I guess what im getting at is ... should I sell altcoins when they reach a decent high (take profit or reinvest in BTC) or HODL with them with the hope that one day they might explode like BTC ?
Ones in question:
XRP
TRX
AAVE
XLM
ADA
EOS
FIL
DOT
Of course you can sell your altcoin when the price reach the highest price. That is for take your profit in the altcoin season so you can use some of the profit to buy back in the bear market. You can also use the profit money to reinvest in Bitcoin especially if you use DCA method. I see you have a good altcoin which have a chance to increase in the altcoin season. We already see what happen to XRP and ADA and that will not stop to that price. The other coins in your list will be waiting for the right time to increase so you should be patience. I think this is what I was looking to hear ^ . I will hold on the Altcoins until we see the altcoin season truly. Thanks everyone! |

I understand we are entering altcoin season and things will be bullish. But when will we see the downward trend? Are we talking mid 2025?
I know its a bit of an unknown but interested in hearing peoples views/predictions...

XRP has skyrocketed and I am reading that perhaps it has hit its peak.
Is it time to cash out and reinvest elsewhere (i.e bitcoin) or is this one to HODL?

Its all valuable feedback. What I am trying to determine now is whether to sell Altcoins to fund more BTC. I think it would be wise to HODL BTC and ETH.
With that being said TRON & XRP have made me the most profit. ADA, AAVE, XLM slightly down. FIL, EOS & DOT have lost lots!
So from what I gather from the feedback is ... Altcoin should have a rise soon (following BTC) and perhaps wait and see how high that goes before selling?

So with the recent spike in BTC price (and other ALT coins) when is a good time to sell?
Im particuarly interested in ALT coins as I would be keen to sell these off and invest in BTC or ETH. The ALT coins I have invested in:
TRX
TRON
AAVE
Cardano
Lumen
File Coin
EOS
Polkadot
Also is it worth selling the BTC shares and then rebuying when it dips again?

Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?
How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?

So with the current peak on Bitcon, Ethereum (and nearly all of my alt coins) is it wise to:
1) Take out the profit to either bank or reinvest when there is another dip
2) HODL in the hope that it keeps rising and rising

Hi,
I have been watching the value of my alt coins rising again (thankfully!) are we thinking this is a bull run similar to earlier in the year? What is the potential here?
I own the following coins:
Ethereum
Bitcoin
Filecoin
Ripple
Cardano
TRON
Aave
EOS
Lumen
Polkadot
All (apart from Polkadot and Lumen) seem to be doing well. Are there any other alt coins worth investing in at this point in time?

Are you watching the market right now? Trx just lost 16% of it's value and market is in red for many altcoins already, this is happening because bitcoin and ethereum are falling too, I don't know where the market is going from here, I hope you are all ready for any outcome?  Yes at the time of writing this they were still in the green. Since then it is dipping lots. |

Hi Guys,
As the post says I have £10k which I would like to invest with the hope of doubling or tripling said amount in a short space of time. Month or so perhaps?
First of all is this possible? I am looking for guidance on the best method to do this? Preferably on one or two coins only when the price is right.

Hey,
Just wondering what people think about the current price of Ethereum and Bitcoin? I wanted to buy some more of each but obviously the price is quite high - record highs in fact! Are we expecting for another dip i.e a better time to invest or will it keep rising?
I know this is a question of speculation but if anyone has views/opinions/research I would love to hear your thoughts.
