1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: IntTrader - Bitcoin market trading application and API in development (GitHub) on: August 29, 2015, 04:04:20 PM
Good work Smiley
I was thinking similar direction for app I have. Since getting new job doing web-development all day though, I've lost the desire to spend my free time doing same. lol.
Really like the starting point and impressed with how it works.

Again, good work Smiley

Not that I caught.

If they bother making another 'news' announcement it will either be more excuses or to declare they are bust as a business.

Either way not really 'news' at this point.

alpha-t.net is offline? Byebye my 50+ bitcoins  Undecided

You don't actually think you're going to make any money with these things, do you? There is about a month left before the block reward on Litecoin is cut in half. You won't even be able to sell these on the open market for 1/10th their cost.

Err? What do you think the response is going to be?  Roll Eyes

If they even bother making a response when they miss the next deadline they set themselves, it will be more of the same waffle.
"We need to alter X because our previous design was essentially non-functional as we have no idea what we are doing....", "We are still the best manufacturer...", "Just this last change to make and we will be shipping....".

Same old shit.

Only news from AT I would consider valid is when they officially file for bankruptcy.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next level Bitcoin stress test -- June 29-30 13:00 GMT 2015 on: July 10, 2015, 09:40:59 AM
I gotta agree that a properly set up Linux box is a far better option (for almost everything) than a standard Windows set-up.

Unfortunately I have found through many years of trying to convert people to Linux that unless people grew up with a command line interface that trying to get them to give up on their familiar 'double-click does everything" is near impossible.

People fear the unfamiliar. lol.

So EU is light years ahead of you. Go figure...
Yeah, and the EU is half the size of the USA...

EDIT: You can get cable practically everywhere and fibre in towns as small as 1500 people.
How about outside those towns?
For example, where there's one hour per hectometre.

I thought I'd point out, the EU is not half the size of the US.
The EU outnumbers the USA by nearly 200 million.

EU Population: ~503 Million est.
USA Populaiton: ~318.9 Million est.
I was referring to land mass, not population.
Your information means the EU is 4 times as dense as the US, so easier to build up infrastructure for...

Ah, makes more sense, you are correct there. Also if more people in less space paying similar taxes and rates, why isn't the infrastructure better? Bumming cheap skates. Smiley

Although I want efficient, I really just want the miner period. lol

I'm fully paid up, but at the moment they mine less coins than they burn in elec.
Unless some fool on ebay pays you more than what folk are selling boxes of titans for, this is an expensive room heater now.

I (personaly) couldn't give 1 f**k if they deliver or not at this point. Either way profit vanished a long time ago.

I'm personally not expecting a shipping date until at least the 50mhs units are costing $.0.01 more to run than they can mine.
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free multi-exchange trading platform - with source code on: December 05, 2014, 12:49:10 PM
05/12/2014 - Updated Bitcoin Indonesia. Tested with dummy data.

To folks asking for a linux version: This may be close at hand! Smiley

Microsoft has recently open-sourced the .Net framework and is working with the Mono project to expand the ability to build .Net apps for platforms other than Windows.

In short, there may soon be versions for all major platforms.
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free multi-exchange trading platform - with source code on: December 04, 2014, 02:00:06 PM
Updated to include Bicoin.co.id, see main post for all details and links

[Updated to version 1.0.1.3]
Now added Bittrex exchange. See main post for details and new link.
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Free multi-exchange trading platform - with source code on: October 10, 2014, 08:36:32 AM
Updated to version 1.0.028

Initial post has the details.

Very, very nice work man. Think it possible to add bittrex? That is the only thing that this is missing Grin

Thanks for the compliment Smiley
Would be pretty easy to add Bittrex with how the app works. At the moment I don't have an account on Bittrex to test with though, so it will be further down the pipeline before it is added.
Thanks again for the interest and support Smiley

Is this a windoze app? If so, are you planning on rolling out a Linux version?

Yes, this is currently a windows app.
To run in Linux you would probably need to run a virtual machine, as I doubt wine would work for this.

The roadmap for development currently stands as such:
1) Windows Pro Version
2) Android / Raspberry Pi Companion App

A fully features Linux version will be hopefully included at a later date.

As I have now hard-forked the pro version, thought I would give this to the community for free along with the source code.

[Description]
SIDTraderLite is a simple, lightweight crypto-currency trading platform supporting multiple exchanges.

Currently supported exchanges are:
-Bitcoin.co.id(Bitcoin Indonesia)
-Bittrex
-BTCe
-Cryptsy
-Kraken
-Poloniex

Main features currently include:
-NO API KEYS STORED!
That one I thought deserved capitalistion. Rather than going for the approach many other platforms take of storing API keys using encryption and then decrypting for use, this application only stores a HMAC512 hash of your key using enchaned SHA256 encryption. This means your actual private keys are impossible for a hacker to retrieve.

-Password protected user accounts.
As with API keys, passwords are not stored. Instead the application takes the proper approach of storing an irreversible salted hash of your password.

-Dynamically generated, periodically checked market lists.
If a new market is added while the application is running it will alert you so you can take early action.

-Dynamically calculated 'rates' panel
Upon loading an exchange the application identifies currency bases and displays the last trade for base pairs (eg LTC/BTC, BTC/USD)

-Zoomable charts for every market.
Whether the exchange has chart data available through the API or not, this application will present you with OHLC charts for every market. As well as being zoomable they are also annotated with highest price, lowest price and time period.

-Conditional Orders
Basically internally stored stop-limit orders. Set the conditions and the application will perform the trade if conditions are met.

-Market Settings
Intended mainly to display min\max price\volume when dictated by the exchange, these settings can be altered by the user if desired (for such purposes as preventing mis-reading a quickly entered price and selling for 0.001 rather than 0.01).

-Adjustable update periods
Each exchange can be updated from it's default update period of a few minutes to any timespan you would like.

-Big Red 'Wipe' Button
Last on the list, for added security there is a big red button that will wipe all stored user data instantly.

Screenshots of the application can be found here - http://imgur.com/a/F2cnx

17  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitstamp BTC live trade ticker combined with STR chart and value - FREE! :) on: September 21, 2014, 10:14:46 PM

Hope folk find a use for it Smiley
18  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple javascript realtime cryptsy ticker - free :) on: September 20, 2014, 07:00:33 PM
the way to find market id's on cryptsy is to look at the number at the end of the url when viewing the market.
for example the link for BTC/USD is https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/2, meaning the market id is 2.
hope that  helps Smiley
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple javascript realtime cryptsy ticker - free :) on: September 20, 2014, 10:56:18 AM
It will say that until a trade notification is received. Depending how active the market you have it set to is will determine how long you have to wait to see a change. Working fine for me set to DOGE.
This only waits for notice of a trade occurring, it can't make the market trade faster. Smiley
20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Simple javascript realtime cryptsy ticker - free :) on: September 20, 2014, 10:26:09 AM
Here's a simple ticker I built to get the last trade price for a given market from Cryptsy's pusher feed.
The example is set up for DOGE, but just change the market id to switch to any other currency.

http://jsfiddle.net/12rasuxa/7/

Hope the community find this useful Smiley
