helped to a certain degree with its aim.
Aa long as an employee did not misuse such opportunity it is fine to work anywhere and not necessarily be at the work station.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest problem is that stablecoins usdt and usdc only few blockchains on: May 31, 2024, 05:57:26 PM
We know the liquity important.
Whenever i want to receive or send funds between exacngers or to send it to receive to someone they use mostly tron and solana...there xlm blockchain for usdc but only circle using it why it's there then most of the crypto exchanger use only tron eth and ton chains.
I guess we have top utility coins what people use it eth is there but nobody don't pay that high fees.
But for now tron, solana and ton are really with most use cases becouse those blockchains are everywhere.

There are also l2 like optimism, arbitrum, bsc and even avalanche which is relatively cheap. I don't know what exchange you are using but most big and medium exchanges have several options different blockchain to choose from.
You probably change the exchange you are using, the problem is you not stablecoins.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people are less likely to accept traditional employments in this era! on: May 30, 2024, 06:03:42 PM
I don't know if there is a study on this or just your assumption but from what I see in reality in my location, traditional jobs are being sorted out by people from all age groups. You also know there are few jobs around so the pressure is high. Most people engaged in under pay jobs just to survive.
Most people can not afford to make that decision. Even the online jobs are not available. Take a look most lest developed countries. If there where available online jobs many people will not be unemployed.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: May 29, 2024, 07:11:04 PM
Anyone minted the Deverse World Kromatic Isles nft from kroma on rarible and providing liquidity to earn up to 80 ksp daily?
Kroma is an under farmed project among all other projects out there, i can't say why that is. Base on their earlier adjustment of the airdrop percentage this could be a good opportunity to make a decent reward. The Nft is a little pricy but if you already done past galxe quest i would say it won't be a bad idea to participate on this as well.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any airdrop hunters here need some leads on: May 28, 2024, 01:04:47 PM
Lately im trying to register in airdrops but never get any money from that.
So, i don't think Airdrop is a good idea anymore, maybe if youre luck enough you gonna get the big one such as Arbitrum and etc.
But i prefer to doing bounty works then airdrop.

From all indications you are probably lazy to hunt for airdrop hence you will jump to such conclusion. I mean take a look at how NOTCoin made some people good money all by just tapping your phone occasionally  Grin
Most people made their first earnings in crypto through NOTCoin and that is just tip from the bags of airdrop around. But people like you will continue to fade it.
Wait and see the number of people who will come out smiling after LayerZero and Zksync do their drop.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: May 28, 2024, 12:53:35 PM
^  Lol...  'Fairness and justice'?  Cheesy Cheesy  That's funny.  Didn't they farm their own users to the tits then gave them like a hundred bucks worth of tokens?  Crypto is hilarious, not sure if I'm ever leaving.  Cheesy

And why did they use 'ZK'?  It's already pretty obvious that zkSync would be using it.  They should've used POLY or PLH or something.

Edit:  You guys think Kroma Quest Master holders will be eligible for an airdrop even if the holder just bought it off of the market?  It's selling at just 71 bucks at Hypermarket rn.

If you have any idea about Cashmere Lab project (backed by binance I heard) recently gave more preference to those holding their both mainnet and testnet nft.
They gave huge chunk of GOAT points to nft holders, although there is no info about conversion ratio to the token yet but the project seem under farmed just like kroma.
And the interesting part was they gave points to both users who minted and those who both from the market. Maybe same will apply to kroma, just my opinion.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever cheap again? on: May 26, 2024, 05:43:41 PM
I don't know how you can think that alts price are not cheap as it is now, have you taken a look at the market lately and see how cheap most of the alts are now, look at alts like Tia, DYM, Apt, Wormhole, inj and a whole lot of them are very cheap as we speak.
I don't think you will see alts any cheaper than what they are now. If we are going to witness a bull run after btc halving i think this is the time to buy some of the great alts for the upcoming bull run.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Money addiction on: May 25, 2024, 04:16:22 PM
I know am not addicted to making money otherwise I would be rich by now  Grin
I love the idea of having enough money to sort out your pressing needs, but I don't have that much hunger to do whatever it takes to make money.
Besides I like to earn money in a healthy and legit way. People who don't care how they earn money are those who can be seen as addicted to making money by any means necessary.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: May 25, 2024, 04:09:31 PM
What purpose will btc serve seating idle in your wallet forever?
I think those people who often say this have a target price where they will sell eventually. Individual differences but I would like to believe every btc holders always have a set price goal where they feel is the right price to sell or take profit.
I don't believe in hodl forever, it is unrealistic and does not help btc in anyway if you ask me.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ETH ETF, now it's time for ETH ATH? on: May 24, 2024, 12:52:03 PM
Haven't been unaware about this, so I needed to ask, Op was it a proposed project to the SEC yet or it has already been approved because if approved then it should be expected to take shape any moment soon but if still on considerations then the fate lies in the future to determine by the SEC.
It's a good step for Altcoins too atleast ETHs market move wouldn't be determined being subjected to bitcoin value after the project is launched. This would also sound a challenge for bitcoin to buckle up so as to remain on top of the AltCoins in both values and services.

Yes Ethereum etf has been approved and the news is all over social media platform. I read somewhere that only some portion of eth that was approve for etf but am not sure how true that info is. People are speculating spike in price of eth soon. It may not be immediate but i believe eth price will shoot very high following this approval.
This will also affect other alts price as well, btc and eth etf got approval this year, it seems 2024 is going to be more interesting moving forward.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin profit - when is being greedy too greedy? on: May 24, 2024, 12:23:40 PM
The altcoin market fluctuate a lot but once anyone is able to understand the altcoin market movement i think they will be fine with buying and selling as they please. The truth is, those who have deep knowledge about the market can make money in any market condition, bullish or bearish. What matters most is knowing what you are doing, especially avoid fomo and buying at the top  Grin
Imo, when greed becomes too recessive is during bull when you have the best opportunity to take profit and you refuse. As of now, we are not there yet.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: May 23, 2024, 03:40:02 PM
^  Taiko...   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I did like a lot, I'd say almost all of their Galxe stuff, their testnet and even KYC'd in Galxe to get the 2500 points.  But still got nil from their airdrop.  Maybe I should've run a node.  I saw a couple of guys got around 1000 TKO tokens for setting them up via cheap VPS.  The monthly was prolly around 20 bucks a month or something.  Not bad.

Anybody here have experience in running a node?  Give me some suggestions on which VPS services to use please.  Thanks.

Yeah, very unfortunate that Taiko will treat galxe participants like this after putting much time doing all their numerous galxe quest and engaging on the testnet task.
Am genuinely disappointed for not having any allocation despite all the galxe points and all the several testnet activities i have. I also have galxe passport v2 and claimed 2500 points. I think they randomly selected wallets to airdrop to. It doesn't seem like there is a specific criteria on wallet selection.
Am looking forward to Ionet, hopefully the allocation will be soothing  Cheesy

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OG's Secrets to Profitable Meme Coins Investment on: March 31, 2024, 02:33:14 PM
To me the only important thing to note while dealing with memecoins is invest what you can afford to lose. Memecoins are not safe investment so it is very important to minimise the amount to invest.
Use dextool to check all relevant info, hopefully it is not a honeypot.
While it is very easy to make good amount of money through memecoins, it is equally very easy to lose it all.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: March 31, 2024, 02:24:45 PM
Not including Wormhole, I've noticed that the quality of the airdrops have been dwindling as of late judging from what I'm seeing itt and from CT.  I guess this is the lull that has to happen before a new wave starts again for the next few months.  I think April will be so so for airdrops with nothing really happening...  But then May will be huge with Layer Zero, ZK Sync, Aptos 2 and possibly even Arbitrum 2 a couple of months later.  Has anybody here completed Arbitrum Odyssey?  It could have airdrop implications imho.

There are so high expectation that zksync will be dropping probably in April. I have been seeing many ct influencers hitting on April, also parcl, kamino are dropping in April.
You will surprise there will be others that will suddenly make the announcement. LayerZero according to speculations will most likely be June.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you need to have spare USDT in this bullrun. on: March 30, 2024, 09:59:35 AM
Having spare stablecoins at all time is very necessary because you never know when that awesome project will appear and you don't have any stablecoin to invest. It is something I have come to realise this past years. Not all your funds should be invested.
And most opportunities comes in the bull market where almost every project hitting new ath, investors be looking for funds to take advantage.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 29, 2024, 05:58:37 PM
At this stage that I have been a part of the crypto space, with the little experience I have, I won't be buying btc at ath despite the temptation that comes when the market keeps pumping high.
For those people who buys at the top, it is usually fomo that leads them to buy. Some people only buy when the market is very active. And depending on your goals and capital, you can buy for longterm regardless of the price.
