may be wait for sometime till the volume rises. If XCN is not profitable to mine, the farms will move coins with higher demand. If XCN is being mined at a loss, it may indicate miners are hloding and speculating, not dumping. What does it cost for a low cost farm (cheapest rent/power/labor, paid-for hardware, proprietary miner) to mine 1 XCN at current difficulty? Maybe I can just look for large bids to figure this out? It is not profitable for AMD cards with electricity over $0.12 /kWh. Now the price is very low. |

My turn: OMFGContrary to popular opinion- I do sleep. I was asleep when it sold out. Apparently some jacka*ss with 2 BCT accounts spammed the crap out of the thread while i slept. I have deleted the spam, and the quotes. Thank you to all those who corrected this jerk.VERY excited that we sold out but the work is not done. The entire team has been up around the clock (almost!) working on this stuff. The launch is STILL AUGUST 16. true The list is not syncing fast - oldschool manualstyle this is to reduce multiple accounts to apply for the giveaway, i guess. What we can see is that there's already a huge interest and there are still 3 weeks to go. The whole giveaway will last 6 months. That will be a really fair distribution in the end. The more people have some PMP the better it will be for the coin. This is exactly the reason we are doing it manually. We may switch to an automated system in the very near future that compiles the list, then we will manually review the applicants and weed out the sockpuppets. This way users will show up almost immediately after applying for stake, while still reducing double-dipping. I'm spending an inordinate amount of time reviewing accounts though when I should be focusing on other things. Hoping to optimize the system over the next couple days.
