States around the country — more than 20 in total — have legalized medical marijuana.
I'm sorry none of the states around the country have legalized medical marijuana, and there are only 9 states in the country not more than 20 - Duh! And which rock did you crawl out from under? The USA has had 50 states since 1959, this is a fact. Also a fact is that 29 states and the District of Columbia have all passed legislation legalizing MMJ in some capacity. What this does is establish a legal precedent for defense from laws that contradict their individual MMJ laws. This does not necessarily establish an eco system, but is the first step in correcting years of failed policy both home and broad. |

The wallet will prefer the bootstrap.dat file and load the chain from disk before renaming the file bootstrap.old and continuing to sync with the network. You may delete the file bootstrap.old or leave it if you have sufficient hard drive space. Renaming the file bootstrap.dat and restarting the wallet is all that's required if you ever need to download the blockchain again for some obscure reason. Make sure you back up your wallet.dat file once you have coins, everything else can always be recovered. *You should verify this file before using it. To do so on a Mac open a terminal window (open spotlight & type "term" or in Finder double click ~/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app) and type the command "md5 path_to_file" (tip: you can type md5 and leave a space, then drag the file to check into the terminal window) and check that the response matches that listed above. i'm reading on twitter that CANN may get approval news in two weeks by state of nevada
are the devs allowed to speak on this or is this public knowledge?
Approval for what? Nevada already legalized, last weekend. Look at the plethora of states that have passed legalization initiative already and then try and find where it correlates to CANN's historical price. FWIT, CANN is based out of AZ, who have time and time again voted against ballots initiatives to legalize. What happens in NV has absolute no impact on CANN. I've been on this train ride for years and have by rebuys set accordingly, still at least 50% over priced. (now closer to 75-80%) |

If everyone would be smart and remove all their SELL at 1, 2, 3, 4, satoshis, and pick a number we all agree on, we can make this happen, otherwise, stuck at 1 and 2sats..just like always, lets band together or sink....brutal as that sounds, then you will weed out everyone that wants to kill this coin at 1 or 2 sats....pick a number....whatever number is reasonable before the swap, and everybody remove your low sell bids..and we can be in business, otherwise, there are so many of these coins...it is useless...I wan't this to succeed as much as the next person, I have a lot of mining involved in this since day 1, had over 1 billion, before the swap from scrypt to x-algo, which was 10:1
Let's get it together guys. post a vote, do something, someone take charge, a simple algo-change, is not gonna save it, stopping the low selling, will fix the problem,..pick a number and I will support it. I wont sell before that point.
This is just like playing poker, and you guys, need to learn this, pump and dump uses scare tactics, to make you sell at lowest price. If no one selsl low...then they can't win.....they are bluffing. Trust me, I play lots of online poker as well as play this crypto game, but since this is the first coin I ever started mining with, I do not want it to fail...
HTML5, my fav, and yes I said, I didn't care if you burnt the ones at Bleutrade, but I have my coins spread out, as well as a few stored in my wallet, as most should, hedging your bets, until you see what is going on.....had coins on all 3 sites....(now 4 counting coin-gather.net), buy sell at the best places....
I am very sorry if you guys thought that, I did not care about my Bleu coins, I do, but I want what is best for the COIN...my first coin, HTML5, and if you put all your coins in one place, and something goes wrong, only yourself, to blame...GO HTML5...WAY PAST THE MOON!!!!!!

and here is the best part......all those coins they bought at 1 sat.....and trying to sell at 1sat...they will be stuck with....there are so many buys at 1sat making it worthless, billions, lets make them regret it. THAT will solve the low sats....get them up to at least a respectful number, and others will start believing... Gotta know when to hold 'em, and know when to fold 'em... I welcome the low price because I would like to buy the 100m+ i sold off @ 8-10 sat. Someone fill my doge-html5 on Bleu, please. |

Is there a working wallet? I recently found some coins I mined back in 2014 and would like to move them to an up to date wallet. I’m currently on 2.0.0.1 and used the boostrap file linked a page or 2 back and have 15 active connections with the .conf with the most recent node list. But I’m stuck on a single block on for over 20 hours and the 2 test transfers I tried to send to Bittrex and nothing seems to work. It’s only a few thousand coins, but it would be nice to be able to regain control of them. Any advice would be great! Thanks -DJ

I just did a small spread sample test. i bot placed 15 small buys... very fast on a spread from 2400 to 2200... all small 25-35 cann in size. they all sold immediately. basically i was trying to bury the spread/hide it, make it long and strung out with small buys. but the thing is, the rest of the buys stayed. meaning someone who has buys on the books, is selling into the buys from the same account. there is going to be a dump likely. someone... is accumulating coins. tips to the twitter post for seeing that nice find. I get what you are proposing, but if you use the beta version of the site to check the order book you can see every order. Nope, open up file explorer and type %appdata% this will take you to the correct directory. I don`t have that folder. The only place where cannabis exist is C:/program files/cannabiscoin. And there is three files there:
cannabiscoin-qt(app file) ; copying(txt file) ; uninstall.
Should i put this "dat" file in this folder?

I saw 1580 BTC sell order on cryptsy at .05. I don't think anyone would put that much money on an exchange at one time. I think these guys are the ones who created the exchange and they mine, pump & dump new coins to make it look like they have something going on. Offcourse it was removed after a while as soon as somebody mentioned it in chat. On other hand. CANN is strong. I'm sure we'll see $5 soon. I've been spreading the news all day.  Keep spreading the words and keep buying CANNI think there are many of us here who could put up that sell wall. wouldn't it only take like 35,000 CANN @ .05btc |

I accidentally sent my coins to the wrong wallet ( a completely different coin wallet, CannaCoin) by mistake.
This is the wallet it went to, as you can see, its not even a cannabiscoin wallet address but they still left my wallet and it appears they were confirmed

Yes, if you have the private key that corresponds to the CCN address you sent the CANN to. open the CCN wallet and in the console type "dumpprivkey CP4NK8Eavx1QZd7ijnH3WrwSaiu414nzUR" (with out the quotes) and it will return a private key. Now copy that string of characters and then open your CANN wallet. Again help->Debug Window-> Console this time type importprivkey (paste private key extracted from CCN wallet) this should import that address into your CANN wallet The wallet I sent it to was an exchange wallet so I dont have the private key. Am I boned? If you still have the account open with the exchange you were trying to seed the CANN to you can ask if they can dump the private key for you. I don't know if its possible. but you can open a support ticket and explain the situation to them, hopefully they could help. |

I think this coin is the best way for MMJ shops to operate. shit even illegal drug dealers will start to accept cannabiscoin for weed... its so much better than dollars. i actually think this Coin will revolutionize the whole weed industry in america, maybe even the world in the near future. Can't wait until Holland jumps on board this then I can drive up there n get some free weed I just wish i would've known about this coin earlier and had a better mining rig to support the hashing. YES WE CANN! Damadegyptian, I also think it could be ideal for MMJ shops outside of Arizona (particularly California!!), but my concern is specifically related to Arizona Dispensaries. The Arizona Department of Health Services Medical Marijuana Regulations have requirements for accounting principals that dispensaries must follow, amongst other requirements. The regulations aren't clear as to whether an Arizona dispensary CAN accept Cannabis Coin and then exchange it for USD. Remember, Arizona dispensaries are also required to pay TAXES to the State of Arizona in addition to any taxes implemented by the county and city. Dispensaries are also required to track and report each and every transaction with every patient to the AZDHS, including what strain the person bought, how much marijuana was purchased, and how much money was exchanged. (So that the State can electronically keep track of how much marijuana you buy, so that you can't possibly buy more than 2 1/2 Ounces every 14 days) So the idea of an Arizona Dispensary holding on to their Cannabis Coins would likely not be possible as the Dispensary is required to report the value at the time of the electronic transaction inside the dispensary. Arizona Department of Health Services Medical Marijuana Regulations: http://azsos.gov/public_services/Title_09/9-17.htmThe fundamental problem is that Arizona's Medical Marijuana regulations we're written by an agency that didn't want medical marijuana in the first place. And let me remind you all that the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act was approved by a vote of 50.2% of Arizonans. No, that isn't a typo. The regulations were NOT written for the patients' best interest. It is generally accepted in the Arizona medical marijuana industry that our medical marijuana is awful. Also, I wanted to know is there an incentive for an independent dealer to accept only Cannabis Coin and not just accept ANY form of crypto-currency like Bitcoin AND Cannabis Coin? (Or whatever coin the person happens to have for that matter) Thanks and lots of love to you all! I think some of your questions have more to do with you not fully understanding how cryptocurriency works. As far as accounting, utilizing the block chain to analyze transactions answers almost all of your concerns. Every transaction is received and verifies by other CANN holders and as a result is 100% transparent and auditable. If correctly integrated into a pos system it could easily be the "database" that records and address all of your accounting concerns. I would invite you to explore more about the fundamentals of how crypto works before you make blanket assumptions. From your experience it sounds like you are frustrated with the way mmj has progressed in AZ. Why would you not welcome, or at least be open minded to a fundament revamping of the way mmj is dispensed. I live in a state where it is still 100% illegal, but I hope as we come to our senses, maybe someday I will be able to open a CANN franchise here. D9 and his team have done some great work so far and I have no doubt with their help and my CANN holdings I could easily open shop here some day. To see the bigger picture will require some time and research, but if you are legitamatly interested in the CANN movement I would encourage it. We can never have to many well spoken, calm community members. And dispensaries can accept any payment they want, the reason they don't is because there was no payment platform that was industry specific. It can be difficult to use bitcoin because transaction can take 15-90 mins to confirm. Cannabis coin is more like 90 seconds... I apologize in advance for spelling/grammer. I'm sending from my S4. Why do you say that? What do you see? thnx. ~darylluke. Multiple large 10+ btc buy orders being flashed and the sell orders are beginning to thin out. It might be nothing or some new btc might have arrived to market. Either way its fun to watch, as I'm not all that interested in selling my CANN. Every dump on the way up helps increase distribution, of course some people will need to take profits on the way resulting in disbursement of their bulk holdings. In the long run this is a good thing. IMHO edit: also looks like someone miight have bots working hard again |

Maybe before MaryJ spreads to too many exchanges the Dev's should do a 1-1 exchange to a new blockchain. Premine 1 block with the total coins valid right now, and ask the exchanges to help do a v1-to-v2 similar to how bluetrade help html to html5... Just a though. so theres alot of talk by professionals on irc about the coins being completely recoverable. and saying that they should be imported back and sent to a real burn address.

did u finish CRYPTO-101? how do you import private key from a different coin addy? If it is possible, there are so many coin on market have similar addy. more than 100 coin have addy like BTC/LTC. You guys are wrong and I hope that Ocminers experiment has convinced you of that. _IF_ a public key for COINA is compatible with COINB, there is a high likelihood that COINA private key can be imported into COINB. This is the process we have to go through every time someone sends their ARCH coins to their ARCOIN wallet for example. That said, as long as the private key for the address that the coins were sent to has been destroyed, this shouldn't be an issue. My original concern was the fact that the blockexplorer hid the burn address. I have since verified the burn on both the original explorer and the one ocminer put up. At this time, we have removed the warning with the understanding c-cex has destroyed the coins along with the private key properly. Thanks, richie Did you notice in the video of the "burning" the mammoth wallet was already open and the address used was already created. How are you sure that the person making the transfer video didn't "dumpprivkey" before he started the video. If anything this should cast further doubt as to what is really going on here. I hope you guys don't get burnt by this, Bittrex is one of the last decent places left to trade. |
