1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Keyhunt - development requests - bug reports on: April 11, 2022, 08:57:31 PM
Hello Albert0bsd,

a probably stupid question, but is it actually possible to mine Bitcoin using BSGS algorithm? If not possible, why not?

much regards!
2  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 2% fee solo mining 265 blocks solved! on: April 10, 2022, 10:06:45 AM
Hello willi and everyone,

I have a few questions about mining because i'm still a beginner, and would really be happy if you can answer them for me, because i'm sure your an Bitcoin expert.

1- let's take block height 731248 for example, the hash of that block is 0000000000000000000932577f24607495a93060ff4823a7c6f4a2b9db9582ee.
my question is, what is the miner hashing all together that in the end he gets that block hash that is accepted by the network?
could you please write an example, on what hashes something, that is the result of the block hash? which is 0000000000000000000932577f24607495a93060ff4823a7c6f4a2b9db9582ee.
I know that the end hash-result should be starting with a lot of zeros, but i'm always wondering which value(s) the miner is hashing to get that end block hash result.

2- What is a good mining speed nowadays to get a good-imaginable chance to hit a block? in peta/s if possible.

3- Do you think 100 peta/s has a good chance to hit a block?

4- What you think, how much would 100 peta/s would cost to run in term of electricity?

Thank you so much for reading, and have a good day.  Smiley

I found a method to find any private key within 2^255 bit space. Is that new?
Fake! Don't trust anything like this.

i think no body will buy them.
the fact that it has a price for hints make me think this is all a scamm
8  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 17, 2022, 05:52:18 PM
they do why not? 12 are Hex decimals, so they can be accepted as a Hex 64 privkey .
maybe they are sitting in the orange missing letters? only 2 characters fits in the orange, so maybe 12 belongs to the orange XX
correct me, if i'm wrong
so it'll probably be 7XX4 = "7124"
9  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 17, 2022, 05:42:06 PM
why 12 = C ?
explain please.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: March 11, 2022, 10:27:26 PM
Never give up on puzzle 64 guys!
it's only damn 16 HEX characters!
11  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 10, 2022, 08:30:19 PM
DON'T PAY THIS MADAFAKER ANY ETH OR FUNDS! UNLESS of course he signs a message using the Puzzle address. otherwise go fu*ck yourself scammer piece of shit wasting our time.
12  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 03, 2022, 07:22:56 PM
You love fake puzzles? Cheesy
I have no idea sadly about the public key.
better solve puzzle 64 instead of this shit.
13  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 03, 2022, 07:17:28 PM
But he could at any time transfer the funds and make the treasure hunt ... a rip off.
It is more a sort of trap to waste computing power / time

dear Dylan41, just sign a message please it's that simple. We're waiting for your respond.
Not necessarily, if he just sign a message with the puzzle address we'd surely try to solve the puzzle, after making sure it's a legit one.
14  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 03, 2022, 06:56:29 PM
If you sign a message, will the public key be known?
What benefit can be gained by creating such a topic with a fake challenge?
i'm not sure if the public key will be shown after signing a message.
probably just a teen who wants to waste our time?
WE don't even know if the puzzle is given in compressed address or uncompressed. this makes the puzzle 2x times harder if it was real. I don't think this puzzle is possible.
15  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Alpha Challenge 815.85631744 BTC on: March 03, 2022, 06:50:21 PM
Stop wasting your time guys. why would someone who died giveaway 800 bitcoins like this to strangers, rather giving it to family / friends members? we want to OP to sign a message or either stop wasting our time. or prove that puzzle is legit.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: February 28, 2022, 08:41:33 PM
Puzzle 64 is insane. like i've been running my GPU 2080ti 24/7 and still not getting luck. even though it's only 16 HEX characters.
i'm suspecting, that the address of the puzzle 64 is not in the range that is suppose to be.
What you think guys?
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Missing 10 Characters in WIF Private Key - Can I recover them? on: January 18, 2022, 08:19:46 PM
its more than 16 days now... I hope you could find something bro.
18  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pollard's kangaroo ECDLP solver on: January 05, 2022, 03:51:28 PM
Alpaste
I also hold this opinion. But I doubted, re-reading the forum posts because NotATether claimed that it is possible to calculate ..
NotATether can dispel the myth?

This claim might be not true at all. If it's possible then, why he himself "NotATether" didn't calculate the private key for the puzzle transactions and withdraw its funds?
19  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pollard's kangaroo ECDLP solver on: January 05, 2022, 02:10:15 PM
I think it's impossible to calculate the upper bits of the key, even if you know that this private key lies in the 2^120 bits-range.
The only way to get the key, is to use kangaroo, or BSGS, but the chances that you find the key is extremely low.
Cheers!
