Multi-key:

The latest multi-key approaches to Bitcoin key management are a needed evolutionary step past the flawed hot/cold wallet model, a primary cause for the loss of many users funds to failed Bitcoin banks.

Monetsu's approach to multi-key management is similar to LastPass for brain wallets. This approach means the user solely holds a portion of their key as their login credentials, while Monetsu's service holds a second secure key component. The keys are only used to authenticate transactions on Monetsu's secure servers, and as with any secure web application, user's credentials are never stored.

The advantage of Monetsu's approach is that users are able to sign in to the Bitcoin network like any online banking service, and when they sign off, their key goes offline with them!

Security:

The additional security benefits Monetsu provides comes from the unique use of a modern secure web authentication process for use directly with Bitcoin keys. This eliminates additional points of control or failure in providing users direct access to their Bitcoin funds over the web.

Importantly this simplified approach lets the security team at Monetsu focus more directly on providing the most secure access point to Bitcoin on the web, with forthcoming white papers on implementation and other technical innovations to follow this release.

Additional security features to be implemented will include: second factor authentication, third party oracle and escrow service integration, and peer-to-peer shared access to Bitcoin accounts through multi-signature support.

Trust:

Bitcoin comes with very different risks for consumers, and it is a challenge to build trust in the new Bitcoin economy. Not only is there a need for a safe and easy way to use Bitcoin, but users also need to know who they can trust in this new pseudo-anonymous system.

Monetsu's social features allow users to privately connect and establish a trusted network of peers so they can know how trusted a business or merchant is, or discover which merchants those they trust already use.

Privacy:

Monetsu allows users to manage their Bitcoin accounts while adding an additional layer of pseudo-anonymity for increased privacy. This also allows for seamless account rollover all while maintaining the user's private trusted network.

Monetsu's Vision:

At Monetsu, we believe decentralized computing systems and their ability to securely manage financial data have the potential to be one of the biggest technological disruptions in recent human history. By eliminating centralized control over currency, the true promise of crypto-financial technology is a financial system that accurately reflects the limited nature of resources on our planet.

Monetsu's mission is to create innovative solutions for the advancement and spread of decentralized financial technology in promoting a sustainable global economy. We look forward to being a part of a growing technological and social movement to make this revolutionary technology accessible to everyone.
