fair enough.  that process is just too lengthy for me. I've had an offer of 20 BTC on SR. Guessing I should go ahead and take that.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Transaction Confirmations on: July 07, 2011, 04:50:56 PM
Can anyone please point me to a thread or article that explains transaction confirmations and how they work?  I have searched here but couldn't find anything definitive, and the Wiki does not really explain it at all.

Thanks

i am doing that, but i want a miner as well. I don't doubt the difficulty will go up.  This is something I want to experiment with.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / WTB Rig > 1.0 Gh/s on: July 03, 2011, 06:00:30 PM
i'm not new here, but just finally registered.

i understand a lot of people are freaking out that mining is not a profiable as it used to be. I am fine with this, and am willing to take a loss for possible long term gain.

just a heads up, that i'm not stupid and will not pay more than 85 cents per Mh/s.

I am completely comfortable going out and building my own.

I should be whitelisted because I've been lurking and reading as a guest for the past 1.5 weeks, and did not know about the restriction.  I would like to be able to buy equipment in the goods section.

Thanks
