FP91G,

Thanks for confirming that I bought the wrong cards many months ago.  The RD 5600 XT Mech OC are the ones I've got and I have been fighting them since day one.  You're right they make for multiple problems when mining.  When I set everything to the Defaults they are relatively stable @ ~38.2. but suck up lots of power.  I'll try playing with each one separately and see if I can get a little more out of them.  I got spoiled with the Nvidia 1070's and various models of the 1660 cards that I used on several other miners.  Just crank the Voltage down to 70% and crank up the Memory Clock and forget about them.  Oh well, it's a hobby!

The RM 5600 XT works fine with standard settings of 40-41 megahash.
If you need to get a higher hash rate, then you need to flash the BIOS of the video card. Then you can get 44-45 megahash.
Different video cards may have problems, for example, the video output stops working, so you need to read the forums for each of the models.

I'm going no where with these MSI 5600 XT cards.  I'm using MSI Afterburner to control the settings on the cards.  I have Sync turned on so all the cards get the same treatment.  If I lower the Core Clock to 1700 vs the stock 1780 the system eventually hangs with the Power Limit set to -10%.  I ran GPUZ 2.37 and discovered three of the cards have Micron memory and one has Samsung Memory.  The GPU Power Draw is 109W on the Samsung Memory card and 121,121, and 128W on the Micron cards.  So...do I need to try OC'ing (Actually D-Clocking to reduce total Wattage used by this system) each card separately since they seem to have different characteristics?  At least all the cards have the same BIOS Version 017.001.000.068.0000 if that means anything.

I must have 4 bad 5600 XT cards.  Running with the stock settings "core clock 1700" and "memory clock 1750" and the Power override via Afterburner set @ "power limit -10%" the best I get is ~38.2M/H.

One thing I have stumbled into with these cards is with the Power Limit @ -30% the cards are the most efficient miners compared to the Nvidia 1600 GPU's I have on other systems but they show many "stales" and hang Windows once a day or so.  When I run the cards @ -20% the stales go away and the efficiency drops off slightly but the cards still cause Windows to hang once a day or so.  When I run the cards @ -10% the cards are almost last on the efficiency rating but seem very stable and run at ~57c with the fans set a 30% minimum.  Since going to the -10% setting they been running for 65+ hours with no issues and only 2 stales.

What am I missing?

Is there a site somewhere that explains the missing stuff in the example bat file?

Yes, the Readme.txt included in the miner archive.

Thanks for the information.  I found the "mode" and "Rmode" but cannot find the "-epsw" command mentioned anywhere in the Readme.txt that came with PhoenixMiner 5.5c.  Did I miss it somehow or is it left over from a Claymore bat file?  Is it needed in the PhoenixMiner bat file?

I am using Phoenix Miner ver. 5.5c to mine ETH using systems with Nvidia and AMD GPU's.  The example bat file shown on PhoenixMiner's site work okay.  However, there are several commands in the bat file that are not described in the "PhoenixMiner Command Line Options (Extra Launch Parameters)".  Examples are "-epsw" or "-mode 1" or "-Rmode 1".  I have searched for an explanation of these commands and have come up empty!  Is there a site somewhere that explains the missing stuff in the example bat file?  Also, what does the "-ACM" command do for AMD GPU's?  I do not have this in the bat file for the system with the AMD RM 5600 XT's and all seems to work.  Am I missing something?  Help appreciated.
