Greed is never the issue. It's inbred within us. Since we have the ability to act freely, there is no constrains to prevent a man from acting. Not even a law can stop a man from acting. Greed is an action. Is a man too greedy to obtain 100 pounds of meat? No? Is a man too greedy to obtain 100 pounds of gold? Yes? There is never a line that draws that one is too greedy and another is not too greedy. We're all greedy. If you remove the greed from the people, people die. Socialism removed the greed of profits, and turn into equality of all worker class, it never progress. Instead, it stagnates into a continous same state. Like North Korea. Progress requires greed.
The problem with greed is power. We can combat the greed by not giving the power to the hands of the few. As we foresaw in the past thousand of years, when we hand the power to the hands of few, you are creating a side effect, an action that wasn't meant to be there. It gives certain individual more greed in power. It incentive them to do anything to obtain that power. Power and greed does not mix very well. History has shown that. We have to keep that separate by not creating incentives power grabbers.
There is nothing wrong with profits. We all thrive by making profits. When both parties agreed to make exchange, the person thinks his product value is lesser than the product that he just obtain from the exchange. Profits are actually good, since it gives incentive for individual to commit good deeds to other party. When he commits bad deeds, the other party may not continue to buy his product. Therefore, his value of property went down, and his reputation went down. He no longer makes profit. That's a good system.
Thanks to crypto, people are actually able to commit acts freely as they wills it. No person can stop him from acting. That's why there are so many shitcoins because they want to make quick buck off of it. If somebody else able to do it, why not he? There is nothing wrong with that.
Thanks to Doge, community is what makes the coin very effective, and turns into usefulness coin. That's why dogecoin able to take off so quickly, because people are so greedy. They are greedy to tip people. Nobody should be tipping! See what I did there? Same goes with blackcoin. Blackcoin is gaining on it's ground because the developers are able to give what people want. Is the developer too greedy for giving out a mining rig? Are they too greedy for throwing 20btc at coinkite as a first alt.coin acceptance?
We all want to build a community without violence, and greedy cryptos allows that to happen.
