Joe Smith: "Mr bank, please initiate EFT to account XYZ." Bank: K. Dwolla: Funds received to Mr. Bogus T. Fradulent's account. Joe Smith aka Bogus T Fradulent: "Mr Dwolla, please send em to Trade Hill, account ABC " Dwolla: K. Trade Hill: "Funds received to Bogus T Fradulent's account." Joe Smith aka Bogus T Fradulent: "BUY BUY BUY SEND SEND SEND" Joe Smith: "Mr bank, I made an error. I sent to account XYZ, I meant PDQ." Bank: K. EFT reversed, reason of Joe Smith's funds deposited to wrong account. Dwolla, never mind that deposit to account XYZ.
Which brings up the question -- What is Dwolla's business model? How can they do no chargebacks at only 25 cents per transaction? One fraudulent payment reversal in every 5,000 transactions would bankrupt them. They've clarified it today. They do chargebacks. Unfortunately they had told us that they don't. It's 4:15, I'm going to get some sleep, I'll be available tomorrow. Jered Well there goes Dwolla and Paypal. Too bad traditional banking institutions are the ones causing the currency fraud.

No, it is not. There is an implicit tax on all transactions in future claims unless the claims are issued by the blockchain itself. This has been discussed in this thread and my thread on "securing contingent claims" I guess what you're wanting then is what was suggested earlier of a bondcoin backed by the bitcoin chain. Bitcoin wasn't really created to take on all functions of a market (at least I believe that). It is the digital equivalent to gold. It's entire purpose it to open up a new canvas of money aside from the traditional system and change the perception of who should control money. This looks a little hard to implement or not even worthwhile in the main bitcoin chain, so I would suggest getting it implemented in the testcoin chain and seeing if there is a demand for bondcoins. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/TestnetI'm sure if enough people get into the idea it could become possible from a free enterprise perspective. There's even a post about it: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=7219.0

What types of apps/clients are being developed? We need POS, security, repair/recovery, backup, mobile to mobile, mobile to pc, and some unconventional financial tools. The open-sourced tools that have been released so far give a glimpse of the potential. Can we have a hint of what is next?
Open Transactions solves all of these. https://github.com/FellowTraveler/Open-Transactions/wiki

I'm just going to be completely honest and one may not like it.
Making a website will probably be 100% of ones own labor and even then people may or may not use it.
Websites are not easy. They require programming and graphic art skills which are typically paid $50-80/hr.

Let me run in to town and ask what prices were. I needed an ambitious reason to go and check.
100% cotton, V-neck Pocket T-shirt, 2 and 3 XLT with logo?
fyi: the logo will most likely be the expensive part as it will involve a different company. i bet getting something embroidered would be much cheaper
I don't care about the logo. I was just using that shirt for reference. What is "quite cheap"? How much would it be for a tailored suit? I'd send you whatever measurements you need
I'm also curious of the prices for a tailored suit. Now I'm interested.

To clarify-- I want a registered XFX card for the lifetime warranty. I'll only accept XFX brand and registered if anyone is trying to sell used.
I'll buy any other 6870 card for 8.5 BTC.

I'm sure you could sell PDFs of them pretty cheap.

Currency exchange, that way ->
I wouldn't really call it a currency exchange since I'm doing the same thing with EVE money.

How may PLEX would you buy at 1.25 each?
I'd buy about 4 right now although you'd be responsible for getting them to Jita.
