1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blazecoin **BLZ** - Now with a new Android Mobile Wallet on: August 17, 2014, 04:57:51 PM
I have about 300,000 blaze coins stuck in unconfirmed status. I had more than this before, but was able to get them back by making a back up of my wallet.dat and then deleting the blaze coin folder in appdata.

Then i started the blazecoin wallet and let it sync for a few mintues, then turned off the wallet and then added in my back up wallet.dat and let it sync. By doing this, i was able to get back about $300k in coins, but i still have 2 transactions that will not confirm. 1 is 100k and the other is 200k.

It seem like when i send large amounts of blazecoin the wallet gets stuck and this seems to happen, so i've been limiting my sends to 50k. This has seemed to help not getting any other coins unconfirmed. Also i wait until the 50k has been confirmed before sending more coins. If i send 50k in coins and then send another 50k in coins right away, the coins seem to get stuck in unconfirmed status.

Does anyone know why this is happening or how to get back my 300k in blazecoins or at least have them get confirmed? Anyone else having this issue?  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Thal

Is there any other pool available to mine banksycoin? I'm looking on google and find nothing.

How long is the proof of work stage suppose to last? I hope a while. Some coins the proof of work stage lasts 1 week. Does anyone know the approximate time stage for proof of work before it is only proof of stake?

i tried to add those nodes to the debug window console. After trying to add them it says "Method not found (code -32601)"

Is this where i add the nodes? not sure where to find the conf file.

I can't get my wallet to sync. It's version 1.3.0.0   It says 0 connections at the bottom right. I tried reinstalling too. Any suggestions on how to get the wallet to sync? Thanks. Thal

can someone start a mining pool? that will help save and boost iceberg coin.  mining will build constant buying pressure for the coin, every day of every hour.  right now it's stagnating.

I would do it if I had the technical know how. I think a mining pool is a good start to getting the coin on track.  Have it like blackcoin's pool where we can mine with asics, sha-256 etc.

There is no mining on this one, it is already in POS.

Please join: I want to create a team, a new team that will work together to bring ICB back to life. Too much people has spend money on this one. Ok, if we were not listed on cryptsy and bittrex i would say, fuck you ICB, but now it is a little more important to keep it alife, a lot of money has been spend on this one, during ICO, during mining, during trading. There has been successful takeovers like VOOT and Pinkcoin. Pitty that MsCollec is too busy, as he would really be able to move this one to the moon what he did with VOOT and SYNC.

yes I know the mining phase is over for icebergcoin, but we can still mine another coin and trade them for icebergcoin which will create buying power which can help move iceberg.

blackcoin's mining phase is over too, but they still mine other coins and trade them into blackcoin's which creates buying power for the coin, which in turn makes the coin go up in value. Look at blackcoin's mining pool.  They mine other coins and trade into blackcoins.

Can someone start a mining pool? DEV said he was going to start one, but i have not seen anything yet. This will help bring up the value of the coin. Follow blackcoin's pool where they have every algorythim to mine other coin's and trade into blackcoins. Just like blackcoin's mining pool.

We need a pool to mine every other coins and trade into iceberg. This will also help move up the value of iceberg which creates buy orders.

If you are still mining, then it's not dead. If the wallet is not off line, then it's not dead.  Regarding if the coin is a scam, no one knows. We will all just have to wait and see.

To Development team or person:

You mentioned starting a multipool mining NIST5 or some other low power consumption algorithm.  May i suggest you set up a multipool with every alogriithm.  I have a bunch of scrypt miners and if you just set up for NIST5, i can not point my scrypt miners towards this multipool which means lost hashrates for the coin. Same for SHA-256 etc. Just having NIST5 will be selling this coin short. Take a look at the blackcoin mining pool, they have every algorithm running.  Just a suggestion. Thanks.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / gridseed miners mine for like 30 seconds sometimes and say "dead" on: April 29, 2014, 12:37:35 AM
I"m trying to get 4 gridseed miner to run together. I'm using a raspberry pi with bfgminer as the software. Here is the weird thing. If i take 2 miners and hook the usb chord from the miner directly to the raspberry pi, i can get 2 miners running. the bfgminer program detects the miners and i'm hashing away with 2 miners.

when i try to get 4 miners running together through the powered usb hub (sabrent 13 port usb powered hub) is when i have trouble. bfg miner will sometimes detect all 4 miners and it's starts to mine, but never gets up to full hashing. then the hashing starts to die off and i get a "dead" status after about a minute

other times i can't even get it to detect the 4 miners at all.  If i skip the usb2.0 hub, then i can get 2 miners to run directly into the raspberry pi.

i believe the usb hub is compatible becuase i bought it from gaw miners.

Here is my scrypt i run at the command line inside the bfgminer directory.

screen ./bfgminer -S gridseed:all --set-device gridseed:clock=850 --failover-only --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://dogus.nut2pools.com:5585 -u thallium1.thallium5 -p x

Anybody have an suggestions what i might be doing wrong? Any help would be apreciated. Thanks, Thal

Update: I'm thinking it might be the powered usb hub. I tried plugging the usb hub directly to my computer instead of the raspberry pi and my computer does not recognize the usb hub. So i think it might be that. What do you guys think? Did i answer my own question?

If i buy a new powered 2.0 hub, what would you guys recommend for the raspberry pi? 7 to 10 ports would be nice, i'd like to add more gridseed later once i get these 4 running.
