1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Miners.(eu,nl,de,...) bait and switch scammers on: March 16, 2021, 09:49:59 AM
So let me start out by saying I made an account here to make sure people are aware of what kind of company this is and how they do business.

I ordered an Innosilicon A10 Pro + in January for around 10.000 euro's. Them claiming the batch I would receive would arrive and of january or beginning February. All went well and I waited.
And waited.
And waited....

And then, Acouple of weeks in February I contacted them. Since they didn't inform me about my order.
They assured me it would arrive in March.

Sure

So I waited untill March
First week of March, no miner, no information, no nothing.
So I devised a plan.

I sent them 2 emails. One from my account I made the order with, and one from one of my other email accounts.
One asking about my order and demanding answers for their tardiness, the other asking to buy a couple of Innosilicon A10 Pro +'s.

Guess what, they didn't reply  to my order status request, but they did call me the same day to confirm they had A10 Pro + in stock and I could come pick them up in their office without issue.
I was furious. They increased the price of the miners by 8000 euro's and had them in stock, yet refused to give them to the customers who ALREADY PAID.
However, I kept my cool and told them I could go and pick them up in their office, no problem he said.

So the next day I went to their office, details will follow. The guy was happy to show me their stock, told me new stock comes in next week too should I want more. After a bit of prodding, he also admitted that if you make large orders, you get to jump the queue and they'll give your miner first.
Yeah.
So, after he stacked a couple of miners I was pretending to buy, including a A10 Pro + we went over to the small matter of paying.
That's when I whipped out a stack of documents.
Emails, Invoice, Bank transfer, Call logs, you name it, I had it ready to show the dude. I was not angry, I wasn't threatening. I was just very clear they should hand over the miner I already paid for.

The guy was all like : "Yeah my boss this and that" "Ok, i get it" "why weren't you honest"
Really, as if you'd really hand me my miner if it didn't stand right in front of me.
I put the miner in my car and we drove away.

But wait, there is more.
On our way home I got an email from them.

"you threatened our colleague, we gave you the wrong miner, we didn't have a choice but to give you a miner to avoid escalation, bring back our miner!"
basically this.
Now I went to my lawyer and told him the situation. He helped me write an email that perfectly explains the situation and how they are accusing me of theft is unheard of.

They replied with the simple statement that either:
1. we send them back the miner
2. they go to the cops for theft
Or they would be forced to contact innosilicon to shut down my miner.

I no longer replied to them, had some more contact with my lawyer about this issue and called the cops to inform them of what is happening.

To be continued
