We're still getting out the last minor bugs, our wallet dev had some unforseen personal issues this last week and couldnt work on it for a few days, so we're trying to catch up on the missed days for now.

The core functions are working fine, but we don't want to release a product that isn't properly tested and with the small bugs lingering, as we are anticipating quite a large public interest from the crypto-community & media in this release due to the potential applications and adoption from other players in the space (looking at you bitcoin).

We're in the final stages and are working around the clock to make up for the lost days, and will be released when the few bugs are ironed out. We appreciate your support and patience!

"looking at you bitcoin": I like that line.  Cheesy

Thanks for the update! "Breathe, it is not that important!" - I saw this a few weeks ago when you posted something on here. It actually made me breathe a little bit and take a moment to think about it. So thanks Smiley

Has anyone as stupid as me, that had funds in Mintpal, been able to withdraw balances successfully?

I'm going to be needing some help, from anyone that has experience coding the Pandabank or otherwise is computer savvy.

I, without thinking, changed the hardware inside of my machine. The two hard disk drives I had in there were not able to boot because of this change. I wiped the one without pandabank on it and had to do a fresh install on it. If I open the old hard drive which I have not touched, using the other hard drive as the master, I can see Pandabank. I can open it but it gives me a new address. I have a (fairly old) back up of pandabank on that hard drive's desktop, though I don't know where that would be located.

I'm trying to move my coins to an exhange while I mess around with the drives to avoid losing them. How should I proceed to recover that address?

First, stop until we can give you an answer...I don't want to see you lose it.  I will write a response in a sec...

Don't worry, I stopped as soon as I realized it wasn't going to transfer. I'm sitting tight, no rush.

@moolah

Moolah is having to close its doors. So long and thanks for all the fish.

Mintfail V2 is down. Lucky I got all my coins out, hope you all did aswell.  Wink

After the first fail i saved my 150k PND Coins. A good choice!  Grin Cool

I really hope I can get my PND out of there... ugh. I had enough in there that I'll sweat it if I lose it. Turns out getting listed on Bittrex was one of the best gifts whale panda could have given this community...

Dec 2015. 1 PND = $1.00

I would squirt everywhere.

Me too... I think that 2-5¢ is a what we should be shooting for by next December. I don't own very much Pandacoin but if we hit $1 a coin I wouldn't have to worry too much about paying for university anymore haha

Speculating to see Panda hit around 12 Sats today.

There will be no mining unless we meet the minimum BTC. And we only have a few hours and need a min of 83 more BTC. It could happen there was an ICO that sold a few hundred in about a day.

What about lowering expectations and living with what you get? Hard to recover from a failed ICO, it sends a negative message.

You have to remember this ICO is not for my time or something we will try to make in the future. It is for items that have a set price that will be bought with ICO funds.

So what is the B plan if the ICO doesn't sell out? Or would you throw in the towel?

Towel will be thrown in. I can't keep everyone's money tied up hoping people will change their mind. I spent $3k to get it here and I will not do it again. People have voted with their money and they have told me they don't want a coin with an actual plan to make you money. Or they don't want me. I just read some of the recent ICO's and I know what I did wrong. I gave a plan with a lot of planning and thought. That meant you would have to read a bunch. I read some of the others and they say we will work on more things once we get the money. And we are taking a large portion of the funds to pay ourselves. I just can't help but laugh and how people invest. It almost makes me think they have a high amount of BTC. And they buy their own ICO so others will throw their BTC at it. Than they wash a repeat. (Not saying all but some seem like it)

Man that's a shame we're not going to get off the ground. I'm sorry you had so much invested into this :/ You don't think there is any alternative? Really it's such a good idea. People WOULD come if there was a working coin. The name of the game in most coins is expansion over time, all the other ones end up being rushed into with massive support are pump-dumps. Not saying if there was a successful ICO that would have happened, but there may have been merit in trying to start small, which would also help reward early adopters.

I'm sure you have reasons for giving it up, but from looking in as someone that's not a dev, there was so much potential.
This could could have ACTUALLY been different. Not just a new algorithm or other trivial shit.

The Pandacoin website shows up first if you google "pandacoin" Smiley This is very good news!!

If you want this coin to go live make sure you grab it now. I will be on my way back home today. I should get there just after ICO closes.

I want to buy some but my funds have been locked up in Mintpal for over four days. I think they're supposed to be back online at the same time the ico ends :/ Well I'll try and mine it anyway to support the coin.

I hope that you guys/gals are staking while this stuff is going on.

I've been staking for almost 72 hours straight haha

Mintpal is making some really big claims about giving us free trading until the end of the year. The website is completely down... and on Twitter they've been stalling or at least have no idea what's going on. I'm staring to think they've made off with all our hard earned money, but that's just me. God I hope I'm just being paranoid.

I'm honestly very pleasantly surprised with the attitude of the buyPND.com operator.

Had an issue (my fault - I did not read the limit on the unverified buys) with a very large order not being transferred to my wallet address.
Immediately after placing my order, I received an e-mail (that was unfortunately sent to my spam folder and was not discovered for 2 days) explaining what would happen to my ordered coins. I contacted support today, and they were very polite, sympathetic, and understanding of my dilemma. My problem was promptly resolved. A very professional experience.

Thumbs up to you guys!

Yes, they're really good about customer support. The first day that domain was functional I ordered a large amount of panda, around $100, which is over what you could buy without verification. I tried to contact them and resolve the issue, but they just sent it through for me. That probably only happened because it was launch day but it was still very nice of them.

I see, I went back and looked through it. Well at least we are seeing some high volume. That should attract potential investors/users of PND, I would think.

Combined trading volume of more than Darkcoin in the last 24 Smiley

thx for the big dump, also why i wanted to take the coin up slowly and not pump, it results in big dump  Undecided
no worry, next time i will keep by my own pace and not place buy support that high that fast to people to dump/exit on
far from done with this coin, but from now on, my speed, you can push higher yourself but then you responsible for buy support  Cool
more btc coming soon

What dump? It's sitting between seven and eight sats. That's not really a huge dump considering it was at five to six last week.

She's dropping, hopefully it will stabilize in the 7-8 Sat range.

The whales are moving in on Mintpal.

I'm still scared to put money in right now, it has the exact trend of a pump. But obviously Im going to keep my mining ASICs going Wink. It went from $400-800 24 hour activity to $19k 24 hour activity without any new announcements, for this to happen out of the blue is weird. If it is a pump we will see soon, then I will buy up all the dump Cheesy

Can you still mine PND?

Indirectly, yes. POW stage is over for this coin. See the front page of this thread for details. It's well explained.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PND]Pandacoin | Cryptocurrency for the masses | Easy to use, buy, mine and understand | on: September 26, 2014, 04:06:20 AM
The coin needs solid buy support backing it if it's going to stay at this price.

Indeed. but let's see what happens when the whales starts to wake up.

I think there might be a few in there already pushing the price. If it will stay here, well that will remain to be seen. I think this could be a spark of growth for it though. To be honest I think with all that is going on in the background, and what is to come, it should be worth around 10SATS in my opinion. Good to see the coin get some volume at least Smiley It will grab attention
