Whitecoin type of algorithm: scrypt PoW (closed)/PoS The blockchain hides the amount of currency being generated quite well 79). no, cause then you'd know what the whales are really going to do, lol. i've been asking about this for a week now... also, i understand that the devs have done a good job saving this coin, although a lot of damage has already been done, it's strange to me that chunky would be switching their 3377 port (which up until an hour ago was used to secure the blockchain) to now profit mine directly to the dev's pockets. it's kinda sneaky. and i still don't see this coin alive on the exchanges yet, the wallets are still locked. i think it's a little pre-mature to be begging for donations to the foundation (whatever that is). well if the pow ends perfectly and the exchanges open full throttle, why not already have the donation address put out there? it's like 2 hours away...so what? that's barely enough time to shit and fuck and you are bitching about a donation address? they have been working on it for about a week and haven't asked for shit. -1 if if if if if no more ifssssssssssssssssss facts |

So, while you all bicker and yell and panic like little children, MintPal just released an update. Wasn't as big of an issue as they thought. Trading will be back open soon, but your WC wallets are now unlocked if you wish to withdraw/deposit. Some simple advice I have for every one here posting ridiculously stupid stuff. You are right. WC has a strong community backing. WC is likely to recover as BC did from similar mishaps. I have been around this game for awhile and own a good amount of WC. I won't spread FUD but I already have my next few moves planned out as I hope all smart traders do. I will say I am betting on WC to make a come back fast.
I promised once to never post in a WC thread but i can't resist now. Just a serious question: when did somthing similar happen with BC? BC dev did not dump the coin and ran off BC never went from PoW to a non-existent PoS BC did not have a double spend issue (and i am pretty sure that this was NOT an accident but an initial part of the scam plan) BC has not been suspended on all trading platforms the only thing BC had was an unhealthy pump and a follow up of cheap clones and scam-coins like yours. I can understand that despair and delusion are kicking in here, but there is no reason to tell people such bullshit. +1 WC strong scam community |

You must be a very wise and knowledgeable person, cause I can't explain the way a lot of things work, but i can sure support it. LIke the internet, space travel, flux capcitor  I'm not a god, but not stupid either... |

We are working on the hard fork, however, we are still also ensuring that everyone has some time to breathe.
For now, we believe the block chain is protected so long as growth rates continue on the protection port. It will be necessary for everyone to be on one port if we are to perform the fork. Literally all the hash of whitecoin must be concentrated to one pool for us to take over.
I give you my word that if we do fork the coin (it's look that way, still no word from devs directly to me since I was banned from the channel, it may not have been them) we will turn the coin over to the community via a process that protects everyone and seeks community input as best possible.
If the devs return in the meantime, they'll be able to fix this.
For now, I am feeling very optimistic.

I am Kleeve, from IRC. The original poster of this thread. I'm not a dev, I'm just a PM. Our dev is from Australia. It's a bit late here, so he is sleeping. There is no 51%, nor any other issue. I don't have access to github, but that doesn't mean I'm a liar. When the dev wakes up, I'll let everyone know what's going on with the code.
