Hello asta.

This is the pool: http://utc14.yacoin.club/index.php - there's also some help with setting up miners. I'm using GTX1060 GPU and these are my settings: ccminer-x64.exe --algo=scrypt-jane:14 -L 4 -l auto -o stratum+tcp://utc.yacoin.club:3413 -u worker -p password

You can download newest ccminer from here: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases I'm currently using ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9 on Windows 10 64 bit but if you mine using AMD GPUs I cannot help you.
And yes wallet takes a lot of time to sync, be patient Smiley

Hi Primouno

It's pool problem.
Usukan do you know whats is Aleneeva's situation?

Valpe

I'm getting 20 KHs with 1080ti, so your result seems OK. Which miner are you using? In other algorythms 1080ti is more than twice stronger than 1060.

It's not quite profitable to mine UTC directly. I mine ZCash, convert to BTC and buy UTC.
I use ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda9 which Valpe mentioned a few pages back. Yesterday I was mining for two hours UTC in our pool but I don't have any ultracoins in my account. Is it problem with the pool or it was too short to earn something?
Thanks for the info. I thought there was problem only with payouts. We have to wait for Aleneeva

Does anyone know what's an average hashrate for GTX1060 3GB? I'm getting 11.5 kHs and I'm wondering if I can improve something. Is it worth mining solo with this GPU?

ok i got my tokens. has anyone else received 5000 Waves Bitcoin tokens as well? I wonder what that asset is? Thanks for the free tokens, will be fun to play with them once we have full wallet functions.
Yes I have them too. I don't know how to use them yet. As usukan mentioned before: we have to wait until they open WAVES gateways and it's possible to trade them.

How to update the old wallet? Just install new one over old one?

What is the correct procedure to update wallet? Do I need to download blockchain again or can I use old one?

Use yacminer, it's better with higher n factors, not ultracoinminer.

i'm trying to mine this since yesterday all i'm getting is video driver crashes .... Sad
Try 13.12 driver, although I was able to mine with 14.12 (Omega) as well. We're talking about AMD GPUs?

I agree with avoiding full POS; I'm not so convinced we should separate from our miners entirely yet.

I'll toss another idea into the hat.  I've been turning over the idea of going multialgorithm- we could still avoid the ASICs and select other GPU-centric algorithms and capture the simplicity of those other algos in setting up the miner.   Perhaps Neoscrypt to start with.  That would really be a boon for the ATI miners as yacminer has a higher learning curve and the hassle of changing settings with NFactor increases than most care to deal with.   Maybe CryptoNight too.  With other algos available, we could maintain the existing scrypt-jane progression without freezing it with other alternatives available and see where that leads.

The retarget would have to be completely revamped.  We could even add ASICs algorithms, SHA256 and Scrypt, to the list.  We'd still be partially ASIC resistant, but we'd also be opening up to a much wider audience.  Each algo could have only 1/x of the total block time towards the difficulty calculation, with 'x' being the number of total algorithms, including PoS as an algo.  They all could be weighted asymmetrically too- such as giving PoS a larger share of the block time in its difficulty calculation to half of the total shares, for greater PoS protection.

Hello gents,

@King_Pin I have been loyal to Ultracoin since the very beginning, we have no reason to fake accounts to bring up ideas to the community, if you remembered, in the beginning I was a strong opponent to going full POS. Leave the agent provocateurs to politics.

@barabbas Ultracoin, despite our dip, still has potential to push forward. We are still in the ring, and despite the recent fall out, we still have enough leverage to keep us in the fight. It is to my knowledge that there are several large investors and groups of investors that spent a significant amount of capital investing in Ultracoin. I have no way of knowing for sure, but it is possible that these investors have liquidated their bags. A few large whales can make quite the impact on the market. I for one have never sold any Ultracoin, and all the Ultracoin I have acquired has been through mining and purchasing off the open market. I have no plans on selling, and morally and philosophically I could never sell my holdings. I want to see Ultracoin succeed, and I believe in what we are doing.

.....

Sincerely,

Great idea Kracko. I would like to see this working Smiley It could bring many new miners to UTC.

I acquired some GTX 750Ti 2GB but I can't seem to set them up properly.
The best I did was :
Code:
cudaminer.exe -a scrypt-jane:14 -o stratum+tcp -u user -p X -b 4096 -m 1 -i 0 -L 6 -l t96x1
Which gives me only around 2,5 kH/s they should be doing more than 3k at this freq.
GPU 1350MHz, MEM 1525MHz
I have 5 cards running on 4G of RAM

Does anyone have some other settings Smiley

some with this -l t60x2 -H 2 -m 1 -i 0 -L 4
and others -l t5x24 -H 2 -m 1 -i 0 -L 4

working better without -b

getting 3.4-3.6

happy mining
I get "Cuda error", than "Driver Error", with any value above -l t24x2 when using -L 4 on two of my rigs, but on a third one I have no problems running -l t60x2 -L 4
@king_pin
Did you manage to resolve this problem? I have the same issue, low hashrate ~2.5 kh/s and crash when autotune :/ What is your OS? Mine is Win 8.1 - maybe this is where the problem lies.

wallet must be 24/7 for staking ?

Yes, it needs to be open. But you can mint for 12 hours a day if you want Smiley

One quick question: I've been mining solo for a few days now and found two blocks. In my wallet on overview tab I have number of transactions: 4 but on a transaction tab I have only two transactions, those found blocks. Where are the other two? I got more accepted shares in yacminer but no incoming transactions, I have only one reject.

Can someone help me out with settings for my r9 280x rig. I am only getting 1.7khs with ultracoinminer and I cannot even get yacminer to run without HW. If someone could just post their settings for whichever miner run better I would appreciate it.
Also, is 1.5khs for an r7 240 acceptable?
I have 14.6 drivers for r9 280x and I think 13.2 for my r7

I have always used 13.12 drivers with AMD GPUs. I think newer ones gives HW errors, at least in my case. To find best settings you may use: http://www.ultracoin.net/configgen_raw.html but it is down ATM. And now it's best to use Yacminer not Ultracoinminer.

Who can tell how to get solo UTC?
I set up a file ultracoin.conf

rpcuser=login
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=localhost
rpcport=44101
port=44100
addnode=31.220.0.203
addnode=192.99.8.7
addnode=198.27.82.163

and miner

SET GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
yacminer.exe --scrypt-chacha -o 127.0.0.1:44101 -u login -p pass --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600 -R 4576 -g 1 -w 256 --buffer-size 2656 --lookup-gap 7 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 86 --temp-overheat 80 --gpu-fan 40-95 2>logfile.txt

Purse running, but production does not occur. Yakmayner writes an error URL. What am I doing wrong?
Have you found solution?

Got my first 30+30 UTC in solo today. )
Congrats Wink Quite nice. What GPU's do you use and how many? Maybe I'll try solo mining too.
