Anyone care to weigh in on why Arch HQ slack no longer exists?

The coin had been dead for a while, so many people missed the first swap announcement, and the swap window was very short. Still waiting for a chance to swap again!

If you want to know some inside info , you need to be CEO - 32k ARCH Well, in that case, I should set my buy. It seems like you guys know the answer already I'm still looking forward for an answer to my question. As a CEO I can confirm I already know the answers to your questions but I am not authorized to divulge this information at this time. That matter is still to be voted upon by us CEOs and announced by BTCA Hmm... interesting. Well hopefully I'll join you guys soon enough. I believe I got bits and pieces from how you've phrased your answer. Purchase enough to become an ARCH CEO, it will be the best investment decision you will ever make. There is a wealth of information and knowledge shared in ARCH CEO. The education alone is worth the investment.

It's strange with this coin... Often I can wait for days before it connects. But once it connected to the single node found, it will start synchronizing and today (after a good 3 months) I even got some minting going again! And they confirm pretty fast too... I'm now at 17 confirms in 25 minutes... So I guess the developer is still pushing the blockchain by mining, as the only one. What that holds for the future, if any, for Ethan... I don't know. But I just like the name ;p So I hope we'll get some live signs and nodes soon Torrent still active: see previous post Devvie I've been trying to sync for 4 months. I have not been able to get past block 72567 for a while now. Care to share your peer info? I've generated a deposit address, but have not invested, yet, because I can't get the Sendcoin wallet to sync. I am stuck on block 10003. Are there nodes or a recommended config file available?

I experienced a legitimate issue with the coin-swap. I also thought scam when my DM's went unanswered. However, once I reached out to the community and got Majika's attention, the issue was resolved immediately.
You cannot refuse to be helped and then claim scam because of lack of help!

Is there an issue with staking? The coin specs say 10% stake but I seem to be getting more like 0.165% (averaged over 1 week).

What is happening with coins stuck at Cryptsy? Since the wallet is down ("under maintenance") these coins can't be sent anywhere to swap.
|
|
|
Does the new wallet reset coin age? I updated from 2.0.3.1 and was actively staking (weight 7796) when I shut down the wallet. When I brought up 2.0.4 just a minute later, my balance shows 0, with the entire balance is in the stake column, but the wallet says I am not staking because I do not have mature coins. Since the balance is 0, with all of the coins listed under Stake, I can't do anything with the coins, either.

Other than a "well said" from UtahJohn, I see that there is no support from the community in trying to recover lost funds from Cryptsy. I am sure that I am not the only one that Cryptsy has screwed in this, but if the DMD community doesn't care, then I've obviously invested in the wrong coin. I will continue pursuing Cryptsy for my missing funds, but will dump them when/if finally received. Moving on to a coin with a community that sticks together. I have been in touch with the Financial Institution Fraud division of the IRS, and am angry enough to make a goal of getting Cryptsy shut down. Greed, selfishness, and fraud is the real reason crypto-currency has not gone mainstream. Good luck in this dead-end, folks!
i can full understand ur anger and we from foundation spend lot hours try to communicate with cryptsy but there is no communication not even for coin devs our support tickets are closed the same way as yours and we same as u have no direct access to 2nd level support who should maintain the wallets the cryptsy structures are a miracle to us and after we did stay so long loyal to them finally its time seek alternatives to link this troubles with cryptsy with diamond community or foundation is in my opinion not fair but if u decide to step out and sell dmd as soon as possible that close a door for u and open it for someone else who buy ur coins we see this neutral do this do that or i sell my coins cant be used as pressure tool against us we did try a lot regarding the cryptsy issue but we cant fly there and do the wallet setup for them Cryptonit, you misunderstood my intent. My first post got no response whatsoever, except the mentioned "well said". I am not trying to pressure anyone into anything, just suggesting that others in my position can take action other than complaining about it here. The second post actually got the responses I expected to see from the first. Coins who's communities do not stick together fail fast, as I'm sure you are well aware. I believe Cryptsy's actions in handling their own mistake in this issue borders on, if not already crossed, criminal. The first post was ignored, but the second post prompted enough responses to show that I am not alone in my problem or my feelings toward Cryptsy. That is all I was looking for. As a further update, I have mailed Paul Vernon (Big Vern) directly regarding my missing withdrawal and the lack of response from Cryptsy support. Needless to say, this was ignored as well. Cryptsy has one more week to respond to the Better Business Bureau complaint, then it is on to the Financial Fraud division of the IRS.

Looking for support from others in the DMD community. Are there others with lost coins due to Cryptsy's lack of interest in fixing their DMD wallet issue? I attempted a withdrawal (to stake) of 2200+ DMD from Cryptsy on 06-29-2014. At the time of the withdrawal, these were worth approximately .77 BTC, although I realize it is worth considerably less now. These coins were taken from my Cryptsy wallet and basically disappeared. I opened a support ticket with Cryptsy and was given generic "we are aware of the issue and are working on it" responses for the first few weeks. Although I respond to the ticket asking for updates on a weekly basis, Cryptsy has stopped responding and I have heard nothing from them for three weeks. Since Cryptsy recently added USD, and are a US based company, this gives them responsibility to their customers as a financial institution. Their lack of concern for their customers, and, indeed, the fact that they do not even feel the need to respond to queries from customers they have stolen funds from is disturbing. This is no way for a company in the financial sector to act. I have opened a complaint with the Del Rey Beach (Cryptsy headquarter location) Better Business Bureau. The complaint number is # 90267759. The address for the BBB there is http://seflorida.app.bbb.org/search?complaint=Y. I invite all others in a similar situation to also open a complaint to light a fire under Cryptsy's butt to do something about this. The more complaints made, the more pressure on Cryptsy to act. I understand that most of the recent talk has been about how to get away from Cryptsy, but those of us with funds held indefinitely by Cryptsy have no choice but to wait until they finally decide to do something about it. No other business that handles customers money would be allowed to act this way, and it is time that Cryptsy learned that they can't either. Any support would be appreciated. With enough support from the community, we can finally get a resolution to this fiasco. Hello,
I have issues with the FLT wallet. I had closed the wallet after staking and now find it impossible to resync with the blockchain. I have deleted everything and tried to resync from scratch, but the syncing locks up after about 67k blocks. I have ~100k FLT in the wallet, although the stake revenue seems to reset every time that I bring the wallet up. What configuration is necessary to get on the correct block chain and actually sync?

Popshot - this is my transaction ID# a92ae34e2adfd55576feb2f5f387ec6946db5b8cc51923171f87aa848d452a9a - last time you checked and said it was confirmed multiple times. I don't know how to check it however I never received it. I am getting no response from the Cryptsy ticket desk - in fact I am getting my new tickets closed right away without any response at all. I guess I lost my .15 BTC. I would hold off on using Cryptsy for the time being. LOL I was just about to sign up for the USD deposit method to buy more BTC. I guess I will hold off on that one!
is this working? http://dmdpool.digsys.bg/bc/block_crawler.phpi tried to search the TX ID but i got "No information available about transaction(Error Code: -5)" can this be searched from a normal wallet debug console? say by running: getrawtransaction a92ae34e2adfd55576feb2f5f387ec6946db5b8cc51923171f87aa848d452a9a I have the same issue with a 10 day old withdrawal of 2200+ DMD from Cryptsy. They give an invalid TxID (182910f353f0b9a6a4bfedd08d760dda7c0eaf4f14c22d61151986a80b514160), and their support doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. Attempting gettransaction or getrawtransaction from the wallet debug console gives the same error as the block explorer.

The coin is not abandoned, but there was a falling out in the Flying V about a month ago. One of the main Mother Ducks decided to fly south for a couple of extended vacations since the coin launched, he abandoned his ducklings and his duties. A group of volunteers is still working on this coin part time. Everyone who keeps crying scam can quack off We spent about 20 BTC buying duck from miners and investors at cryptorush and c-cex already, and we spent 30-40 btc on building services and marketing for this coin. This latest round of problems has been caused by DuckDuckCoin being upgraded to QT5 for the mac build in February, which has caused conflicts for the developers to build the linux and pc builds since the hard fork. Finally, there was no promises that DUCK was going to to the moon, yes it was the intention of everyone involved to do as much as we could to make it work, but it hasn't worked the way we would like. If course we would all like bitcoin to be at $2000 right now as well. We are all speculators and know the risks of getting involved with cryptocurrencies. We tried a lot, we worked hard, it didn't work out the way we wanted. Duck actually has innovated faster than most coins out there... it's been used kind of as a test bed. We have talented people working on this coin - but unfortunately, the trading community didn't bite. We still have a lot of DuckDuckCoin and a lot of talented people associated with this coin. We have resources, but here's what we need for this coin to work: 1) Community 2) Traders If Duck only has a community of people ragging on the coin, and doesn't have an active traders group backing it ... well then it's going to be tough for the developers to prioritize DUCK since there's not much reward for them. Duck was one of the first coins to implement Kimoto Gravity Well Duck was one of the first coins to patch KGW timewarp attack Duck was one of the first coins to use QT5 build environment If people want to self-organize and take over the DuckDuckFoundation, we have backing and duck to give. This coin was supposed to be a fun experiment in creating a fun community of people who could grab onto something that was silly and light hearted like Dogecoin... something people could joke around with ... it was a self deprecating light hearted experiment... if you were late to the Doge party, you could join the Duck party. That can still happen, but we need some self-organization. Anyway for you to find away to get my ducklins to my wallet? They got lost and never came in.. Here is what info I gathered! http://altexplorer.net/tx/582f007acc3a066aedb32a73b53df7c74431a94b9922bd9b70d6b6c119dbd5c17383551 2014-04-10 17:01:56 Debit_MP Confirmed dVTLY73d...ZGwCvAyd 582f007a...19dbd5c1 n/a 0.11343307 I would like them to come to this wallet once you figure it out... dHCZdQY9HwGcH4cCETn8YhK8H3ekngVh3Y Please, keep me updated! Thank you!! I have the same issue with a deposit a Comkort. Although altexplorer.com shows that the transfer was successfully made into my Comkort deposit address, as seen here: https://altexplorer.net/tx/f947fc640d0eacf0ec538a9ad5a236449ac3dca9a5df02390fa3a938d3e7002b#o0The DuckDuckCoin explorer at http://birdwatcher.duckpond.io/ (which currently can't be reached) showed a completely different address in a different format. Although altexplorer.net shows that the transfer was successful and that the deposit address assigned to me by Comkort still contains the transferred balance, Comkort refuses to acknowledge the deposit until they hear from the DuckDuck coin devs, who have not responded to the query previous in this thread. I assume at this point after two weeks that my deposit is gone and DuckDuck coin is dead with no support?
