If someone restarted this project with a few improvements: PoS, lots of photos and transparency, single air drop to save distribution cost, I think it would be really successful.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BritCoin] x13 PoW+PoS Hybrid with no IPO - PoW ending soon!! [BRIT] on: July 03, 2014, 09:33:46 PM
I am struggling to mine this... have downloaded the sgminer suggested in the original post and trying with a .bat containing:

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
sgminer.exe --kernel x13mod -o stratum+tcp://brit.suprnova.cc:3111 -u xxx.xxx -p xxx -I 12 -g 4 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 2400

It runs but just doesnt show up on the mining pool.

do you have accepted shares ?

-I looks strange low to me.. i run it with -I 18

I left it on at -I 17 for a few mins: it just says pool 0 detected new block, but doesn't mention accepted shares

Try looking at your worker config again.

Thanks for your help but no luck - I tried creating a new worker, put 'Monitor' setting to 'on' on suprnova, and reran but didn't accept blocks. Can you see anything wrong in those settings I have put above? I have used the same settings for darkcoin (but with the different kernel)

Yeah i dont know. I logged into the super pool and was able to connect and hash without any problems.

It's not the pool - I tried that and another... maybe just the sgminer doesnt like my AMD 6670

he is online every day but now word what so ever. it is really pissing me off, it is hard to stay positive this way!  Do you really think the are spending 600 a day on salary for the d2d but not make even one photo or give us one small update. No I think the d2d never started and the never felt the need to tell us.

Yeah it is unbelievable that they would be spending 600 euro a day on a coin worth probably less than 600euros in total. Looks like we all lost all our money on this one.......

Yeah I saw that - difficulty right up to 5 from just 1.... price down at next to nothing though

Reasons to believe this is a scam:
--Silence from Devs, no twitter updates, no photos (which would be easy quick win)
--no news stories coming from Malta about D2D
--the contradiction of people investing so much money in D2D but not buying any of the coins themselves when they are so cheap
--recent followers on twitter are all bitcoin accounts - I would expect a few Maltese that get interested when they get free coins and then follow the twitter

Reasons to believe this is for real:
--Radi does seem really honest and truthful in all his posts
--Some people do keep mining in the background, and logically why would they when it is completely unprofitable - unless it is the Devs? It fits in with what they say on the muniticoin website about them using X11 to mine in Malta themselves in the hot weather
--Recently there are a lot of buy orders and the price has been stable: top order on bittrex is for 300,000 - probably about 10% of mined coins, 2nd order is for 1.96million - probably about 70% of all mined coins.
Why are some people so confident?
--If it was a scam they would just sell off all the premined coins on bittrex now as they know it's not going to recover or there will be no more photos, and still get about 0.85btc. The fact that they do not do that leads me to believe it's not a scam.

Any new information I could find recently:

Any news from anyone, or evidence of D2D? Why are 90% of all coins in the top 4 addresses if they should have already been distributed?

What address is the Premine in? I want to check

extract from the first post :
The address for first maildrop  is mWuwabhbmNHyYNLbQ8pzYfnFymHm5JicXf.
The address for the bounties is me4HkydLYfdH3PP2oDudqRYnpFvxuCL3K2.
The rest of the reserve for the other distributions is situated in magsvXHxvJhN3i3pEoSCPGJr5VwzFVgkrF.

I don't think those addresses line up with this?

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/#!rich

The total of the top 5 addresses is additively what I would expect for all the premine. At first I was thinking 2 of those would have to be poloniex and bittrex - but maybe they spread out over smaller wallets for safety.

#1, #2 and #3 on the richlist are definitely coins from the premine, you can trace their transactions (from block 53553) all the way back to block 1.

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mcgeM2eL2XrgpG9K4nCeqvTHf9KXAiidNT.htm receives the 24,334,133 million coins in block 1.
In block 422 almost all are transferred to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mVZDni44JhVnhkKu26TE3Q98uRPrC2Waiq.htm
In block 1050 they are transferred to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?meN5b73QegEppQmwCx9fcNv4TmQTy8bGh9.htm
In block 2068 they are transferred to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mbU4opnpyG5NoPShxCLJawbdzUPKbnnTqw.htm
In block 2070 they are split as ~7M to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mWuwabhbmNHyYNLbQ8pzYfnFymHm5JicXf.htm and ~17M to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mW3ou5vELkqTHs7tvQJYm66rE9u42QPy5n.htm

The address receiving the 7M is one that had been regularly mining, by the look of it.
In block 22297 the 7M transfers to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mYx67d6MCrkbtDeRZHPj6rpWoedmWDFwFb.htm then in block 53373 to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mX99GbGrNxaVDseC6oA1Rkzwi5Mo2bFroP.htm, then in block 53553 (now down to 6M) to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mZXUsuy8SkrtjD5QcKgnvRJ49YPhmzcG9U.htm and in the same block (now down to 5.5M) to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mW15iv1mMh5kN3n2JjPndUXxt6jF1mHv8Z.htm (#2). Basically 500k was split off at each point.

The ~17M was transferred in block 22294 (now down to 16.5M) to http://chainz.cryptoid.info/mun/address.dws?mTtrqAooKh44qSd8G5nQbyZNrVmgzkRFCk.htm (#1)
#3 is formed by funds split off from the movements above.

This all looks like reasonable preparation for coin distribution, breaking the premine down into smaller amount to divide between areas/people.

@balu

so it's adresses on place #1-#4 on the richlist, yes?  I was calulculating from the ann 76mio coins total the premine for distribution (32%) is 24,3 million
wallet #1 to #4 combined are holding roughly that. Maybe not a bad idea to show those adresses directly in the ann and be transparent with regular updates hoch much has been distributed already and in what way exactly. The better the transparency and accounting for with the premine the more trust you will have in the end of the day.

I am confused.... if addresses #1-#4 are the premine... and the D2D distribution has already started, surely sum of 1-4 should be significantly less than 32%? More like 24%?

Where is Radi, he is tossed the coin?

I guess so - on his message history he is actively posting on other coins but not muniti

I think someone tried to pump it on bittrex today - 10x price rise then fell back down

I really hope this coin does well... but to be honest... what team would spend 15,000euros on door to door distribution, but yet at the same time not spend 1,000euros buying up some of the insanely cheap muniti on the free market for themselves? Why would they go to all of the hard work and invest their own money in distribution, without taking any of the profits of price growth for themselves? I think it is more likely that they orchestrated the whole thing expecting a pump on the starting of the D2D, where they would sell loads of the premine and then disappear. Since there was no pump they just disappeared. Am a bit disappointed since I bought over 1btc of it on the way down, and now it's worth nothing...

Hey Dev,

I think it would be really good to have photos of people out doing the D2D. This is what makes this coin stand out from the rest - so why not do everything you can to capitalise on this? Smiley people out in the sun doing D2D!

As for market price - at the current level there's not really much further it can fall - I think those of us who still believe in the coin are passively buying at bargain levels rather than being forced to buy by expectations of a short term price rise. I am still wondering what the intention of that 400k sell is at 329 satoshi on Bittrex if it is not to just depress the price to buy more coins. Has anyone noticed that annoying bot that always bids just 1 sat higher than whatever manual price you set!?

FYI guys, if you are interested you can get 1000 free NHZ on poloniex (go to 'giveaways'), which in turn would get you about 330MUN ;-)

Really looking forward to the D2D!!
