1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 13, 2024, 04:50:11 PM

Verstappen is much more comfortable in his place after the Canadian Grand Prix. I wish Leclerc had a much better race to follow him closer.  Sad  I don't have an expectation like Verstappen to lose the title though. But at least seeing some competition would save the championship from being monotonous.

If only Ferrari strategists could do their job well, this could very well be achieved. Because to be honest, at yesterday's Canadian race, Charles was like a joke because the Ferrari strategist was not only stupid, but this was also exacerbated by his engine problems which made the performance of the VCARB much better than the Ferrari. I'm afraid things like this will affect Ferrari's performance and hopefully that's the last thing.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: June 13, 2024, 04:33:59 PM
I'm surprised by the price of petrol in your country which is around $2.10AUD, whereas in that country it's around 1 USD per liter (1.55AUD) even though my country is a third country, while your country is a developed country, even the average wage of people here is only 250 USD per month, and I bet that the average wage of people in that country is far more than my country - and you say that it's already hard enough because of the increase in prices and goods in your country, what about my country? lol. I feel like it's a joke that I don't feel anything that significant, or that people in my country are used to economic difficulties so they don't feel those difficulties that much? lmao.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How were you able to handle a losing streak up to 5 times and above? on: June 13, 2024, 04:11:51 PM
And because of this, it is important for gamblers to have self-control so that they can be calmer when facing a losing streak. Just imagine if it was a novice gambler, maybe he would immediately scream in his room and cry about the money he lost, because from the start he gambled money he couldn't afford to lose - he gambled money thinking that it would be very easy for him to win. Gamblers must be able to have good risk management and understand their abilities, so that when they face an annoying situation like this, they understand it better and don't rush into making decisions that they can regret even more.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China going to shift from Gold to crypto as ICBC considers ETH a digital oil? on: June 13, 2024, 03:50:06 PM

with such news, is it a sign?

ICBC is one of the largest banks globally, with assets reaching trillions of dollars, that makes them a bank that has quite a good reputation globally and with their "positive" statement on Bitcoin and Ethereum it may be a sign that they are not completely closed off by developments from the crypto market. It's just that they are limited by Chinese government regulations and I am sure that there is something positive about their statement, since ICBC is majority owned by the Chinese government and it is impossible for their statement to be issued without the Chinese government considering it, so there is no need to be surprised that Maybe in the future China will open up to crypto trading or ETFs.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 12, 2024, 02:16:57 PM

Are you like me? Gambling with no sense of goal, direction?

I'm not ambitious about wanting something from gambling, because I think that gambling is not a path that can take me to my goal - it's just as simple as playing and getting entertainment from it without hoping that I can become a successful person from it. Because if you want to achieve something and hope for gambling which carries the risk that you could lose your money, then gambling is not an activity that you can do. It's better to have hope in your job or whatever you're doing now than in gambling - it's much more realistic and your risk of losing money is lower.

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is web3 casino the new trend for casinos? on: June 12, 2024, 01:23:54 PM
I don't really believe in casinos that really enhance privacy and security for users by not imposing KYC on them but still complying with regulators. Because how can they be a regulated casino but not enforce a KYC policy on their platform? KYC is a basic requirement for a casino to be regulated and that is contrary to what they say. And the jargon "Web3: Anonymity and Privacy" is just a gimmick in my opinion to attract interest from potential users to be able to use their services, even though in fact they are the same as other crypto casinos.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Odds discussion) Would you still stick in your favorite casino if....? on: June 11, 2024, 01:09:03 PM
Would you shift to the sportsbook with bigger odds or would you stay?

I will stick to the sportsbook that I usually use, even if other sportsbooks have bigger odds. The reason is because I am used to using the sportsbook and their service has made me comfortable using them. Even though they have smaller odds, I don't want to complicate my life just for a sportsbook that has odds that are not that significantly different.
9  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: Kesalahan Umum Trading Aset Crypto on: June 11, 2024, 11:27:52 AM

10  Economy / Economics / Re: Hunger in a country known for agriculture. on: June 11, 2024, 11:06:21 AM
-snip-
I think most people in Nigeria are illiterate in agriculture, they have not received any formal education on agriculture. As a result they are failing to produce more crops which has created food shortages in their country At times climate change, increased pest infestations and increased incidence of diseases in cultivated crops have increased the likelihood of crop failure, which is sufficient to cause food shortages in a country.

Not only do most people not have good knowledge about how to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the agricultural sector, but the government also seems to not care about farmers. Because financing and supporting infrastructure for the agricultural sector should be supported directly by the government, so that farmers can get access to advanced processing that is more affordable and makes things easier for them. However, the government seems to not care about this problem and prefers to import more food and agricultural products, which could be reduced drastically if the government cared more about their people.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: June 11, 2024, 10:41:13 AM
Anything that has the potential to cause addiction to society, if it is not regulated and given proper education about it, will have a negative effect on society - especially for people with low education. So the casino is actually not bad for society, only if it is regulated and people are given a good understanding of it by gambling responsibly and properly managing their finances. And it also goes back to the individual, because people who have good education and good self-control are less likely to be exposed to irresponsible gambling and become gambling addicts.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to buy huge Bitcoin on: June 10, 2024, 04:56:51 AM
What do you mean by "pass Satoshi text" I just can't get it. However, if you want to buy that amount of Bitcoin, it is better for you to contact the exchange representative directly and they will facilitate you with a more secure and cheaper transaction, and maybe you will need a lawyer in this process because it is a transaction of a large amount.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you lost the money that you where supposed to withdraw from online casino? on: June 10, 2024, 04:28:13 AM
Maybe that's the reason why the casino doesn't process its users' withdrawals and doesn't freeze the money in their accounts while the process is taking place. Because they will be sure that the gambler will most likely play while waiting for the withdrawal process and at that time they will probably use the money they should have withdrawn to play and without the gambler realizing the money they should have withdrawn, they have gambled it all away. This is the reason why many gamblers experience cases like this, because they cannot control themselves and gamble money that they should not gamble with.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BTC stability on: June 10, 2024, 03:54:34 AM
Only countries cannot use Bitcoin as their reserves, but large companies can use Bitcoin as a value reserve for their companies, because Bitcoin's performance is quite good in recent years and its potential in the future. Talking about its volatility, it's actually not a big deal, seeing as how companies don't need to allocate all their money to Bitcoin - they can diversify their investments across several investment instruments, unless they are stupid enough to go all-in on Bitcoin.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: June 10, 2024, 03:30:15 AM
It could definitely be settled in court, but the defendant needs to pay up the money. That statement depends on where the loan came from; if it were a bank loan, the already paid collateral will be used to clear the loan and, there's certainly no case for his children. If he got it from any other monetary institutions, it'll not just need a refund but they'll calculate penal interest, should he fail to make payment .

What's the essence of putting people through some unnecessary stress of working to pay up a huge debt that you accumulated, all by yourself? What ideas are you passing on to your kids on good parenting?

As far as I understand, if the loan comes from a bank, then the loan will be paid off when the borrower dies and family members no longer need to be burdened with the loan. However, if the loan is from a third party, for example a loan shark or cooperative, which has a loan agreement which states that family members need to pay the loan even when the borrower dies, then the family members or children will inherit the loan. And that is what usually happens in casinos, where they design the loan to be passed on to family members/heirs appointed by the borrower. And people like this who are in debt and pass on their debts to others are the type of people who are selfish and have no feelings.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 10, 2024, 02:47:27 AM
The racing was quite exciting, where there were lots of overtakes and the wet track made it more challenging for the drivers. However, it is very unfortunate that both Ferrari drivers had to DNF, and it made me quite stressed watching them. And for Russell, this was quite a challenging race for him, where he not only had to fight Max but also Lando, but in the end he had to give up his P1 and finish in P3, even though I hope that at least he can get P1 in this race, but yeah luck wasn't on his side. Overall this race was quite exciting, but I just didn't really like the results.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 09, 2024, 01:53:01 PM
-snip-

The shocking part of the session was seeing Ferrari drivers out in Q2 already...  Sad  The reason is predicted to be cold weather. Because Ferrari has tyres which need more time to be warmed.

Lastly great job by Racing Bulls! Ricciardo got the 5th place and Tsunoda is behind by 3 places.

Yeah, I watched the qualifying, but I fell asleep 10 minutes into the session, because it's 4AM in my country, and in the morning I was a little disappointed with Ferrari's result and quite surprised at how Russell got pole position. But even so, I still have hope that Ferrari can improve their performance in the next racing session, at least they should be able to get a top 10 position.
And for Daniel and Yuki, they both really showed very good performance in yesterday's qualifying session, especially Daniel who answered his self-criticism by showing that he can still give his best performance with a car like that. I hope the best for them.
18  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: Dengan adanya crypto apakah ekonomi anda terbantu? on: June 08, 2024, 05:23:42 AM

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 08, 2024, 05:00:02 AM
Cars got some upgrades today.

Redbull got a new rear wing, and some changes on the front one.
Mercedes changed the front suspension, Front corner.
Ferrari and Mclarens has no updates.

Also Verstappen asked for more upgrades cause RBR is loosing the gap  Grin

And the results were not very satisfying, because in the FP1 and FP2 sessions Max did not get good performance and had poor grip. However, I don't know whether in the qualifying session they will be able to improve their strategy to be able to face the race, but if they can't improve it is very likely that Max will only be in the top 5, just like yesterday's Monaco race.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 07, 2024, 09:12:12 AM
That is something to be appreciated, good job! with what you do, it will make your customers curious about what Bitcoin is and that will indirectly introduce Bitcoin to them. But just a question, what are the Bitcoin regulations in your country, is it allowed to pay using Bitcoin? because in my country, people are only allowed to trade Bitcoin, but when it comes to payment they have to pay with fiat and cannot replace it with Bitcoin. You need to understand this, because even though it is a good thing to campaign for Bitcoin in your business, you also need to think about using it in your business, don't let it become a problem for you later.
